Having trouble starting or following through with your screenplay? Designed as both a workshop and instruction on craft as a focus, students will have an opportunity to learn the art form of screenwriting, generate work in class, and share and receive feedback from their peers and teaching artist.

This class is part of a series of classes that cover the issues and traditions of writers of color and Indigenous writers and is intended for writers of color and Indigenous writers to work on their craft in a space that centers them and their work.

Each week the class will dive into "craft" and some vital aspects of the short story form such as point of view, characterization, plot, stakes, and structure. Classes will kick off with instruction and some weeks a generative exercise before moving into interaction.

The goal of this class is to create space for Black, Indigenous, and POC writers to analyze and practice applying BIPOC cultural interpretations of fiction craft elements.

This one-day "How to Get Published" workshop, scheduled for April 6, 2024, in St. Paul, MN, offers intensive instruction, the opportunity to pitch to literary agents and editors, and a range of classes on publishing, query writing, and manuscript marketing. It is suitable for writers of all genres, focusing on both fiction and nonfiction, with a limit of 225 participants​​.

This is a virtual writer's critique and support group that caters to a diverse range of writers, from beginners to seasoned professionals. The group, which meets every Wednesday evening via Zoom, offers an eclectic environment for writers of various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.
