Immortal

In the beginning there was nothing then happened a blast " BOOM" and the whole universe came into existence just like i was born. let's start from the beginning

My name is Jack Ramirez and I am an immortal and this is my story, I was born on 14 April 1465, its been 800 years since i am alive i wasn't born an immortal just a tragedy happened that made me one, i tell you the story, I was a normal person who used to live in village with his wife and two kids and used to work at farm and sell some milk from my sheeps to earn money, everything i was good i could say pretty normal than one bad day something happened that changed the course of my life totally, I was gone to the market to buy some groceries but when i returned, I saw my wife and my kids lying in their pool of blood and i fall on my knees and tears starts to fall from my eyes I was shocked, sad, angry at the same moment, I hold the head of my wife and put it in my lap she was cold as ice and she was wearing the earrings i gave her on our anniversary then i turned towards my kids they looked like there were sleeping and there was still smile on their faces or maybe it was just my hallucinations i don't remember exactly, i put down my wife's head and went near to my kids there was still innocence on their faces like anytime they will wake up and say to me play with us father but they didn't wake up they were lying like a flower who got crushed under feet i couldn't saw them any longer i stood up wiped my tears and got out of house and then went to the nearest house there were not so many people so we had houses at some distance, I knocked and someone opened the gate it was selaine friend of my wife's, i try to ask her but words didn't came out of my mouth i tried harder she got it that there is something wrong she told me to take deep breaths and then tell her, i did the same and once i got my breath i told her what i saw she got shocked and almost fall on the ground.

"What! are you serious i just met her and kids and they were perfectly fine".

"I am saying the truth who would lie about death of his own family".

we walked towards my house and i told her to go inside because i couldn't see that again, she went and i heard a loud scream, i ran and went inside, I saw her sitting and sobbing in the corner away from the bodies, and when i saw them again i couldn't stop myself and i started crying, i screamed their names and to God why this happened. selaine said to me we have to inform the guards this is serious we have to inform them, but first we have to do their funeral.

I wasn't listening i was still crying and my cry deafened my ears, she shook me and i saw towards her with my tear filled eyes i could not see her clearly because of the tears but she told me again about funeral.

So here was I standing near the graves of people i loved the most in my life and now they are gone, what is the purpose of me living now i was thinking this when i thought struck my mind How the hell did it happen, i was in so much pain i forgot to understand what the hell happened. I ran towards the guards, in those times there were no police there used to be prison guards who handle this type of matters so i went to meet them and told them everything, they came to my home with me and inspected the whole crime scene and told me that they will tell me if they find anything and left.

I was standing alone in my house now looking like haunted house, i couldn't live here anymore every where is memories if them in every brick in every corner.

I started to living at a place near my home where i made a tent and took somethings to cook but in reality i wasn't hungry but selaine had told me that i had to eat in order to be able to find out who did this, its been 3 days but still no information from the guards now i am not going to wait anymore i am going to find out on my own, so I went inside my home once again and try to find something some proof anything at all i could find to know something then i saw a piece of cloth under the table i took it out it was a red colour coth with a dragon made on it, i instantly got who's is it, long time ago i used to be a thief before my marriage then i fall in love and left the group this was my group's logo, they were here they did this but why i had not seen any of them since last 7 years, i got so angry after seeing it i got out of house and sat on my horse and went i knew where i had to go.

I stopped the horse on side tied it with a tree near a forest, the last time i worked with them we used to hide everything we have stolen here, there is a hole inside land, here is it i knew exactly where it was because so many times i put my stolen things here i was a brilliant thief no one ever caught me. I saw inside but there was nothing all empty but wait there was a piece of paper i got it out and opened it, it was as follows:

"Hey, old friend how are you its good to see you back where have you been it took so long to find you almost 7 years but we found you like you used to say " A good is who finds Hidden". You took something that was mine you should not have now see what you made me do, I had to take something that was yours,

The paper fell from my hands and instantly i had a flashback moment in which in my last robbery before leaving all of it i robbed a precious stone that Sarkas wanted me to steel, it was so hard to steel so he sent me his best man and like everything i got it too but i didn't gave it to him, I took it with myself and left forever. It seems like my bad deeds have finally caught me and because of me my everything is gone my loved ones are gone just because of a stupid stone, people say true that your deeds always return, I got so much angry i promised myself that i will find everyone of them and they have to pay for it. I straight went to home and took a spade and went back to the house where i had buried my past i dug up my past from its grave and there was it some gold left from the stone which i sold, because i needed money to start a better life so i sold it and my weapons which i never wanted to see again but now i have to.

I took out my sword from sheath and cut my thumb and took an oath that i will not stop until i bury every one of them but first i have to find them so i took all the things and tied them in a cloth so people can't see them and again ran my horse this time towards the city because there they will be planning for new robbery, I went to every place i knew to find them but i could not maybe they have changed the places to meet because of a death rule passed by king that if a person get caught doing theft he will be condemned to death. I am going to the gold and silver market to find a clue, i was just riding my horse slowly looking here and there for some clue when my eye caught something there was some people standing in a group and talking, i got down from horse and walked to them and asked them what's the matter they told me that their was a robbery two days ago just near by at a jewellery shop and they left a note behind that they will be doing another robbery soon. Ohh so now they have started to warn people in advance they become so they have developed a pride that no one can catch them this mistake will help me to find them, i rubbed my hand over my sword's handle tied around my waist, said thankyou to them and left and took a room to stay a night there was no hotels at that time there used to be traveling cottages for travelers to rest i stayed in one of them and at night i planned that i will disguise as a rich merchant that have came from far away to sell his precious ruby and then they will have to come after me and that will be their end. Everything was planned i got out of cottage early morning and bought some rich silk clothes and some fake stones to spread the word normal people will not be able to tell the difference, it will work. I changed my clothes and bought a silk pouch in which i had put stones and came to the market and started to tell people that where i have come from and what i want to do and just as i thought the word spread like fire in the woods and then everyone was talking about a rich merchant who want to sell his rubies and stones although i had just said that i want to sell one ruby but people like spreading rumours.

Everything was ready and i was waiting for my prey, I had took a large room at rich people's colony where rich travellers come to stay its like the cottage i was in but very big and costly but i had to so they will believe me. I put the pouch under my pillow and slept, i was waiting for them and just as u have thought a person came and although i was wake i let him took the Pouch and leave, i instantly got up and followed my now i was in normal clothes which i wore so i could easily follow without getting noticed by anyone, I followed him from a distance if a normal person would have done that he would have caught by now, because we thiefs has eyes on back not literally but i knew how to walk without making any sound, i followed him he went into a dark ally were i went too and i found their new secret place to hide things, it was in a dark ally where no one would dare to go at night, under a rock in a blocked sewer pipe. I hide there nearby because they will come to take their theft, so days went but nobody came and i stayed there didn't moved from a second because i was determined to kill no matter if i die, otherwise there was nothing left to live also.

After 2 days at night i was slept when i heard a sound i woke up and there was they, they have come to their death but there was more people then i expected when i was with them we were five men but now there were 7 or 8 i couldn't saw clearly in dark but i couldn't fight them alone they will kill me easily and I won't die before them all my plan was failed and everything had gone to waste, i punched the wall near my in anger but suddenly i thought struck my mind and i was determined again, now what i thought was i will a bomb and kill of them at once, i knew how to make bombs i had made many to blast the walls but the problem was i couldn't blast it here or innocent people will die and I did not wanted that but there was no other choice so i made a bomb and planted it inside that very hole where they put money and was now waiting for them, the bomb had a thread that was coming to me and when they will come i will lit it so o waited and luckily they came, all of them i was ready for it and everything was set but i had to see them in eye when they die, i wanted to see fear of death in them, i got up and showed myself they instantly drew there sword and i already had lit the thread of bomb now i just had to waste their time.

"So, you came"

"I had too you took everything from me now you have to pay".

"How are you going to make us pay 1 Vs 7".

"You underestimated me again now you will pay for your deed"

"Go catch this man who betrayed his own kind".

"You can catch me but cannot stop your death its already in the way".

"What are you talking about" ( he laughed)

and in a matter of minutes bomb exploded and they all died in front of me with myself but that didn't matter because my mission was accomplished i had taken my revenge. But there something very wrong happened i had put so much dynamite in the bomb so they won't leave alive, I got blind in my anger and because of that i didn't assumed its impact and the bomb killed all of us with the whole neighborhood of innocent people children, women, men everyone died.

And something strange happened which i had never expected, in all of them there was an old witch who also got burned she didn't died immediately but she cursed whoever had done that will have to live for all eternity with pain and suffering, he will beg for death but death won't come for him. I instantly got alive my all wounds healed and from then i have been living with this pain of my loved ones death and the pain that i will never be able to see them again not even after that because i won't die, So that's my whole story that's how i become immortal.

I have tried so many things to die but nothing worked but now i have find a way there is an old church where is an old Well, there is a saying that who drinks water from it will get salvation. let's see if this works or not i don't have any hopes but i will try everything to go back to my family I can't live alone anymore its so painful. I came to the church and asked the pope about the Well, he told me that the Well is behind the church but it's so old it has dried up its has no water left in it. I took a deep breath and sat on a bench in church and prayed for the first time since my family's death i prayed for death of myself i cried and asked God to forgive me and asked him to give me salvation, i am so tired of living I don't want to live anymore i want to meet my children my wife, i cried and fell down on my knees and asked him to forgive me i have paid enough now let me go please and i got up and went to the well, i am going to jump in it even if i fell i won't die and maybe i will be forgiven and death will come to me and i will get salvation, i wiped my tears stood up on the boundary on Well, said love to my family and took a leap of faith.

"Hello father can you tell me exactly what happened."

"Officer, this man came to me and asked me about the Well of salvation and i told him that it has dried and he sat on a bench and i left. that's all i know. What happened".

"It looks like he jumped in it and died, we have recovered the body from well but there is something strange his fingerprint doesn't match the database it looks like he is from some different time, he has no record anywhere or maybe he is from another country we will check that, Thanks Father".

"Looks like God has finally gave him salvation, Officer, may his soul rest in peace".
