Mr .Lindens Library

It was a beautiful day, Amelia was on her way to the library. Once she got there, she went straight to the fantasy books. Looking through all the books she noticed a beautiful golden book with an enchanting golden spine, she picked up the book to read it but noticed there was a golden lock binding the book closed. She went up to Mr. Linden the librarian and asked for the key to the book. Then frantically Mr. Linden grabbed the book and put it in a drawer. Amelia asked “what's wrong”, Mr linden replied “this is no ordinary book, you don't want to open it. and you're not allowed to read it.” Amelia replied, “I’m sure I'll be fine.” Then he said, “I’m warning you don't want to open this book.” Confused and a little annoyed Amelia checked out a different book and left. She started walking to her mother’s house to check on her. Her mom was having some trouble since Amelia moved out, Amelia's father had disappeared just a few years prior. Amelia went to her mother’s house and helped her with cleaning and groceries. There was a knock on the door, it was her boyfriend James. Amelia shockingly asked “what are you doing here” James replied, “I wanted to surprise you.” They went to the kitchen table, suddenly James pulled out a box,  excitedly Amelia opened it, and inside was a beautiful little golden key. She was shocked and asked him what the key was for. James said it was nothing, that it was a promise. James and Amelia spent the rest of the day together. Amelia was awoken by the sound of the door slamming shut. Noticing James was gone she ran outside to see him being dragged away by men in black suits. Amelia chased them to an alley where she saw Mr. Linden. They circled each other when Mr. Linden asked “where is the key? I know he gave it to you.” Amelia said “what key?” Linden angrily yelled, “stop lying to me.”  “I'm not,” but then  Amelia accidentally dropped the box the necklace was in. Mr. Linden grabbed it and ran.  Amelia chased him to the library.  where she saw Mr. Linden, the men in black suits, and James being pulled through a window in the library, Mr linden was holding the book she had wanted to check out. She ran up to the window when all of a sudden a long vine came and grabbed her, it was coming out of the window. Amelia tried to free herself from its grasp but failed and was yanked back into the window just as the sun was rising. Amelia fell and kept falling, she could see the sky getting further away. When she landed, she looked up and saw James being pulled by the same men who had taken him. She chased them through the land she had fallen into. She saw James go into a room with the men. She ran through the doors, but the doors slammed and all Amelia could see was a white room, and the room was getting smaller when a trap door opened. There was Mr. Linden, he said, “I warned you about messing with me.” Amelia was trapped in the box. Frantically trying to escape she felt a lift like she was flying. She felt around the box and noticed a latch on the bottom. She pulled out a bobby pin from her hair and tried to unlock the latch, she did it, but then the box flung open, she was about to fall. But she managed to grab the bottom of the crate.  She could see the whole city, the ground below was ugly. The buildings were grey and black, and all the plants were dead or dying. Once they flew past a tall building, Amelia jumped onto the roof. She had no idea where she was. Amelia started running through the old grimy looking city when suddenly she ran into a girl.  The girl was about the same age as amelia. The girl introduced herself as Katie and asked Amelia how she had gotten there. Amelia replied, “I don't know I was pulled through a window and now im here. Katie was shocked. Amelia was confused, “what?. '' Katie said “umm nothing, do you need help.” “That would be great”.  Amelia said. Katie said she was going to take Amelia to Jack Chase, He’s like a helper Katie told amelia.  The girls walked for a long time when finally they reached an old building. They went in and walked down a long set of stairs, till they reached a door. Inside was a man holding a book and talking to someone. Amelia tried to listen. The man was making a trade. Katie said, “this is Jack Chase.” Jack came up and kissed Amelia's hand. She pulled back quickly. Jack asked her what do you want. She said, “I need to find my friend James.” Katie whispered, “she's human.” Jack replied in a surprised tone, “Oh my. Well, that is interesting, my dear.” Then he said, “I will help you let’s  go.” Amelia asked, “why don't you know me.”  Jack replied “ you're a beautiful girl who requires help. Why wouldn’t I help you.” He pulled Amelia right out the door and then they were all back outside. Jack and Katie started to run following behind Amelia and shouted “where are we going.” Jack said, “Amelia you need  to be quiet.” Amelia whispered back  “why.” “that’s why.” Jack said as he pointed up and there was a flying machine with crates hanging down from it. They continued running through the city till he reached a big tall building Jack and escorted Amelia inside. In the building, there was a man who said only two could enter. Amelia and Jack left Katie at the door. They walked through the building and then came up to a couple, The man asked what do you want. Jack said, “we need you to help us get in contact with the head of the resistance.”  Why help this girl. The man walked around Amelia and saw a chain on the back of her neck. And pulled it out. The man looked at Jack. “Why does she have this?” “I don't know,” Jack said, “I had no idea.” Amelia,  intervened “it’s just something that was given to me.” Jack told Amelia “you can't have this, give it to me.”  “no, it’s mine.”  “Hey man sorry, we can’t help you.” The strange man said. Jack told Amelia to leave. Amelia reunited with Katie. Katie asked, “where is Jack?” “He is still in there.” Jack came out. Katie asked, “what happened.” “We have to go.” Amelia “go where” Jack hastily said, “look you just made it harder on both of us.” Jack asked Katie to go back. Amelia, and I will get a better passage if it is just the both of us. Katie left them and they started walking. Amelia asked, “what happened to her.” Just as Jack was about to tell her. They heard a shout there they are. Pointing at them was a man in a cat mask. Jack and Amelia were being chased. They ran when Jack told Amelia to go this way and approach a boat. Jack told Amelia to get in. She jumped in and they got away from the men. They stopped riding the boat and got on land. Jack and Amelia kept walking and Jack told her the story. Jack started it all began with a brother and sister, the sister’s name was Lena, and her brother Luther they were twins their father built a beautiful kingdom and called that kingdom De rêve and everyone was happy. But the father needed an heir to the crown naturally he chose Luther. Lena was furious. So Lena and Luther split up. Lena made her kingdom. As her kingdom grew and grew. Once Lena had enough power she went and destroyed  De Rêve and took it over and the land became this ugliness you see today. Luther’s kingdom fought very hard but eventually, Luther’s kingdom fell. Lena killed all of the plants and rainbow soldiers.  And just like that Lena took over. But over time Lena got bored and discovered a new world. A world with people in it, a world where people had feelings.  She started kidnaping people from the new world.  Discovered a way for the people’s feelings to be shared. She experimented and drained the humans of their feelings to sell and use. Now her kingdom operates from Le Bonne Nuit.  Which is where I am taking you. Amelia and Jack walked through the forest, when they heard a huge roar, charging at them was a giant flying bird, they tried to run away. But the bird went after Amelia. Jack tried to save her but the bird wanted Amelia. Amelia ran through the forest. While she was running she tripped and fell, now on the ground backing away the monster came up to her. The monster opened its mouth filled with big teeth, just when it seemed the monster was going to eat her in one bite. A blade went through the monster’s heart. Amelia looked up and it was a strange man in silver armor. Jack walked up to the man in awe said. “I thought the queen killed all of your kind.” said Jack “she did I’m afraid’ responded the strange man. Amelia asked Jack who that was. He explained how it was a rainbow knight. Oh wow thought Amelia do you think he could help us. Together with the 3 of them walked through the forest until they reached the knight’s hideout. The three of them spent the night there. The next morning amelia and jack started walking to Le Bonne Nuit. They walked. Till they reached Le Bonne Nuit. They sunk into the throne room. Where they saw the queen talking to her council. The queen said: the key, how could you lose the key, you ungrateful son.” she was pointing at james. James was the queen’s son. Amelia couldn't believe it and she hid behind one of the pillars of the throne room. The conversion continued as the queen told James that he was locked in his room till the key was found. the guards took hold of James. Now the queen shouted at Mr linden. The queen shouted how could you let her get away and with the key. Mr linden, scared, replied I had no idea she had it. Amelia knew that if she moved any further then she would be taken by the queen. So Amelia and Jack waited until James was taken to his room and Jack and Amelia followed. They knocked on the door and James opened it shocked to see Amelia. The two hugged but Amelia was so mad at James. Amelia and James fought but then a guard was coming there was no way out. James said that they would have to jump out the window. Amelia said, “are you crazy no.” Jack said, “I think we have to.” Amelia replied “fine.” But wait, James said one more thing your father’s here. Amelia was shocked and confused just as Jack grabbed her and pulled her out the window. They ran back to the forest. They reunited with the rainbow knight. Amelia was shocked and didn’t know what to do. Jack told her that he had made a meeting with someone code 2, about what to do with the key. Amelia and Jack walked through the forest to get wood for a fire for the night to come. As Amelia and Jack walked through the forest, they talked. Amelia thanked Jack for all of the help he said no problem. The two hugged for a long time then let go, stepped apart, and stared into the eyes of each other, and they both leaned in to kiss but just then a familiar voice said I hope I’m not interrupting. Amelia startled and turned around it was James. Amelia asked what are you doing here. I am code 2 said James. Jack said not possible you are the son of that ghastly woman.  Amelia jumped in “you said my father was here where he is.”  “I don't know, I just know my mother took him from your world to help her experiment on the people.” James explained, “I need to get him back.” Amelia told Jack desperately “We will,” said Jack.  James said, “I have a contact that can bring us your father, but just know he might not remember you since  he came here he got most of his emotions drained, there is a little left but not much.” It was getting late so Amelia, Jack, and James set up camp in the forest. In the morning James told Amelia and Jack that they were meeting the contact back in the city. Amelia, Jack, and James started walking, then they were back in the ugly grey dull city. They walked up to the roof where they met up with these men in black suits. Standing behind them was a man, Amelia walked slowly up to the group. The man behind the men in suits was her father. Amelia talked to her father hoping he would remember her. But he simply just stood blankly when he then said who are you. Amelia was devastated. Just as they were attacked by men in black suits Amelia and Jack managed to get away running through the forest and they ran into the rainbow knight. Amelia was devastated that her father didn't remember her anymore. The rainbow knight hand Link helped come up with a plan to get back into Le Bonne Nuit. Amelia secretly came up with her own plan. That night while the rainbow knight and jack were sleeping she sunk away and headed for Le Bonne Nuit. That morning Jack and the knight noticed Amelia had disappeared, and jack frantically looked for her. Meanwhile, Amelia had reached Le Bonne Nuit, she snuck then she was grabbed and pulled into a hallway by James. “Amelia you need to get out of here,” Amelia replied “No I am getting my father back”. Just when the queen snuck up on them and grabbed Amelia and the guards took James. They were both taken to the throne room. The queen asked Amelia for the key necklace, she didn't have it anymore. The queen was upset and had Amelia taken to a white room, there was nothing on the walls. Just then the floor started falling, every floorboard was falling one by one, dropping down a never-ending pit. Every floor bard fell till there was only one Amelia was standing on just then she heard a  sharp whisper saying “where's the key” over and over. Then Amelia thought to herself none of this is real it can't be so she jumped and she landed on the same floor that was just falling, then James came and got her out of the white room. James then took her to her father in the lab he was working in. Meanwhile, Jack was still looking for Amelia and figured she was probably going to Le Bonne Nuit, so he headed that way. Back at the queen’s lab, Amelia went up to her father trying to get him to remember when she said “come back to me dad” There was a light in her dad's eyes and he remembered rejoiced and hugged. But her father said that they need to help all the people stuck in the queen’s prisons. Amelia and her father and link ran through the castle when they were reunited with Jack. The group ran to the dungeon to help get the people out but most of them were completely brainwashed, then Amelia's father pressed a button and they suddenly woke up. The group ran out the doors and started running, Amelia Jack and her father were the last ones out when the guards came up and Amelia's father was shot, he fell to the floor so did Amelia, Amelia was crying and jack urging Amelia to get up and leave. Mr linden walked in and said, “ I warned you now it's too late” Amelia in awe was pulled up by Jack and then started running through the forest with the rest of the group. They ran up to the window that started it all and realized they didn't have the key. Just then Amelia pulled it out of her pocket. All of the humans jumped through the window. Then it was time for James and Jack to say goodbye to Amelia. Amelia asked if they wanted to come back with her. James told her that he had to stay to fix the mess his mother made, and Jack didn't know what to do. Lastly, James insisted that Amelia takes the key if she ever wanted to return. Well, how will you get to my world? James said we will never need to get to your world, I am never letting anyone take humans again. Amelia’s stepped through the window and the portal closed behind her. Back at home, she went to see her mother and told her that dad was alright that she felt it in her heart. Just then there was a knock on the door and it was Jack, Amelia was shocked, she gave him a huge hug and they finally kissed.then Amelia asked how he had gotten through. He said “I  followed you through before the window could close.”  That night as Amelia was going to sleep she grabbed the book that Mr linden warned her about. and she held it in her arms as she drifted off to sleep. Amelia asleep when the book flung open, just as the widow in the library lit up and started glowing as a portal was opened.
