Hidden Vaults of Library of Congress, Washington DC

Deep in the lower levels of the library of congress about a mile from the Presidential railway that travels below Washington. The library of congress holds a hidden vault that was created by an alliance with the Grays in the early stages of the Library halls. A hidden level was developed to hold an assortment of books that hold a mystical aura that could ruin the world we live in.

Professor Kurt Madsen a Caucasian man with glasses and two degrees in English and American History and received a masters in Folklore. He wears a dusky brown polo shirt and khaki pants beneath a pair of hiking boots. He is joined by his girl f friend Ana Kim and her brother Gordon Kim. Ana being a marine biologist out of University of Hawaii and her

brother who was a former Marine Recon sniper and mechanic. The three met one another

while Madsen was looking into Polynesian Folklore for his graduate degree. Ana and Gordon are twins and both are of Native Hawaiian heritage. Ana and her brother are wear the same dress as Madsen but Gordon has a Adidas polo tee shirt.

Stepping in after hours the trio meet a gnome-like man with Ben Franklin glasses known as Barrett Minsky, he serves currently as the curator of the hidden vaults. Dressed in a dress shirt and bow tie, Minsky greets the trio of scholars.

“Greetings Professor Madsen, Dr. Kim and Gunner Sergeant Kim, I am Barre Minsky I was told by Elisabeth Amberst that you could help me figure out what is happening down here. If you follow me we can get started. Do you have the necessary gear provided by Dr. Jinn?.”

Gordon steps forward pushing a library cart with a few boxes on it. “Dr. Minsky, Dr. Jinn has provided with the necessary gear you requested but I have no idea how some of the stuff works. I did not get enough time to read the instructions.”

“Most of it is developed by my people so it goes beyond your comprehension of what it does but never fear it is easy as baking a cake. Please come this way.” Minsky takes the lead as the others follow him deeper into the library halls as he leads them he rambles on about the history of the US Library of Congress.

Water-Logged

Traveling through the library halls the party comes to the lower areas as the sounds of a test run for the Presidential Railway passes and rambles the library halls. Stepping deeper into the darkness the sounds of running water seem to be echoing through the halls. “Oh No. Quickly follow me down this hallway.' comments the concerned curator

Moving quickly through the lower levels, Madsen and the others spot water-logged floors as they take on water. “This is not good.” comments, Gordon.

“What do you need us to do Dr. Minsky?” questions Ana

Open up the box marked, Vacuum 4 and pull out the vacuum cleaner.” orders Dr. Minsky

Following his instructions Ana with the help of Madsen pull out a water vacuum cleaner and place a set of rubber boots on their feet. Gordon looks astonished at the hydro-vacuum cleaner and the fishermen rubber boots in the box.

Minsky looks at the astonished tools of the trade. “We've had water issues before so my people created special crates that carries more than expected inside them. Pretty Cool isn't it.”

It works the same way as the hydro-vacuum cleaners used in maintenance world today.

Quickly get it set up it runs on a lithium car battery and place it on the ground.

Following his instructions Gordon and Madsen with Ana looking on activate the floor cleaner.

That starts to suck up the water-logged floors though a few books have been damaged by the water.

Voom Thrash Voom

Twenty minutes later

The water-logged floors are quickly vacuumed up as Minsky starts to write a report of the damaged books with the aid of Ana. Once the damaged reports are completed the heroes begin to go further down the halls. “So what happened a water main break, Dr. Minsky or something else?.”

“Its hard to say, Professor Madsen but I guess we will find out soon enough. Though I need to file a report when I am done here with the public water utility department if indeed it is a water main break. ”

“Its a Darn shame how does books were damaged. Oh well we can fix them up. Please follow me.” Minsky quickly walks deeper into the library halls.

“I know you are a bookworm, Kurt but I think Dr. Minsky has been spending too much time down here.” comments with a whisper Gordon

“You may be right Gordy. But he has high contacts to know the Admiral's Wife.”

“True.”

The screams of battle and the sounds of guns firing off are heard by Madsen and the others

“This does not sound good, boys.” comments Ana as she opens a dark duffel bag on the library cart..

Cries of Battle

Ana hands out a taser gun to Madsen and a desert eagle handgun to her brother. Carrying a Taser for herself the trio follow the cries of battle. Coming to a library hall the team watches

as a long brown haired native American calling out ancient text to what appears to be a display of the 1874 Red Range war between Native Americans and homesteaders. Minsky joins his guests as his eyes are astonished at what he sees. “This in not possible, that man

seems to be replaying the Red River Range War of 1874 but his antics are not possible.”

“He actually must be reading about the Golem and directing his interpretation of the range war but how is that possible Dr. Minsky?” Comments an astonished Madsen

“The only possibly is he opened a time portal and a portal that creates a Golem in his vision.”

“How do we stop it Doc?” questions Gordon

“I have no idea but I assume if we can get the book out of his hands than we can shut the book which opened a time portal.”

“Dr. Minsky, do your magic. Gordy stop that Golem and do your soldier of fortune thing.

Ana you are with me lets try and stun that guy.” The heroes advance the battlefield as the

Native American sorcerer spots the advancing heroes. Gordon charges after the Golem and opens up on him with his handgun.

The Golem turns as he is directed by the mysterious figure who opened the time portal. “I, Isa Tai order you to attack the infidels. For the Comanche people we must regain our home land. This I Command.”

The clay paper mache Golem walks in the direction of Gordon who fires a series of HCS .44 shells at the Golem which pierces its armored skin. “Eat this Pinata.”

BAM BAM BAM

Meanwhile Ana and Madsen flank the sorcerer under the foggy skies cast by Minsky. Kurt, who is Isa Tai?” Both raise their taser guns.

“He was the spiritual leader that caused the turmoil in 1874, but I guess this guy thinks he is the new improved spiritual leader.”

Moving closer the couple fires off their modified Taser Pistols created by Dr. Jinn which fires off a blue laser like circled ray at the sorcerer. Turning quickly, Isa Tai known by his real name Benton Qua-nah spots the young scholars shooting at him with their Taser guns. “Who dares to interfere with I, Isa Tai!”

“Our names are not important put down that book, Sorcerer!.” Yells Madsen

“You are dealing with powers far more Powerful...NORM!”

“Than I guess we are anti-power people, Sorcerer.”

“Than feel my might...NORM!” As Isa releases a series of electrical bursts at the heroes.

Zap Zap Zap

The electrical current pushes back Madsen and Ana. Minsky release a sonic blast on the

Sorcerer. Knocking Isa off balance. “Where are you mage! I know you are out there!”

Isa falls to the ground losing the book he was holding as he somersaults backwards to stand again.

“This Library is Off Limits of your Kind Sorcerer! Yells Minsky at the Comanche spiritual leader.

Minsky release another series of offensive blasts at Isa Tai. The two mages fight a battle of sorcery between themselves.

Madsen grabs the book before Isa can retrieve it and tosses it to Ana. “Ana close that damn book.”

On those words Ana fires her taser pistol at the book putting in flames. “Be Quiet! This Library is closed.”

NOOO! Yells Isa as he watches the book catch on fire.

Throwing a color spray mist in the air. Isa Tai runs deeper into the lower level of the

Library of Congress. Madsen begins to chase him but slips as Isa throws a vial on the ground forcing his opponent to slip in his pursuit.

Slip Thud

“We will meet again Norms! Echoes Isa as he disappears into the darkened halls of the hidden library vault.

The trio rejoins each other as the paper mache Golem catches fire as the book burns on the ground. Gordon helps Madsen up as the two try to find Isa but instead hear the loud Voom of a steam locomotive on the presidential railway.

“That was unexpected, I guess our sorcerer friend had a toy locomotive with him?” smirks Gordon at Madsen.

Epilogue:

Gordon and Madsen are joined by Ana and Minsky. Minsky shows a look of concern as they too hear the steam locomotive pulling away. “That man called himself Isa Tai, I fear we have not seen the last of him. I have some bad news.”

“What happened?”

“That lunatic stole several books of dark magic and as you can see he had a plan of escape.”

“What does that mean, Doc?”

Ana steps in after hearing the news before her brother. “ It means Gordy that he can alter history with the dark magic books he stole. Fortunately the time portals only occur every three moons.”

“It would have been nice Dr. Minsky; if you told the Admiral of these time travel books. Now we

have a time bandit sorcerer loose along with other shadows in our closets out there.” angry speaks Madsen.

“I did not expect this to be the reason behind our problems here in the US Library of Congress. I must contact Father Monroe at the Vatican Archives and Elisabeth in Glasgow. If you excuse me.” Dr. Minsky leaves the others behind as he reaches for his sat-phone.

“What did he get away, Ana?” questions Gordon.

“Anything that deals with Comanche failures. The more dangerous portions like the American Civil War and both World Wars were left behind.”

Well just shows he is obsessed with Comanche failures Lets get out of here this place is starting to freak me out.” mentions Madsen
