Science Fiction Fantasy Contemporary

Inter-galactic spacetime is home to utterly bizarre quantum entities, far beyond Enterprise Captains Kirk and Picard's final frontier mission, "Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before." "This speech began every episode of the series except the two pilot episodes: "The Cage" (which preceded Shatner's involvement) and "Where No Man Has Gone Before". It was also used to introduce episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but with the phrase "Its five-year mission" changed to "Its continuing mission" and the final phrase changed to the gender neutral "where no one has gone before".: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_no_man_has_gone_before

Albert Einstein is often quoted as saying, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." and "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." He also said, "What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter." Nikola Tesla wrote, "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." Big Bang, eternal return, ekpyrotic omniverse, black holes, white holes, lightness, dark energy, quanta, qualia, uncertainty, synchronicity, matrix hologram simulation, zombies, orchestrated objective reduction, 0, 1, or infinite gods, time travel, TOE? What crazy concepts will scientists and others think of next?: http://listverse.com/2013/05/04/10-brain-breaking-scientific-concepts/, http://listverse.com/2010/07/12/10-craziest-scientific-theories/

Despite Frank Drake's equation of high probability for extraterrestrial life and intelligence, Fermi's Paradox: "Where is everybody?" has a simple answer. New NASA research boosted galaxy estimates in the Cosmos tenfold to over 2 trillion and Earth has been intentionally shielded from any evidence of intelligent life by vacuum birefringence.: https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2016/hubble-reveals-observable-universe-contains-10-times-more-galaxies-than-previously-thought and http://www.businessinsider.com/climate-change-great-filter-fermi-paradox-aliens-2017-7

This transmission is from your far future parallel self, yet time too is another 'persistent illusion'. You're not going to believe what the worlds of tomorrow have in store so I'll try to bring you up to speed.

First, you should know about the Galactic Council, a well-intentioned but often chaotic assembly of myriad Milky Way species, not just Earthlings. Included are Vulcans, of course, Durangans, Algolians, Andorians, Arbazan, Arcadians, Ardanans, Ariolo, Benzites, Betazoids, Bolians, Bzzit Khaht, Caitians, Coridans, Deltans, Efrosians, Grazerites, Haliians, Hekarans, Ithenite, Kasheeta, Kazarites, Ktarians, Mazorites, Peliar Zel, Rigellians, Risians, Xelatians, Xindi, Zaranites, and countless others. At its core are the Archaic Assembly, or Cthulhu Old Ones as they're otherwise known, who have been space-time-farers basically forever. Unlike your United Nations Security Council, the Old Ones, also called Progenitors and Preservers, work for harmony among all species, not power struggles between competing ethnic and economic systems.: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Federation_members and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gW9m5_7avg

These are barely the tip of the proverbial iceberg with flora beings, fungus minds, nanoparticle silica cyborg clusters, and inconceivable plasma intelligence to challenge our capacity to comprehend them, until we evolve from our current limited state.

Opposite galactic peace and harmony are chaos factors, whose various aims include warfare promotion, profiteering by any means, including slavery, deception, and dominance over other species. Among these groups are Cardassians, Romulans, Klingons, Ferengi, the Borg, Breen, Tkon, Voth, Suliban, and Dominion. On your world, Archon reptilian shape-shifters have operated for millennia, mostly controlling Earth's history with its Zio-empire as hex powers behind the thrones. Some Klingons, Ferengi, and Borg are portrayed as friendlies, but how many do you dare turn your back on?: http://www.startrek.com/database_article/voth

To refresh your memory, here are some species summaries.

"The Cardassians are an extraterrestrial species in the Star Trek science fiction franchise. First introduced in the 1991 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Wounded", the species originated on the fictional Alpha Quadrant planet, Cardassia Prime. Cardassians were the dominant species in an interstellar empire known as the Cardassian Union during the 24th century, although they are not confirmed to have ruled any other species aside from, for fifty years, the Bajorans. The Cardassians later played a key role in the storyline of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series as allies of the Dominion in the Dominion War. Several Cardassian characters, including Elim Garak and Gul Dukat, are prominently featured.

The Romulans are an extraterrestrial humanoid species in the science fiction franchise Star Trek. First appearing in the original Star Trek series in the 1966 episode "Balance of Terror", they have since made appearances in all the main later Star Trek series: The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise.

The Klingons are a fictional extraterrestrial humanoid warrior species in the science fiction franchise Star Trek. Klingons are recurring antagonists in the 1960s television series Star Trek: The Original Series, and have appeared in all five spin-off series, along with eight of the feature films. Initially intended to be antagonists for the crew of the USS Enterprise, the Klingons became a close ally of humanity and the United Federation of Planets.

The Ferengi /fəˈrɛŋɡi/ are a fictional extraterrestrial race from the Star Trek universe. They first appeared in "The Last Outpost", the fourth episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987, during which they made first contact with the United Federation of Planets in 2364 on the planet Delphi Ardu, though they had been mentioned in the series' pilot, "Encounter at Farpoint". They and their culture are characterized by a mercantile obsession.

The Borg are a fictional alien group that appear as recurring antagonists in the Star Trek franchise. The Borg are a vast collection of "drones", or cybernetic organisms linked in a hive mind called "the Collective", or "the Hive". The Borg annex the technology and knowledge of other alien species to the Collective via a process of "assimilation": forcibly transforming individual beings into drones by violently injecting microscopic machines.

The Breen were a reclusive, powerful, and warlike humanoid race, native to the planet Breen in the Alpha Quadrant. Shrouded in mystery, the Breen were also one of the most underestimated races inhabiting that quadrant of space.

The Tkon Empire was a massive empire that existed over 600,000 years ago. The Empire had a population of trillions and was incredibly advanced technologically. The Tkon are rumored to have had the ability to move entire star systems, using planets as outposts for defense. Their empire collapsed not long after the Age of Makto when the central star of their home system went supernova.

The Voth were an ancient saurian Delta Quadrant species. They were originally native to Earth, with the dinosaur genus hadrosaurs fingered as a likely ancestor. A significantly advanced species, the Voth were cold-blooded creatures, had a superior sense of smell, and skin pigmentation which altered according to moods. (VOY: "Distant Origin")

The Suliban were a largely nomadic warp-capable humanoid species. They were notable during the mid-22nd century for their involvement as foot soldiers in the Temporal Cold War, which set them into conflict with several other civilizations including United Earth. Their distinguishing physical characteristic is their mottled, greenish-tinted skin. The Suliban are originally from Sector 3641, but their homeworld became unhabitable around the Earth year of 1851, and most of them became nomadic.

In the Star Trek universe, the Dominion is an interstellar state and military superpower from the Gamma Quadrant, composed of hundreds of dominated alien species. The Dominion is commanded by the Founders, a race of shapeshifters responsible for both the creation of the Dominion and all strategic decisions undertaken throughout its history. The Dominion is administered by the Vorta, clones specifically genetically engineered by the Founders to act as field commanders, administrators, scientists, and diplomats. The Jem'Hadar, also engineered by the Founders, are the military arm of the Dominion and one of the most powerful military forces in the galaxy during the Dominion's height."

During the Mesozoic Era, Archons had their golden age. Dinosaur society was a rigidly structured caste system with intelligence predominant, followed by ferocity, socialization, and brawn. The enormous cranial capacity of large predators accommodated specialized organs for both psychokinesis and telekinesis, literally 'mind movement' and 'distant movement'. Hence, erecting structures required little technology or dexterity. Natural and catastrophic erosion over a mere fraction of an eon have combined to nearly obliterate any traces of their work. What remains are unrecognizable and misinterpreted as geologic landscape. Their signature engineering project, dredging by brain power alone a Rocky Mountain canal to help drain an inland sea, was preempted by a Chicxulub astronomical event. By comparison, building the Khufu Pyramid was child's play.: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4913550/How-Great-Pyramid-Giza-built.html Word was the Grand Canyon had plans for a gaming mecca in the desert and a gala opening where they expected to really shake their tails.: https://www.newparadigm.ws/articles/prehistoric-advanced-civilization-is-this-the-evidence/

A vast alien armada arrived at the 3rd planet from deep space prepared to annihilate its inhabitants and claim it for their own. A survey of defenses found raw disunity and exploitable weaknesses. The hideous swarm anticipated little resistance to its lightning speed and intense fury of its attack. Their dominance was proven in previous encounters on other worlds. Earth's natural weaponry: microbes, bacteria, viruses, and prions, made short work of the invaders.

In your time stream the Galactic Council embarked on a Herculean multipronged effort to bring an Ice Age to Gehenna-Hades-Sheol. At first it was thought that a buffoon in the White House would create a temperature inversion, yet General Electric's shill Ronald Reagan proved oddly popular. Subsequent George Bushes provided some chill, but Donald Trump brought first frost to the nether world.

Another avenue got Theo Epstein to commission cyberneticist Doctor Noonian Soong to create undetectable androids so the Chicago Cubs could overcome a curse and finally win another championship.: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Noonian_Soong Midway through their 'miracle' season, some sportswriters and avid fans began to suspect foul play. However, barring any obvious giveaways, they chalked up their doubts to old Cubs thinking, but Albert Almora Jr., Jake Arrieta, Javier Báez, Kris Bryant, Willson Contreras, Carl Edwards Jr., Ian Happ, Kyle Hendricks, Jason Heyward, John Lackey, Jon Lester, Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, Kyle Schwarber, and Ben Zobrist all look mightily suspicious, if you watch them carefully. There are just too many 'J' first names, Juniors, Kyles, and A-Rs to be normal.

I'll bet you didn't know that the crews of Captain James T. Kirk, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Captain Kathryn Janeway, Captain Jonathan Archer, Captain Dylan Hunt, and Captain Gabriel Lorca all met briefly on Federation space station Deep Space 9. The various Enterprises, Voyager, Andromeda Ascendant, and Discovery were docked there simultaneously during a crucial time-sensitive mission to rescue Bajor from a yet unnamed menace. It was an embarrassing inter-series turf war affair, when Farscape, Firefly, Lexx, Babylon 5, Starship Troopers, Space Above and Beyond, and the entire fleet of both Battlestars Galactica, what to mention infinite Doctors Who, all converged, overriding protocol. The incident remains classified Above Top Secret, and will never air.

Just what are relevant factors of the quantum realm? Its basic measurement, Planck length, is defined by Wikipedia in this way, "In physics, the Planck length, denoted ℓP, is a unit of length, equal to 1.616199(97)×10 metres. It is a base unit in the system of Planck units, developed by physicist Max Planck. The Planck length can be defined from three fundamental physical constants: the speed of light in a vacuum, the Planck constant, and the gravitational constant." That is an error of scale vastly larger than even the one on https://www.earthfiles.com/. What's missing is a −35 after the 10.

"The Planck length is about 10−20 times the diameter of a proton", nearly unimaginably small. "Much like the rest of the Planck units, there is currently no proven physical significance of the Planck length. However, it is theoretically considered to be the quantization of space which makes up the fabric of the universe by quantum gravity theorists, also referred to as quantum foam. The Planck length is believed to be the shortest meaningful length, the limiting distance below which the very notions of space and length cease to exist. Any attempt to investigate the possible existence of shorter distances, by performing higher-energy collisions, would inevitably result in black hole production. Higher-energy collisions, rather than splitting matter into finer pieces, would simply produce bigger black holes. In some forms of quantum gravity, the Planck length is the length scale at which the structure of spacetime becomes dominated by quantum effects, and it is impossible to determine the difference between two locations less than one Planck length apart. The Planck area, equal to the square of the Planck length, plays a role in black hole entropy. The value of this entropy, in units of the Boltzmann constant, is known to be given by A / ( 4 ℓ P 2 ) {\displaystyle A/(4\ell _{\mathrm {P} }^{2})} {\displaystyle A/(4\ell _{\mathrm {P} }^{2})}, where A is the area of the event horizon. The Planck area is the area by which the surface of a spherical black hole increases when the black hole swallows one bit of information, as was proven by Jacob Bekenstein. If large extra dimensions exist, the measured strength of gravity may be much smaller than its true (small-scale) value. In this case the Planck length would have no fundamental physical significance, and quantum gravitational effects would appear at other scales. In string theory, the Planck length is the order of magnitude of the oscillating strings that form elementary particles, and shorter lengths do not make physical sense. The string scale ls is related to the Planck scale by ℓP = gs¼ ls, where gs is the string coupling constant. Contrary to what the name suggests, the string coupling constant is not constant, but depends on the value of a scalar field known as the dilaton. In loop quantum gravity, area is quantized, and the Planck area is, within a factor of 10, the smallest possible area value. In doubly special relativity, the Planck length is observer-invariant. The search for the laws of physics valid at the Planck length is a part of the search for the theory of everything. The size of the Planck length can be visualized as follows: if a particle or dot about 0.005 mm in size (which is the same size as a small grain of silt) were magnified in size to be as large as the observable universe, then inside that universe-sized "dot", the Planck length would be roughly the size of an actual 0.005 mm dot. In other words, a 0.005 mm dot is halfway between the Planck length and the size of the observable universe on a logarithmic scale. All said, the attempt to visualize to an arbitrary scale of a 0.005 mm dot is only for a hinge point. With no fixed frame of reference for time or space, where the spatial units shrink toward infinitesimally small spatial sections and time stretches toward infinity, scale breaks down. Inverted, where space is stretched and time is shrunk, the scale adjusts the other way according to the ratio V-squared/C-squared (Lorentz transformation)."
