One Day I’ll Be There - 3rd story of demonslayer fanfic

YES! I HAVE A SERIES! This is the third story of my demonslayer fanfic with my lovely sis Priyamvada Deshmukh! Check out the first and second partssss! Also, me becoming a hasira has NOT occurred YET.

  “T-tanjiro! You‘re alive!”

He grinned and walked up to me. I could feel Hana’s nervousnes.

“Where’s Kanao? I thought I saw her....”

“She went to pick flowers.”

Hana tugged at my sleve harder. I grimaced.

I admit that I am a bit jealous of Kaguya Saishohanamy(Hana), my adopted sister. Eleven years old and already a demonslayer. When I was eleven I was still napping and sleeping and had no fighting power. Her blade is a light purple-pink blade with a halo-like handguard with cards engraved on it. Wow. A blade that turned for her at age eleven! And with her having a disability! Hana has Alice-in-Wonderland syndrome. She can only see blobs of light and her most trusted friends. Still, in the selection, she sliced a demon from behind. That is top-notch skills!

”What’s wrong?”

She pointed at Tanjiro’s case.

“Hmm? Oh! Demon?”

Yeah, she can’t speak, but she is super smart. I never taught her math yet she solved one hundred problems in a minute.

“The demon is fine! Really!”

She doesn’t trust Tanjiro. She is afraid of the demon he is carrying. I trust it, but Hana...

She edged closer to me.

”So, you got a mission?” I spoke to Tanjiro, hoping he would not see me blush.

”Yeah, Majikku. I gotta go to a nearby village. Kids have been found dead, with horns around them. It’s sad..”

”CanmeandHanacomewithyoupleasewecanhelp-”

Hana flinched.

He smiled at me.

”Okay!”

Hana made a groaning motion. I grasped her hand.

”I’ll protect you! Promise.”

Ramen Villa Arc:

”The villa is in a forest?”

”Yes, and we.....”

Hana clutched her sword tighter. I noticed that she was more tensed up and emotionless. Go figure. I was too. The villa was creepy. I don’t know why, but it had a dark sense. It was-

“Nobody is here!”

” But we were sent here to-“

”Exactly.”

Tanjiro suddenly grabbed his nose. He made a gagging motion and fumbled his sword. Hana unsheathed her sword and pointed it in the air. I was confused and worried. Then it hit me too. Disgusting. The smell was a mixture of sweat and rotting fish, with dirty socks and foul cabbage.

It was the smell that was swarming around us. We had not sensed it until we walked in the villa and-

”T-the demon-“

”Smell?”

”Yes....”

Hana jumped and took off. Me and Tanjiro were left standing in the foul swamp.

”She’s fast!”

”Hana! 

We started running after her. She was speeding into the villa ground.

Anywhere to distance me from that smell! The demon’s territory! 

NIGHT:

In the streets of the villa, there was ten people walking around, stumbling and tripping. No kids. 

I walked up to a man. 

“Sir, do you know about the horn attacks-“

He looked up and started crying.

“NO! Don’t say it! The horned thing will get us! pLEASE! STOP!”

“Sir-“

He finally stopped screaming at me to stop and looked at me, my uniform, and my star-shaped handguard on my sword.

“My poor child...

Tanjiro looked like he wanted to punch something. I felt sick. A demon did that to a child. Did every kid here get horribly murdered?

Hana uncovered her eyes. She was crying. I patted her but broke down myself.

“This- this is sick. Killing children is wrong.” Tanjiro stared at the man. Then he looked at me again.

“I got an idea...”

Hana was clutching her fists now. Her face was red. So was mine.

”let’s do it.”

It was simple. I would stay in one of the houses and wait for the demon. I qualified as a kid, and it would probably come for me. Then Hana and Tanjiro would come and the the fight begins. But Hana still wouldn’t trust Tanjiro.

”Hana! You’ll be fine!”

She pointed at Tanjiro again, then unsheathed her sword and pointed at me.

“It’s safe.....safe.”

Hana still shook her head. We ended up switching spots and I ended up with Tanjiro.

”So, she knows the signal?”

”Yes. She does.”

”It’s amazing how she can fight with a disorder.”

”Yep. It is!”

I looked at the handsome boy before me. His red hair, his bright eyes, his black sword. I then looked at the case he was carrying. In it was a demon.

I can trust him. 

The signal rang. I took out my sword and jumped out off the bushes, taking off to the house Hana was in.

HANA!

Tanjiro raced ahead and sliced the door down. I followed him in and-!

There was a ugly girl with a sickly pale yellow skin. Horns sat on her white hair.

Horns. Horns that killed kids.

Hana backflipped to us. She pointed at the demon.

“A-a-are you guys hAsHiRa?” The demon started shaking.

“No! We’re here to stop your reign of terror!”

“Oh. D-die!”

Then I saw the engraftment on her eyes. Lower rank four.

Oh no.

“SWORD SPELL OF A THOUSAND HELLS!” I roared.

It squeaked and ran, shooting horns. One caught Hana in the arm. She fell.

“NO ONE HURTS MY SISTER!”

Tanjiro opened the box, and screamed “NEZUKO! PROTECT HANA-CHAN!”

I dodged more horns and flew to the demon’s neck. Then spikes rose up and hit me repeatedly and threw me up in the air.

“.....S....s....SISTER!”

Hana spoke!

C R A C K.

Broke my ribs and leg... The pain is unreal...

NO! DON’T FAINT!

I got up. Fell down. Is that Tanjiro?

“Stay here.”

He sprinted to the demon. Then got hit with more spikes. Knocked himself out. The demon is coming! 

Stay here? No freaking way.

“GET AWAY!”

I kicked the demon into it’s face. Then I stabbed it. Hana ran towards me too. Then pain.. again. 

ARGHHH!

More spikes! No! Hana- 

THE GIRL DEMON- TANJIRO SISTER NEZUKO- SHIELDED US?

I jumped up. Ouch.. no. Must. Cut. The. Neck.

Hana grabbed me and pushed me down. She then hugged Nezuko and charged the lower rank four. Her face was a scowl that burning everything in it’s touch. The demon shoot more sharper spikes. Hana avoided all of them. The demon was clearly panicking.

“S-stop coming! I’ll cut you to pieces! Ribbons! Strips of-“

It’s head fell off. 

I blacked out.
