Diligent Carlos🧒🏻🧹🧼🧽

Once upon a time, there lived a little boy named Carlos. Well, he's not that little. He's eleven years old. He only had one sibling, named Kelly. Kelly was eight years old, she was smart and diligent. And, Carlos, oh Carlos, he's the exact opposite of his little sister. He was very lazy and just a bit smart. He always gets bad grades from his teacher which he really didn't like. Plus, he doesn't finish his homework and just lies down on his comfy armchair seeing the beautiful view outside his window.

One day, it was the end of the year, and it was almost November. Carlos was so happy and excited. You wonder why he is so excited for November? Well, it's actually because his parents promised to take the whole family on a vacation to Whitehaven Beach in Australia. Whitehaven Beach was very beautiful, and that's why his parents planned to go there for the holidays to enjoy their selves.

Well, Kelly was most unprepared for this trip to Australia. She was worried that she didn't listen to the teacher when she's on vacation. So, she immediately went to finish all her workbooks. After she was done, she went to bed since it was nighttime. When she was asleep her spirit asked God to fulfill her dearest wish. God did what her spirit had said and gone to ask some guards to help him to ask fairies for some help.

When the day came, Carlos was so happy that he shouted with joy when he first woke up in the morning. He happily went to get ready for the day. First, he went to brush his teeth. Next, he went to take a quick shower. Then he went to comb his hair, and he heard his parents and Kelly wake up. He didn't care about that and rushed to put some essential things that he forgot to put in his luggage.

But suddenly, someone called him, who could it be? It was nobody but Carlos's friend Dennis. Dennis told Carlos that he'll be going to Whitehaven Beach and asked him to come to a party that all of his classmates will attend. Carlos said yes, of course, and went to wash his hands. After that, they went to the airport and bought some food to eat there while waiting for the plane.

When Carlos and his family reached Whitehaven Beach, they met all of Carlos's friends there. It was Kellys first time meeting Carlos's friends. She was really shy and didn't say a single word. She went to her mom's side and told her that Carlos's friends looked very mean and acted mean too. Her mom told Kelly looks don't matter and brought her to book a hotel.

They booked an expensive hotel near Whitehaven Beach and that hotel was Reef View Hotel. They put all their stuff into their specific places and left for the beach happily. At the beach, Carlos immediately went to chill with his friends. Kelly just stood beside her mom talking to her about normal things while drinking some soda. Her dad was just calling his friends about how beautiful Whitehaven Beach is.

After hours of playing at the beach, it was time for Carlos to attend the party he had promised his friend to attend. When he went to the place that his friend had told him to go to, he saw that the party was so lively. But, he was so tired that after a few minutes and a few dance moves, he passed out quietly without anyone noticing.

When he was still sleeping on the floor, he dreamed of a tornado blowing him into a fairyland. He was terrified and thought it was real. When he reached the fairyland, he was mesmerized by all the giant candies and sweets that shocked him. He was about to eat one candy bear when......

Two fairies were standing looking at him. One fairy politely said: "Hello, Carlos. You are in Garden Fairyland right now, this is a dream but it is very realistic." Carlos was ecstatic when he heard the fairy say that. He immediately asked the fairy: "What are your names?" That fairy that told him everything just now told him: "My name is Florence, she's Lily." So, Carlos asked them again: "How do you know my name?" Fairy Lily said: "In the real world everyone has a spirit, so I asked your spirit which was flying around whose spirit was it."

Carlos asked them: "So, what do I do here hmm......" Fairy Lily said: "You get to choose between me and Florence's gardens. If you choose my garden I'll prepare some food for you and after that, you can go and do some fun activities. If you choose Florence's garden, she'll make a lot of sweet desserts for you and make eat them all day and never let you sleep ever. So, whose garden will you pick?"

Carlos chooses Fairy Lily's garden because he doesn't want to eat sweets all the time and not sleep. Some hours passed by and Carlos felt more energetic and diligent. But a few minutes later, Carlos asked the fairy if he could go back to real life because he misses his family. So, Fairy Lily immediately stopped the dream with her magic wand.

When Carlos woke up he saw that the party had ended and saw Kelly standing right in front of him. He stood up and helped Kelly tidy up. Kelly was surprised when she saw her brother so diligent. Then suddenly she remembered that she prayed to god to make her brother diligent. Maybe God did hear her patient calls every day.

From this day onwards, Carlos will help with the household chores like washing the dishes, help his dad wash the car, sweep the floor, clean his table, and even more. And, most importantly, he had very high grades in his exams and his parents bought almost whatever he wanted.

So, the moral of this story is to be diligent if not you'll be all alone at a party with no one standing next to you.
