My story is titled the Athlete Abeiku Jackson discovers that the grass isn't actually greener on the other side due to his encounter with bees and also he lost in the Olympics without a a gold medal but rather a bronze medal.
The Athlete Abeiku Jackson was from Ghana and he was very good in swimming,he often swims alot in his home country Ghana.
Once upon a time, the young Athlete Abeiku Jackson had an encounter with bees , before the Olympics.
During his encounter with bees Abeiku Jackson and his friends walked home full of some sort of regret and sorrow.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends went to the forest in search for honey it was at that instant that they had an encounter with bees.
It can be noted that Abeiku Jackson and his friends needed honey to sell to the public and also for personal consumption.
Sometimes Abeiku Jackson and his friends made history by bringing home honey for sale and for human consumption. This sale of honey made them earn enough income to fend for themselves and also pay their school fees.
However , Abeiku Jackson and his friends did not blame anyone at all. Also their main concern was however to get well and then fit by the following day.
As usual it can be noted that both boys and girls at school often ask questions at all times. We can possibly ask that What answers would we give possibly.? What would the teachers do possibly.?
Some teachers often stand us before the entire school and they beat Abeiku Jackson and his friends due to the fact that they went for honey hunting , whilst they should be doing homework in their various houses.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends cried out allowed because they never liked the sort of corporal punishment that was being inflicted on them.
They argued that the beatings and the corporal punishment can cause ill health and other sickness to these students.
It was at that instant that they were sad indeed exactly.
In addition , whilst we were still thinking of this ,my sister came out of the bush at the back of our house and then saw an appearance ,we were all crying by then.
My sister was then shocked by then and she dashed in to tell her mother.
Most of us then feared the worst at all times.
Also my sister was very worried as to why it took me a long time before coming back home.
I mentioned to her that we went for honey hunting due to that some of the teachers got annoyed and jealous that they started beating us and they inflicted some sort of corporal punishment on us.
In order to solve the severe corporal punishment inflicted by these teachers and the beatings Abeiku Jackson and his friends made a Police Report on this issue for some of the teachers to be arrested they also filed a lawsuit against their teachers for beating them. They do not like the way and manner that these teachers maltreated them and the sort of beatings they inflicted on them.
Actually when mother came out Abeiku Jackson was standing alone almost shivering with some sort of fever and fear. My father was not in and in this he was lucky for he was a severe man and would have possibly whipped me there entirely.
Most of us heard a shout coming from Prince house due to the fact that there were some sort of stubborn students living within his house.
Some of the students then shouted that Prince had fainted. However if only one could possibly faint too then ,he could have his father's sympathy.
He did not faint at all.
Again he was laid on the mat and then covered with many clothes so that he will possibly become warm and be then cured from his illness.
The medical doctor of the nearby hospital was sent for but he did not come to me immediately since he was by then treating Prince out of illness of fainting .
The medical doctor gave Abeiku Jackson medicine to lick in order to possibly cure him out of his illness.
The doctors medicine was very sweet by then. I realized that the medicine was mixed with honey.
Almost every part of his body was actually rubbed with some kind of medicine and I felt sticky.
Again in about thirty minutes I was stick all over the place.
As noted within a little time after Abeiku Jackson felt asleep and then woke up in the morning completely recovered.
Abeiku Jackson then realized that almost all the swellings on his face and his entire body has completely disappeared in his sleep.
It was noted that Abeiku Jackson then looked into the mirror and saw that he has recovered from his illness.
Again as Abeiku Jackson got ready for school he wondered what had actually happened to the others. It was just then that David came in looking almost happy. We both moved on to Prince house. Apart from the bandage around his feet he didn't know it was the same boy who had been very ill and had fainted the night before.
We were almost satisfied that nobody could possibly hear of our adventure at school entirely.
As it was unknown to us however the news of the adventure had possibly gone ahead of us to the entire school.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends walked into the school as usual as if nothing had happened.
I again noted that both the boys and girls burst into laughter and a song.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends discovered that the grass isn't greener on the other side due to the fact that although they were expecting to get for themselves some honey but they were stung by the bees since they were not so lucky.
Lastly with high hopes ,Abeiku Jackson and his friends travelled overseas for the Olympics.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends who were also athletes were expecting to win a medal either gold, silver,or bronze, but they came out with only a bronze medal.
Finally Abeiku Jackson then realized that the grass isn't greener on the other side as observed during the Olympics because these Athletes could not win a gold medal or silver medal for their country but rather a bronze medal.
Abeiku Jackson and his friends who were Athletes were given cash prizes, they were expecting greener pastures since they then travelled to a developed country to earn for themselves the bronze medal in order to fend for themselves.
