Adventure Kids Fantasy

Here I was again sitting on the subway just another weekend on my way to dad’s house. Then suddenly the train unexpectedly stopped. Everyone was flung forward, I looked out my window and we were in the middle of nowhere. when I looked out my window all I could see for miles was the woods and lots of beautiful flowers I knew what a few of them. My mom had the biggest garden you could have ever seen it was awesome, I always do my homework after school there in a pretty patch of marigolds on a bench me and my dad made before the divorce. I miss the garden my mom moved houses and I haven’t seen it in months.

The speaker came on and they said we all had to exit and we could get going in about 1 hour because they were having mechanical problems. So silly old me decided to explore…

There was this magical tree I saw this right off the bat, it was at least three times bigger than the rest of them. it was huge but the weird part was that the leaves were red and orange like it was the fall but it was spring the leaves should be coming in not out. All the branches came out like a big canopy over this part of the forest and everything under the tree was dead not a single tree or sprout of growth at all.

When I started walking I notice a little boy he can’t be more than two years old and he was also looking at the tree. None of the adults seemed to see the tree. Could only kids see it? Is this why the train stopped? I had so many questions rushing through my head I kept walking to the tree it was farther than I thought.  the boy was coming too. Why could only the boy and I see it? Will dad be worried if the train is late to the station? Why is nothing growing under the tree?

I couldn’t have been walking long but I heard the train whistle they were ready to go back! The train sounded far away. I noticed the boy was still following me he looked tired then I realized I was tired too. I scooped up the boy and started running the train couldn’t be that far away I had been walking for only a few minutes. But they did say the train would get going in an hour. Had I been walking for an hour? We could never make it back in time, but I kept running Mabey they finished quickly. Then the train took off I still couldn’t see it but I heard it.

I asked the boy,” what’s your name?”

“Ben,’’ he replied,” what’s your name why do you look sad.”

“I’m Keara and the train leaf without us but it’s ok ill find a way back.” I said I knew I would never find a way back but crying kids were annoying so I just told him that to cheer him up,” do you want to go exploring.”

“Yeah,” Ben replied.

So we set off once again to the tree. We passed more flowers and we even saw a bunny. It was getting dark outside and ben had fallen asleep in my arms and it was getting hard to carry him and I needed some magor sleep.

I set ben down on the ground so I could make a shelter for us bet there was no need, the trees leaves fell perfectly the second I thought about it. There was a shelter right before my eyes I put ben in the huge leaf fort then climbed in and fell right asleep.  It was more comfortable here than in my own bed at home

When I woke up I thought I was in a dream the tree didn’t look like fall anymore it was full of growth and fruit and had vines. our leaf fort looked like a flower house now. It reminded me of the arches at weddings coved in flowers but a shelter for me and ben. I started looking around and the tree had made a ladder straight to big bunch o fruit so I climbed. I did realize I was scared of heights till I was at the top it felt like hundreds of feet but I knew it was only about twenty feet off the ground. But that did not last long the tree shrunk down so I could pick the fruit from the ground some were even low enough for ben to reach this was perfect.  I went to wake ben up and was lying there so sweetly curled up in a tiny toddler ball. Then I smelt the dirty diaper.

When I woke up ben told me.’’ diaper diaper.” but it went away too. Was this tree magic? It must have been all the bad things have disappeared. It made me a shelter it made me some fruit. It lowed the tree so I could reach the fruit. Oh, yah the fruit I had collected some and I split it with ben. I had never seen this type of fruit it was blue but looked like an orange the whole thing was a dark blue. We opened it up. I took a bite not worrying it was ok to eat it tasted amazing all the flavors rushing into my mouth at once it tasted like all my favorite fruits together in one fruit it was awesome ben loved it too he said it tasted like tomatoes but I thought it tasted more like strawberry and pineapples it was wonderful.

This place was magic I was never leaving within a few days I had forgotten all about my old life and my parents now my life is nature and its beauties and the magic tree. And I have a brother named ben now this is the perfect life just like my garden at home but one hundred and one themes better.
