The year? I think it was 1974. The first party? No I had been to several family parties. This however was the first Halloween party for everyone in the county.My mom thought of doing things right for Halloween. And? Well, we had close to 321 people on the guess register. Why? Allergies? Sure, I have a lot of them. I am not able to use soap. I am not able to use Era or Tide on my clothing. I can not stand dust. People forget I have lived elsewhere. What is more astounding are some of my memories of people and places? Take, for instance, an old country house that people say is so wonderful. I had just moved to town. Exploring the streets, I came across a bookstore. The sign intrigued me, so I went in. The front counter was unmanned.
