Toulez Manor

Toulez manor is an old manor outside of town. It is said that it is cursed. Now I know what your thinking, Curses are bad. However in this case. The curses here are said to give you what your heart wants, Then after you find what you want, You are given a Choice. The choice is 2 doors, One leads to death, while the other sets you up to get that desire deep in your heart. This is all done by touching a window in Toulez Manor. However being just a legend. No one has ever said what window it is. Maybe this legend was created because well, it is an old legend. A legend I have been told since I was a kid. So then came the day when my pals Nicole, and Ron came along with me and we were going to touch every window in that Manor. We were going to see if the myths were in fact true.

A little about Nicole. She is 23, Redhead and has a great build. If she wanted to she could easily be a model. However she is not one who wants to be objectified or be used to set unrealistic expectations of people. Currently she works as a bartender and is a semi- professional roller derby player. Her real dream is to write romance novels. Ron is 22. He is a graduate student at the local college. He is also a member of the Rugby team. He likes to party and have a good time. He doesn't fit the stereotypical college jock. In fact he has no idea what he wants to do when he graduates. "maybe I'll get a job as a truck driver, maybe ill be a teacher. Maybe I will start my own company. Truth is I just need to not be like everyone else.

Last Saturday was the big day. The day in which the 3 off us would go explore Toulez manor. Getting there was hard itself. It is not shown on any map and is hidden in the woods. We spent a good 2 hours walking in the woods before we even came close to finding it.

When we got to the manor, it was in ruins. graffiti on the building and several windows were smashed. "I don't like our starting point Nicole" said "yet I think we should keep going." and we did

We walked into the building and saw a huge stained glass window on the floor. We all walked on it, the floor started to shake. "OK so maybe all of this is true" I started to speak. "after all i mean look......." I was cut off. I have no idea what happend next, Nicole and Ron say the same thing. We have no idea.

Next thing I remember is waking up in a library. A library with tall bookshelves. Fortunately Nicole and Ron were still with me. "Ok" I said. "I have no idea were we are and tuthfully I do not care...I just want to get back home" They nodded in unison. Ron then spoke. " Getting home is probably the most important thing we can do." Nicole then spoke. "Judging by this place...I think the legends are in fact true. just look around. tall bookshelves, stained glass windows. Sure I would like to make the judgement about life and death. However I don't feel like I should and I do not think you guys want to either." Nicole was right. This adventure was not something any of us wanted. Ron then stood up. " Ok so were all in agreement here. we all want to get back home, yet look around. This is not a city library, we just can't walk out the front door." He was right, we couldn't find a door anywhere. "lets stick together here" I then said. "Considering you were crazy enough to do this adventure with me. I want to be with you till the end." We then walked towards the tall shelves and honestly we felt like ants. So small in a much bigger world. Eventually we got so frustrated. We pretty much gave up. "That's it" Ron screamed. "I can not believe this. you are one of the most motivated people I have ever met and your giving up. This is crap." he then slapped me. " i am sorry but I am not letting you do this to me." He was right I wanted to see what this was. I found out something and now I was going to give up. "your right" I replied. "I think I needed to regroup. now If I am lost I usually go to the information desk. considering this is a library there has to be one. "I really don't think this is going to work." I said "however it is better then nothing. I screamed. "Where can i get some information here." A voice soon said. follow the yellow carpet. A yellow carpet soon popped up. The 3 of us walked on it.

Then after our walk we found 4 people siting in chairs. They had to be from another world. One of them begin to spoke. "How did you find yourself in this area of judgment. please send one to speak..I will let you chose." The 3 off huddled. "I think I should do it" I spoke. "After all I got you in this mess. I will be the one who takes the punishment. I am sorry." Nicole and Ron smiled. Nicole then spoke. "there is something I still want to do...something I should have a long time ago." she then kissed me. "I am sorry but I may never see you again. I think you earned that." I smiled and then turned toward the ones sitting on the chair. The same person then asked. "What do you seek and why." I took a deep breath and then said "My friends and I wanted to explore the legend of Toulez and honestly we ended up here. Now we do not care about finding out our futures or our deaths. Rather we just want to go home." The 4 people sitting on the chair showed no emotion. One of them then spoke. "If you want to go home. you have to do one thing and One thing only. The 3 of you must use the window below your feet." Then 3 windows appeared. "You must trust us and each other a voice said" I looked up and the 4 people siting on a chair were gone.

"well that's a fine ending. I guess we will never find out why or how we ended up here. Truthfully I am scared. however I am not letting my fear stop me. Well here it goes.' I took one last step. "Wait a moment." Ron screemed. I looked up. "Yah" I said. "Thank you, for this journey. I am glad I am able to be here with you." he said. Nicole then repiled. "If we all survive this I will kiss you again." I smiled "I would like that." I then looked at the window. "Alight lets all go at the same time...To friendship" they both said "to friendship" "1 2 3" we all said and jumped. We feel into an abyss of sorts, That is all I remember. I then woke up outside the Manor with Ron and Nicole right next to me. "Some things are best not told. I think we have the secret of all secrets...lets keep it that way." They both smiled as we soon walked to watch the sunset.

Once again we none of us know what happened that day. Or where we were. The only thing that matters is we had each other and sometimes That is all you need.
