"Are you coming tonight?" Lexi asked Rose, but it sounded more like, "you better come." "Yeah, Lexi, I'm coming, not gonna miss today," Rose said and hung up the phone with a sigh. Rose is the type of person who likes to stay alone, make time for herself. Enjoys one-on-one conversations and prefers to stay home on weekends rather than attending a party. Hence, she is an Introvert. But, the thing is she, framed herself as an Extrovert to avoid being called loony. She always tries to make new friends and communicate with them, go out to a party, and doing all the stuff an extrovert does. She always tries to dilate. Even though that makes her suffer yet, she does it. Rose is dark-toned beauty. She is not always positive but always there for Lexi. she has very long wavey hair. She is very beautiful, which boosts her personality. She is an independent girl. She isn't any burden to anyone. Lexi is an extrovert and she loves to make new friends, an extrovert and An Introvert who acts like an extrovert, a complicated relationship, but they both love each other. Rose unwillingly sat in her car after many futile attempts to avoid the party. she drove to Santa Monica. Within 45 minutes she reached her destination. There stands Lexi with her back facing Rose near a beautiful blaze. She sighed before going and giving Lexi a back hug. she turned back and hugged Rose. They both had a chat and giggled. Until one of Lexi's friends comes and started to talk to Rose. Rose was really uncomfortable but she tried to chat with that guy. three of them had some shots and chatted. "by the way Lexi. why don't we dance?" that guy asked. "Chris. I'm totally boosed. I don't think I can." Chris was quite disappointed. he slowly tilted his head to Rose's side. Her eyes were wide cause she just doesn't want him around her at all, simply because he was a new guy nothing special. She could deny him but as she was neither boosed nor exhausted, so she was lack of excuses. She was edgy. But she accepted to dance with him, just to make him okay. they both went to the dance floor. hips moving side by side, her hands wrapped around his neck and his around her waist. She felt magical, she was totally fine with him now. "am not shy I'll say it. you are really beautiful." he said as he tugged a few of her hair strands behind her ear. "ah! thanks." she was totally hesitant now. " can I say you something?" he asked as he let her go. He took a deep breath and said "I love Lexi. but don't know how to make her mine. will you help?" is that is why you asked me to dance with you?" she asked being suspicious. He nodded with a pang of guilt. "am sorry" She was filled with anger yet she controlled and thought that he was a genuine guy, so you thought they both will make a good pair. "just try to confess your feelings." "what if-" he was about to say something but she interrupted him and said "no PAIN no GAIN." he giggled at her boosed figure. "wow. looks like you both became really close. cool!" Rose found Lexi standing behind her. her voice was suspicious. "yeah Lexi, we were chatting and then we became close. she is really good." Chris winked at Rose. Lexi was silent and gave them a fake smile. "Rose, don't you think we have to leave? it's getting really late." Rose obeyed her and stood. "meet you again." Chris said as Rose "it was great that we met." she exclaimed. They both started to walk towards Rose's car. they both got into the car and decided the Lexi is gonna stay with Rose tonight. "so. Rose, how is Chris?" she asked making Rose a bit uncomfortable. "well, he is really good." "boyfriend type?" she interrupted Rose. "surly." "good. I like him." rose was excited as hell. she jumping in the car seat. "girl? what happened?" Rose hugged her and pecked her cheek. Rose was boosed and was subconscious, so was Lexi. Lexi's eyes were about to close cause she was drowsy. she shut her eyes and they both met an accident. ~after several days.~ Rose opened her eyes only to find herself in a hospital where a nurse was sitting beside her checking her health reports. "she is so lucky to get out of that accident and still alive." the nurse mumbled but loud enough that Rose heard it. "but why isn't she waking up?" nursed mumbled again and looked at Rose. her eyes widened looking at Rose and she ran towards a doctor yelling "sir, she is awake." Rose couldn't utter a word as she was in pain. "an accident? when? where? HOW?" many questions were running in Rose's mind as the doctor came. "holy god! she is awake." he said looking at her being amazed. with all the energy left in, she asked "doctor. Lexi?" doctor bit his lower lips nodding from side to side. "am sorry. we couldn't save her." he said. Rose was about to burst out. she was sobbing. Lexi's death took over her pain. the doctor said her right leg is fractured and her jaw is broken. she has to be in hospital for a month at least. a month passed. the whole month Rose was crying. She knew she couldn't do anything. yet, she blamed herself for Lexi's death. "why? why was I that excited. if I wasn't excited then Lexi and I would be so happy now. " these thoughts ran in her mind over and over again. she got discharged from the hospital. The first thing she did was to run to the grave of Lexi. She was sobbing that she started to shiver. She was becoming pale. "I hope I had a chance to save you. I hope I didn't drink too much that night. I hope we didn't go to the party that day." She kept saying these words and suddenly she heard a voice. "want me to make your dream come true and send you back to that day?" the voice was deep and manly too. She quickly turned back only to see a tall white guy. He was wide, he seems like a greek. "stop joking around." She was furious and she started to walk towards the exit. "So, if you weren't drunken, if you didn't jump like a crazy person then she would be alive. if you were you she would e alive. wouldn't she, Miss. Rose?" he said as shivers ran through her spine. "who are you? how do you know all these things?" he was smiling like a psychopath. "let me introduce myself. I am KRONOS. few people also call me Cronus." she was shocked. "you mean that you are greek mythology gods Kronos?" he simply nodded. "the god of time?" "well, you know about me good. but that isn't me. it's my Grandfather. I was tired of Asgard so I came out. Darkworld or you call it hell adopted me. I was bored there too so I came to the human world. hoping that you will entertain me. I am gonna send you to the same date when Lexi died. you have to save her. you have like 5 chances." he said as Rose was shocked and shaken up. "no thanks," she said walking away from Cronus. "am not asking you if you want it or no, but I am saying that you are going to be doing this." shivers ran through her spine. "what do you mean?" she asked in a worrying tone. "I am going to send you to the same day. you have to rescue yourself and Lexi. only then you will come out of the time loop I've set. and listen, the day keep on repeat whenever one of you dies." she was still in shock. but she accepted. he asked her to close her eyes she did it and within seconds she found herself in her bed on the same date and time. "so now, all you have to do is save yourself and Lexi. understand?" he said but he wasn't visible. "and you are going to enjoy. right?" "yeah! you have 5 lives. if you die 5 times you are dead and the game ends there." he said in a cold voice. "it's a game for him, but this is my life. I have to save Lexi and I have to save myself at the same time." she thought to herself. "let the fun begun." she took her phone calling Lexi, "Lexi? where are you?" she was being worried. "am at my house, getting ready for the party." "Lexi, I want you to come to my house, let's enjoy ourselves here." Lexi was silent for few seconds but she agreed to it. soon she reached Rose's house. "you made it." rose hugged her. they spent a lot of time together, and Lexi thought she will sleep in Rose's room. she was sleeping and suddenly Rose heard a person screaming. "your house caught fire." she was yelling it. she woke up to check the house was burning. Lexi woke up due to streaming heat spreading around the room, she got into total consciousness and tried to run downstairs but the floor was on fire, they had no way to run she tried to jump from the window Rose tried to stop her but she jumped. unfortunately, fell on the fence of the garden. Rose also jumped from the building but she chose the other window. she was safe but Lexi died. "so sad! you couldn't save her but the thing is you still have 5 lives as you aren't dead." he said. she was sobbing holding Lexi's hand. "restart," he said and disappeared. she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Again she found herself in her bed at the same time. "if bringing her here caused my house to burn then let's go to the party and not drink. that would be fine." she thought to herself. she got ready and went to the party and found Lexi standing next to the ocean. she ran towards her "Lexi?" "thank god you made it," Lexi said handing her a drink. "here," she said. "Lexi, I can't drink cause I promised to myself not to do so," she said in a confident tone. "just one glass, nothing will happen," Lexi assured but Rose was stubborn. "no Lexi," she yelled at her trying not to fail this time. they both stayed there until 11 pm and Rose insisted Lexi walk with her to the parking lot so that they can go home. Rose was driving in full conscious and then they saw an accident. Rose quickly got out and trying to help that person. Lexi was still in the car just then Rose saw a truck coming towards the car, she ran towards Lexi and started the engine, and got out of the road. "thank god, now I could save you." she said. just then the person who they thought met with an accident came to them and started asking for money. Rose gave them all the money they left with, but Lexi who was subconsciously hit a guy trying to save herself, but that made them pissed. they pulled Lexi out by her hair and pulled out a knife from their pocket. "noo." Rose shouted and the guy holding Rose placed his palms on her mouth so that she couldn't make any sounds. "trying to be stubborn. huh?" the with the knife said and stabbed her right through the stomach, which caused her to yell in pain. Blood was all over the woods. she was screaming in pain until one of the bad guys in that group covered her mouth. she fell and that knife guy came towards Rose. He lifted her head and cut her neck making her whimper in pain. they left them to die. "god! you've got no fun. come on Rose making something that excites me." Cronus said. Rose was furious. "Now, you are left with 4 lives." "RESTART," Rose said in a confidant tone. "3rd try," he said and send her to the same time again. "staying home, didn't save us. going didn't save us. then how?" she stood up fixing herself. "you going to the party?" Cronus asked. "yes." he was confused. "but you just died. the reason was you went to the party." "or. the reason was I decided to come to my house." she was clear about what she was about to do. "clever. huh?" his voice was giving her chills. "look I can help you, Rose." "you can? how" she was excited. he had a smirk on his face. "well, I will help you by telling you what gonna come up next, and give you 2 choices, you just have to choose one. easy. right?" "what's the trade?" he smiled "smart. well, half of your life. " she was shocked and shook her head to no. " I know I will come out of this thing. I don't need your help." she went to the party and saw Lexi. she went to her "Lexi? I need to ask something can we get out of here, go somewhere, spend the whole night in your house?" she was quite shocked by what I said, "dude, you wanna make me an introvert too?" "baby let's get out of here, let's go to your favorite place." she quickly accepted. they both went to a place where no one comes only Rose and Lexi knows that place. it was in the woods. "the offer is still available." Cronus said. she looked at Lexi. Lexi was normal, she heard nothing. "only you can hear me, and see me. so now say, yes, or no?" he was manipulating Rose but she was fixed that she ain't gonna give up on her life. they reached a house, it used to be Lexi's grandpa's house. they went in only to see the persons who killed them lately sitting there drinking and counting the money they stole. "hey who are you guys? what are you doing here?" Lexi was furious. rose tried to control her but again kicked a guy. "she kicked me bro. kill her." they ran into the woods but they caught them and killed them. she opened her eyes on her bed again, "hey you have like 2tries left. what are you gonna do? where are you gonna go?" his voice was filled with humiliation. "trade." his face clearly said that he got what he wanted. "look into my eyes." she did it. "done." he said. "done?" "Yeah. am gonna help you now." "what's gonna come next?" "1.call your Lexi here, or 2. you go there." she was now furious. "both are gonna kill us." she chuckled and said, "chose wisely." she took a deep breath and called Lexi. "hey Lexi, come over." she hung up the phone. within no time Lexi reached. "let's go out. I wanna go somewhere." Lexi nodded and followed her. "where?" Rose didn't reply. "call Chris." "how do you know him.?" Lexi asked. "do it. and confess him too." soon Chris reached and Rose asked him to take Rose and Lexi somewhere safe. he took you to his house. they were chilling but Rose's eyes were stuck at the clock. "are you in hurry Rose?" "no," she said. suddenly there was news on tv. "a criminal escaped from the prison be aware." he was in their place. suddenly they heard a bang on the door. Chris opened it and he saw the criminal. she stabbed him and came towards us and took our phones. "what's next?" she asked, "fight or run either way he's gonna die." that criminal went to check on the police and then Rose said Lexi to run. "No matter what just run." Lexi nodded and she ran. The criminal was running towards her just then Rose kicked him right on the face which made him lose his consciousness. police came in and arrested him. "you made it. Rose. thanks for the entertainment." Cronus said and left. Rose's eyes were filled with tears and she hugged Lexi. "we are safe Lexi. WE ARE SAFE." she screaming in happiness. Lexi hugged her tighter. "thanks for saving me, baby." THE END.
