My story is entitled a fantasy story about Water Gods and Water spirits.
The story is entitled the Water god Poseidon who in Ancient Greek Religion is known as the god of the sea and of water. Also Poseidon is distinguished from Pontus as the personification of the sea and the oldest Greek divinity of the waters.
The Water spirit is also called Rahab as in Psalm 89 in the Bible. Water is known as the universal symbol of the unconscious mind and is also linked to the moon, femininity and irrationality. The unconscious mind is more closely linked to the lake or pond.
Water popularly represent life . Also to be precise Water is life. Water can be associated with birth, fertility, and refreshment.
With a Christian context , water has many correlations . The Amhitrite in Greek mythology is the goddess of the sea and the wife of the god Poseidon.
In the Gospel of John in reference to Water as in John 4:15 , Water was described as the Water of life being the Holy spirit.
Water gives us the spiritual teaching that we too flow into the Great Ocean at the end of our life journey.
As noted as Indigenous people first Nations recognize the sacredness of our water , the interconectedness of all life and the importance of protecting our water from pollution , drought and waste. The Water deity is a Water god or spirit associated with water or various bodies of water. Water deities or Water gods are common in mythology and were usually more important among civilizations in which the sea or ocean or a great river was more important.
Another important focus of worship of Water deities has been springs or holy wells.
Sezibwa is the goddess of the Sezibwa River, Nyami Nyami is a river spirit of the Batonga of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
In Kongo, there is the goddess of Rain , Rainbow, and waters. Also Funza is the goddess of Waters , a twin phenomenon.
Kalunga is the god of death and border between World of Alives and the World of the dead. Kinbazi is the goddess of sea storms.
Kwitikuiti is the serpent god of Spring and Waters. There is Mamba Muntu that is the goddess of Waters and sexuality. Mbumba is the rainbow serpent of terrestrial Waters. Also there is the god of rain and waters the Mputu Bunzi. There is the Mundele Albino gods of the sea.
Varuna is the Lord of All the Water bodies . Anuket is the goddess of the Nile and the nourisher of the fields. In the sea there exists the African water deity or spirit known as Mami Water.
These Mami Water are also known as mythical Water spirits known as a Mermaid. The Mermaid term this story as a fantasy because they have a merging of reality and childhood fantasy.
Also Water plays an important role in many legends and myths. There mythological water beings and gods , stories of heroes that have something to do with water.

Another Water spirit is the Lady of the Lake, the name of a mythological acquatic Water spirit in several different legends.
The Water spirit gave a ring that will protect mankind from all magic. Again Melusine was a Water spirit of fresh water in sacred springs and rivers in European mythology. Melusine is depicted as a kind of Mermaid and may even have wings.
The daughters of Nereus were the sea god, and his wife Doris. The Nereids were depicted as friendly folks always helping sailors through rough storms. The Nereids lived in the Mediterranean Sea as some sort of Water spirits.
These Water Spirits were human females with skins as the colour of the sea . These Water spirits could breath both water and air and could therefore live in both water and on land. The Water spirits were thought to be harmless if people left them alone.

Also Asopus is the River god in Greek mythology. Atlaua is the god of fishermen in Aztec mythology.
Doris is the goddess of the Mediterranean Sea. Again Duberdicus is the god of water in Lusitanian mythology. Dylan Eil Tan is the sea god in Welsh mythology.
Enki is the god of fresh water ocean, Hydras and the God of fresh water.
Manannan mac Lir is the sea and weather god in Irish mythology.
Nereus is the god of the Mediterranean Sea , fortune teller.
Also Neptune or Poseidon is the god of the sea in Roman and Greek mythology.
Nereus is the Water god of the Mediterranean Sea. Proteus is the early sea god in Greek mythology , a son of Poseidon. Also Rodon is the god of the sea in Illyrian mythology . Saraswati is a water god of a river goddess , the Saraswati River was named after her.
Trition is the god of the sea and messengers of the deep Greek mythology son of the Poseidon and Amphrite.
Untuntahe is the Water god with some magical powers in Native America. Varun is the god of rain and water of the celestial ocean . Yah is the god of the waters in Canaanite mythology. Yami is the goddess of rivers and waters.
There is also the excessive gratification and egotism in persons possessed by water spirits.
Again Water spirits lock up the material wealth and the financial breakthrough of their victims.
Also the water spirits reveal hidden secrets to their followers and devotees thereby encouraging the practices of divination , witchcraft and necromancy and sorcery.
However in the Bible Ezekiel 28:4 talks about Rulers and traders who through all sorts of means consult these Water spirits in order to get rich and powerful.
Again Water spirits also impacts on their victims the tendency to go nude. These Water spirits also alter the personality of the people the inhabitant. A decent person will all of a sudden also seem to see nothing when he or she exposes certain parts of his her body in public.
In addition the Water spirit is said to have been the spirit behind the sorts of people who go nude at naked beaches and temples.
Also it is the Water spirits and gods that strengthen themselves through human blood where they easily cause air, water and road accidents.
Finally, these Water spirits cause civil wars , ritual killing and all sorts of sickness.
