My story is entitled The Adventure in a desert town.
Once upon a time, the Police were after Mr. Nobody a smuggler who had escaped when the Police captured the rest of his gang in a desert town called Anansekrom. It was only the boys who knew how Mr. Nobody looks like so they were to help the Police to arrest him. Mr. Nobody was very tall in structure,he rude and cruel.
Also due to the bad temper and cruel nature of Mr. Nobody the elders of the community often disliked him.
Mr. Nobody was often chased by the Police for offences that he might have committed. He sometimes encounters theft cases because he steals to make a living he does not earn enough money to look after his children and family.
As and when they were starting again a coastguard came along riding a white camel and a horse. The landguard sometimes rides both the horse and the camel. Also the answer to the Police officer questions he said had been a car travelling at a high speed on the untared road to the El Phatt community by telephone said the officer in charge so they ought to be able to stop him quickly.
Mr. Nobody could not be controlled because he was very strong and mascular and could fight his enemies at all time .
Mr. Nobody never liked the desert because there is scarcity of water and food. Mr. Nobody also commented about the misuse of electricity,he added that electricity must be used wisely.
It is Mr. Nobody who often sleeps with eyes opened. Sometimes Mr. Nobody is attacked by the mafias within the community due to the fact that they dislike his attitude and they want him dead at most times.
Everyone at Anansekrom desert knows that Mr. Nobody is a criminal of some sort and can hardly be arrested by both the Police or the military.
They also think that Mr. Nobody often uses evil charms to escape from the Police whenever they are about to arrest him for all sorts of evil deeds within the community.
In addition, we must go along and see it's not very far from here. Also we can get there before dark.
As noted they drove off and went following the line of the Canal on their right. Also on the left was nothing but an empty desert and in the distance was a line of hills. they gave all sorts of namby-pamby excuses because the distance was too long we were not willing to go. Also just before reaching El Phatt which was a collection of hunters hut and some other tents of the landguards and coastguards.
There was an eye witness that another vehicle branches off to the West of the road. They stopped and Prince Somebody declared that Mr. Nobody had gone to the West.
Mr. Nobody had his vehicle and he was noted as a good driver.
Others also argue that Mr. Nobody often dress shabbily within the community that he lives with his family. He much often drives on the desert sandy road.
At times it is Mr. Nobody who drives on the desert sandy road to attack innocent civilians to rob them of their money and other belongs.
Mr. Nobody can never be trusted at most times, because he easily kills and maim innocent civilians.
Also indeed it was clear from the marks of the tyres on the desert road which was an untared road.
The officer by then said that was that. The road they were heading towards goes to Jordan and Israel.
The nearest Police Post at their service was at Tel Aviv ,the capital of Israel by then that was almost seventy or hundred miles away. The rest in a desert road. Again he can almost anywhere on the road.
It was realized that his car can be followed said Prince Somebody. His reply was absolute Yes, but the distinct was under the control of the Frontiers ev. It was their business now as known by everyone.
Another youn man mentioned that he will go to El Phatt on that dessert and sandy road and give some information.
Almost all the three must better wait for him there and then come back to the Suez canal with him.
During the moment that the Police officer had driven off the boys looked carefully at each other.
At last their thoughts were all the same and they began to laugh as they realised what actually happened to them.
How much petrol do we have.? asked Prince Somebody. They needed enough petrol in order to drive the vehicle on the dessert road.
Not alot, answered Wendy. We shall have to go to El Phatt and get some into the vehicle. Mohammed another man of the desert did mention that we must not forget the examination which was the most serious of the three.
We all went back to Egypt through the desert ,till the next month. Almost each and everyone spent the night at the Suez canal.
All right then agreed Mohammed. We can not get back by tomorrow night. It was now quiet dark within the community.
However there was no room and the stars were clouded entirely over a period of time.
As can be noted,it was easy to go almost a few yards down the Israel road and wait till the Police returned from El Phatt at that moment. The young man called out loudly in the desert but it came to no avail,he got no response. It was at that moment that the young boys had driven through the desert to the ferry.
The young boys drove in a slow speed until they reached the ferry.
The boys went on and soon the sound of his car almost died away.
With some sort of guilty feelings the boys drove to El Phat and then succeded in getting some fuel which was petrol.
Finally they came back and went almost Eastwards along the the road to Israel.
Behind them was the Suez canal in the desert, comfort and a home.
Lastly as they moved forward there was in front of them a dark unknown the famous reset of Sinai behind a mountain.
