Adventure Fantasy Mystery

Once a simple man without a past or one that was an actual past. One who has no future or one that he desires to have and wants a different one altogether.

His book learning came with a price, more self-taught than he's willing to admit and can show you the way to the universe and each planet as they appear on a clear dark night.

His own ambitions are central and basic. He knows that life is too short, and he feels having a heart to care for others is his own choice.

He was out watching a meteor shower, passing through galaxy at lightning speed, when one piece of a meteor happened to make its way towards him, steering off course and knocking him in the head hard.

It threw him for a loop, and he landed by a nearby wall with his legs upward and laying on his back crooked. He was out for what seemed like an eternity, then he shook his head to try and wake up but seemed to be stuck there.

He was not sure what had happened and finally was able to sit upright after he maneuvered himself. He was shaken and was dizzy, with a major headache, noticing his hands were glowing.

Wait!!!! Glowing hands? His glowing hands. Wait!!!! His glowing hands??? "How had his hands become glowing hands?" Boy, were they starting to become hot to the touch, yet nothing was smoldering or burning. As the glow faded, it became magnetic, and metal objects were being drawn to him. It was unimportant at first, then automobiles were drawn to his hands, and they were being pulled to him not he to them.

It was as though he was rooted in one spot, while the objects were drawn to him like a metal detector. He was running when he saw that the ground was farther away from him. He eventually lost sight of it as he was now above buildings and other structures below.

So here was a simple basic man who had at least one power, magnetic hands, if not his fingers. He could jump up and float into the air but coming down was tricky. He was at the limits of Earths outer atmosphere when he bounced off it and headed straight back to where he was when he started.

He ran towards that intersection, heading into oncoming traffic. He neither slowed down, nor stopped in hopes of finding out what all his one new power allowed him to do. The floating part was a flaw, or a side effect of these magnetic hands deal.

Not sure what to do next, he swerved into vehicles and was finally slowed down by the weight of all the metal objects he had gained as he passed each.

He stopped long enough to place his hands under his armpits and the metal objects fell onto the ground in a huge pile. Twisted and mangled, they no longer served a purpose or could be identified as any one individual object. They melted in one big ball.

He was not sure how to take this as a good sign. He was unsure how to handle this mess. As he was in deep thought, someone yelled out, "Do your worst, Doctor Metals!!!!!" He turned his attention and was able to see who had said that and which direction it came.

He flashed his hands towards them, with all his might, the vehicle headed quickly, and several people were wrapped up in twisted metals. Doctor Metals, formerly known as a simple man, was about to show these people, this city, this place that had tormented him endlessly how they would like it if they were the ones being tormented.

The minute that some other people felt it, they too were turned into ones with powers, Mr. Rainjock, Ms. Earthquivers, and Siress Lethal Locks.

These three individuals were not aware they had been affected by the same meteor as Dr Metals. Dr. Metals was not amused at the idea of sharing his newfound freedom and went to them to see who the easiest person was to defeat, the weakest of them all.

The Rainjock struck first but was thrown clear of Metals and was knocked unconscious. Earthquivers shook the ground with a loud booming voice, but the loose structure fell and knocked her unconscious. Last Lethal Locks swung her locks of thick golden hair towards Metals, only to strike herself and knock her unconscious.

Dr Metals raised increasingly more metals from anything and everything that was within the reach of his metallic magnetic hands in hopes of burying the city that had caused him so much shame.

Then in wake of this event, Dr Metals was hit with the same metals and was thrown deep into the core of the Earth as the moment had become the end of such a new inexperienced person with powers.

No one has seen any of them to this very day and they won't be missed either. Of course, another meteor shower happens, and this awakens them from wherever they may be at this moment.

The city was filled with fear and trembling. The city that had been a battlefield of endless removal and tireless rebuilding, had returned to peace and prosperity, and was not willing to change for anyone else no matter the cost or the price that needed to be paid.

We knew that this was never going to last forever. This sense of four people who were transformed into something sinister and evil because of their wanting to become something else than what they were meant to be before.

"If this is to last for much longer then how it will be when the box of Pandora is accidentally opened and all of Hades opens up to reveal the mess and chaos it can deliver on those who either know and don't care or those who don't care?" "Even if they know and care to handle this, then they would never be a match for this and would bow down to pressure placed on them by those who tried and failed to be."

The city sleeps and is not fearing the things that are inevitable or that could happen when its defenses are its weakest.

Not one person will admit it, and no one will admit defeat under any circumstances.
