There was a worried look on his face. “Are you sure you’re ready?” He asked for the hundredth time. “Of course,” Candice said. Despite her confident facade, she felt her anxiety gnawing at the back of her mind. She knew the broad strokes of what would happen tonight, but was still unsure if it would work.
