Fiction Teens & Young Adult Inspirational

“Have you ever travelled a long journey? We all have and are, just not always in a train or a vehicle. If you think not let me tell you it is frustrating as heck and brain draining and boring but If only you change the way you look at things, It’ll change everything and you will realize there is so much beauty around you too and if you don’t enjoy the process of something what’s the guarantee that you will like the ending too. Sitting in that train constantly thinking ‘When are you going to reach your destination?’, ‘When will you be there’, Thinking it all again and again makes you feel impatient and restless but then you remind yourself that you will eventually reach there sometime, someday and then you’ll think, “Wow! Ok so now I am finally here’’. Everyone does, Because if you start from somewhere you will end somewhere too. So until you reach your destinations you can just sit there relax and look at the beautiful surroundings that you are surrounded by. I am feeling the same thing.” Said Sarah to herself while packing her stuff as she found herself stuck in the train of process which will lead her to her destiny. Her dreams finally will come true.

Sarah a tall, skinny little girl, perfectly fitting inside her favourite clothes mostly in her big stripped pyjamas and a oversized sweatshirt which she probably got from men’s section. For not so long enough she always dreamed of going outside, far far away from her town to a place where no one knows her, where she can finally be herself and live independently with freedom. ‘Freedom’ a word she adored but honestly who doesn’t, We all at some point in our life are found trapped in some kind of situation. Could be anything, Some people are trapped inside their head which only consist of thoughts that make their life worse and all appears black, they desire freedom from that depression. Some are trapped inside a bubble of illiteracy and need freedom from that bubble to be nourished with the world of knowledge. Physically trapped or mentally trapped it is not good either way we all want freedom from the stuff that is negative and no longer serves us in order to become the better best version of ourselves.

Just like us all she also wanted the power of ‘Freedom’ which she assumed she will get by living away from her mother’s house, Living alone or with her friends preferably with her cats and her art stuff which she called are her life, by working and making money of course and taking her decisions that she thinks are right and is not lagged on information from people whose opinions doesn’t even matter, meaning pursuing her dreams. She will make her right decision of Doing what she wants and not what is expected from her very vague personality which constantly makes her run away from people that she wants in her life and attracted to the ones who are let’s just say bad and makes people show her adverse side instead of her good and friendly one, her laziness and what not she is a mess which she definitely agrees about but she does have a really good heart and if you’ll look inside her eyes carefully you will see her innocence that lies inside her and definitely a child’s excitement that she carries in her heart.

And exactly that kind of excitement she was showing while she was packing her stuff thinking, what not she’s going to do and how fun it all will be when she will be living her dreams. Finally her packing is done at some point and she hugs her parents and her friends and leaves for her college, Ah ha! I think we know how that one will go huh? Basically, almost every kid her age is like that, excited and obviously ‘Young, Dumb and Broke’. But what makes her different from others is that she thinks that she is not like others and that does makes a huge difference, by just considering you are great you does become 50% of great because If you think you are who needs others opinions when you feel and consider yourself great already and other 50% is achieved by doing great stuff, Yes! You have to do that too.

Sarah is always been different from others I mean at least she believed she is, but the truth is that we all have problems and blessings just in disguises. One time she want to her mother crying over how she doesn’t feel enough, She said, “I can’t get anything right I have no qualities, I am not good at sports, I am an average student and Can’t even win a ‘Miss world title’ too, Who am I, What am I, Nothing. Look at Miley she’s good at basketball, look at Hannah she’s always on the top of every kid’s grades and always wins, and Clara well she’s just pretty and everyone likes her oh well! A new quality of mine that I remember I am not even pretty, OH MY GOD! What am I gonna do with my LIFE!”. Not so soon after that I clearly remembered her coming from her school and she was smiling as heck and her mother asked her, “What’s the matter ?”. She said, “Oh! Nothing.” And then she went to her room and called her friend Riley and she told her what an amazing day It was, she found that book already lying in her bag which her teacher told her to bring and she absolutely forgot about, She was selected for a chess competition and some other girl told her that she looked amazing that day and she was completely blushing and was flying in her imaginary clouds for that. And Yes! Now telling all this stuff to her mom will feel kind of embarrassing now that you’ve told her things that clearly weren’t true and absolutely not when she herself told you that so she just calls her friends and blushes and blushes all day. However it might sometimes feels like she just gets happy for little reasons but aren’t all the things that worry her little too, they are. Things like these doesn’t really matter and you can always learn that sport you like, work a little harder and you can ace any exam you want and you want to be pretty? Well everyone is pretty and beautiful and if something’s there that makes someone ugly is that selfish, unkind heart that they carry and their mean actions that harm other people. These all are little things anyway. With every slightest pain in life she thinks she is the worst and cries about it and with every slightest happiness she thanks god and thinks wow! Life is so beautiful, fun and worth living. Well she’s absolutely correct there, Life is definitely worth living, who has seen the future, just like you didn’t expected this pain or happiness that you are currently going through in present you also can’t expect that your coming future will be the same too. Things change and everyone have their good and bad days and that’s the truth.

Sarah started thinking what will it feel like when her dreams will become a reality, “Will I start glowing with a forever happiness ? ”, “Will I be scared of what will happen next ? ”, anything can happen. “Parties? Definitely, I mean I hope so or Will I fall in love? OH MY GOD! No”. I mean who does not think that especially kids her age definitely do. Sarah was a little scared, a little excited and with her shield of hope surrounding her happiness she was surely ready for anything that her future holds, I think everyone feels like this when they are on the verge of achieving their dreams, a mix of all the feelings and that rush ah YES! And at the end when you are there it all feels worth it now doesn’t it ? At this point we can all agree that Sarah is for sure an overthinker but that’s alright too It is all that’s makes her, her.

Sarah as she sits inside that train, quietly she sits on her seat and looks outside her window keeps her bags in their place and keeps a book and a pen in her soft hands as she looks outside with the same excitement and innocence in her eyes thinking it all where I started from.

oh well, this was actually very inspirational, talking about growing up, finding yourself and becoming independent. I liked it! Buuut, there's a major thing i've to talk about and that's your paragraphs. They're too huge and for a wonderful piece like this, you don't want you readers skimming through it. Shorten the paragraphs and everything's fine. And, it looks like an essay and not a story. Don't worry, i'll help you with that. If you want, I can correctly size the paragraphs for you. --I am feeling the same thing.” Said Sarah to her...

I really enjoyed reading this story, and I loved the questions at the start. Sarah seems like an awesome character! Here are a few things I'd like to point out: [Everyone does, Because if you start from somewhere you will end somewhere too.] Change the B to a lower case, there are serval others with an upper case [‘Freedom’ a word she adored but honestly who doesn’t, We all at some point in our life] so in this case, the W. [Sarah a tall, skinny little girl,] You need a comma after Sarah Overall, I think the idea is a good one, well...
