“Well, that’s the last of it.” My mom said. I walked slowly up the pathway to the front of the house. It had been so many years since someone had been here, and even longer since I had. The once quaint bushes that used to grow on either side of the path that had used to only gently spill over onto the concrete now grew with nothing to hold it back, leaving very little room for walking.
