One Day I'll Be There (Demonslayer Fan Fiction) Majikku(My OC)'s POV

Day One:

I'm cold. Today is a cold day. Everything is covered with snow.

No turning back.

The forest that I burst out of is creepy. I can't go back. Everything is dark there. Everything is scary. On the outside, everything is cold.

But it beats the dark and bloody forest.

You see, I am a demonslayer. A new one. A just turned demonslayer. I just came one because I...I just escaped death. Tell you more later. I'm too tired.

Day Two:

I was born into a wealthy family. The eldest of ten siblings, I was usually well off on my own.

That saved me.

I was wandering the castle like usual when it moved. Startled, I realized something.

Oh No....

Every day, the little tremors I have been feeling were from the castle moving.

There was something terribly wrong.

I had read about the first demon, Muzan. He slaughtered humans and turned them into demons. And he had a place called the infinity castle. It could move everywhere without being undetected.

And I was LIVING in it.

The floor moved and down I fell....

Then I saw him.

The Demon Lord.

My family was unknowingly moved in this place! To be killed!

HOLY-

I was too late. My brothers and sisters were dead, having their arms and heads exploded. My parents, eaten with only bones left. Muzan was grinning sickly.

WAIT!

Something is moving!!

Hono!!

Honoooooo!

Hono is alive! He's alive! He's...

A demon.

I ran. Ran before they saw me. Ran before I was killed. Ran for my life. I burst out of the door, tears flooding my eyes. I ran out of the forest the infinity castle was hiding in. Ran all the way to here, a snowy mountain.

Collapsing, I woke up, tired and alone. Then I remembered that I could become a demonslayer. Maybe I could heal my brother Hono. Maybe I could defeat the demon that ripped my family away.

Maybe.

Day Three:

I FOUND IT!!!!! I FOUND THE BLADE!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!

The buried nirchin blade! I unsheathed it and.....!

WHAT.

IT TURNED PURPLE.

WHAT.

HOW?

I can't be a- a- a magic bender....

It's too dangerous to use the Magic Bending... I know it but I could kill myself and-

No... I buried this blade in an emergency...but when I unsheathed it, it turn purple!

So... am I a demon slayer now?

How do I become…. Right! I know! The final selection! I just need to survive seven days!

Gotta get to the final selection. I need to train!

Wait.

Why am I doing this? Just because a dumb blade turned purple? Or because my family-

*gasps and wipes tears*

Let's do this.

Day Four:

"AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaAAAAAH!!!"

So, I apparently have to defeat demons and survive for seven days. Wow. This is day six, as I started yesterday immediately. They let me in quickly, as they saw my blade. I have met a coward named Zenitsu, who met me and then begged me to marry him. Quiet Kanao, who uses Flower Breathing and Is the adoptive sister of Shinobu. We were friends right away, with me talking a lot. There was also a cute boy named Tanjiro. He was kind and smiled sweetly. His blade was black.

"At least it's not purple..."

Magic Benders use deep thrust's multiple times on an enemy to paralyze, poison, stun, freeze, burn, or just make them disappear. They are the only benders who can heal themselves. The bending is derived from insect breathing, and one of my idols, Shinobu, uses it. I know her because I got attacked by a demon and had gotten bitten multiple times before Shinobu destroyed it. Since then I have trained my breathing. Who knew that it would end like this...

I fingered my star-shaped handguard nervously. Brushed my very long hair away from it’s draped position over my eye. Yep. My hair grew long during the demon attack, and so did my nails. I don't need human flesh, but I like blood. I hate demons.

Rustle.

Day Five.

I’m so tired. Demons everywhere. Must kill them…!

“A fffffffresh girrrrrrrl….. Yummmmmmy….”

I deflected one of the demon’s spikes and cut off it’s head using Magic Breathing, first form: Shade Star Slice.

“Gasp...Gasp...Gasp.”

Clink!

“Tanjiro!”

Another demon appeared and reached for me, and… Tanjiro saved me. 

“You alright?”

“Yes..”

He grins and speeds off.

I don’t want to fight anymore. I hate demons. I hate them. Hate their laugh. Hate their faces. Hate demons.

Swish.

“Argh!”

I slice another demon’s head and legs, for good measure.

I hate them for slaughtering my family.

I slump towards the ground. Then I hear a voice.

“Majikku!”

“Kanao!”

“Come on! Tanjiro needs help!”

I better go with Kanao now.

Day Six:

Magic Breathing Forms:

First form: Shade Star Slice

Second: Shadow Swing

Third: Dark Destroyer

Forth: Enchanting Mist

Fifth: Healing Aurora.

Sixth: Sword Spell Of A Thousand Hells

Seventh: Made by me. Seresute. Enhances mind power and speed. The user achieves superspeed and cuts the enemy with sharp slashes and uses their boosted brain power to land precise hits.

Day Seven:

“S-six?!”

Only six of us demonslayers made it. There were twenty seven of us. I feel sick.

Tanjiro is here, with Kanao and Zenitsu. A gun welding demonslayer, Genya, stands sour faced. There was a boar head guy, but he is not here. We get our next missions and I head off with Kanao. I did it. I am a demon slayer now… 

Mom. Dad. Sister. Brother. H-Hono.

I will avenge you.

Day eight.

“Oof-”

I fall again. This next mission is so far away. At least Kanao is here. I don’t now if I can- IS THAT THE PILLAR’S HEADQUARTERS?

I fall again.

“Majikku?”

I- I can’t breath.

Everything is black..

No… Kanao…. No…

Wake up, Majjiku.

Mother?

Yes.

I can’t. I’m too tired. Too hurt. Too-

Stop. Get up. You have to do this. Go to the pillars.

Mom…

Go...You can do it….

I gasp and wake up. Then I see Kanao’s concerned face…

“What?”

I then see all the pillars.

Day Nine:

“YOU SHOULD BE A PILLAR!!!”

“Why- please- no-”

“Come on!”

One of the girls that are taking care of me wants me to become a pillar. I’m not sure.

When I explained my situation to the pillars, they accepted me as a trainee. I trained very hard these past two mouths, and could be a pillar. But…

“I dunno if I could… I could die… I could get captured…”

"COME on!!"

Night:

After a lot of thinking, I went to go tell the pillars my decision and ran into an excited Shinobu.

“Majikku.... I found out that we are related! It was in your father's will!”

I gasp.

My idol. I am related to my idol.

Mom....

Dad...

Honoo.....

Kanao.

I can protect you.

All of you. AND Shinobu.

I WON'T LET YOU DOWN.

Day Ten:

I’m a pillar now. 

I can fight demons. 

Kill Muzan.

I'll take revenge for my parents.

I have pillar friends and all the pillars are so nice.

Mom. Dad. Hono. I’m finally here. At home.
