Special supper .

It was a 7 p.m. in Mr. Thomson's home. This beautiful home “Paradise “ is really a lovely house with a nice garden with lots of trees bushes which gave a marvellous look to their home . Mr Anthony Thomson a disciplined as well as religious father was working in convent school as Accountant . His wife Mary although a graduate but a fulltime housewife as she preferred to take care of children instead of only earning money . Mr Thomson along with his wife Mary ,son Sherock , daughter Anna were staying in a countryside . Everyday when it was 7 p.m. all members are supposed to gather in hall where they have built a small alter . All were getting ready for their daily Rosary prayer. Because they all believed that 'The family who pray together will stay together'

The day started after all had their tea , breakfast and the children got busy with their online school . Sherlock was in 9^th standard and Anna was in 4^th. They both were students of a well reputed school in their area Don Bosco High School . Mr Thomson started his laptop and doing his office work . This al happened due to the pandemic government has imposed strict lockdown where everybody as to stay in home. Your education , work all need to be online. Children school was 8 to 11 online after that whole day they were free to do their homework, play etc. Like typical housewife Mrs Mary was in kitchen preparing noon meal. It was 12:30 and she has called all for lunch. They all were on dining table it was pure veg menu in that one  dish attracted everybody . Mr Thomson asked ,” O Dear what is this special look dish ?” Mary replied , “ It’s a special sweet dish made of goat tongue .” Anna was very happy , “ Mummy so sweet of you and so sweet dish is. I liked so much .” Mary told , “ Thanks all I am happy that all of you liked this dish . Be sweet with everybody .” They all enjoyed their meal and backed to their stations. Children went and started watching their mobile phones and Mr Thomson resumed to his office work .

The wall clock was showing 3:30 p.m. and it was their regular tea break . As like smart lady Mary was ready with evening tea snacks and she started calling her husband and children for the tea. Children were playing on mobiles and just responded, “ Yaa Mamaa coming . “ It was Mary’s 5^th time she was calling and finally she shouted , “ Sherlock and Anna do you really going to have tea or else I throw out ??” Even Mr. Thomason was too upset on children’s excess use of mobile. Due to this the family members were bit disturbed as there were arguments in family y with children and parents . The subject was children were using their cell phones too much. Both the parents were scolding the kids , whereas children "team" were arguing that their study were totally online due to lockdown and this pandemic , hence they need to hold their cells with them always. The family is always go through the teaching of The Holy Bible wherein St Paul in his letter mentioned , " Let there be no Sunset on your anger " so the members were gathered for their daily prayer.

The prayer got over and they all were on their dining table for dinner. The table was fully loaded with bread, chicken curry, fried chicken and many more delicious dishes, among there were one special dish which look like made of goat tongues. All Thomsons were badly hungry and they started their dinner , the food was tasty, but that 'special dish' made all cry as it was very very spicy , the taste was good but no one can have that . Everybody running for water , curd .Anna was shouting " O Mumma give me sugar fast else I will die ". Sherlock's situation too not good , " Mumma have you put whole month's masala in one day's meal or what ?" Mr Thomson also looked disturbed . He asked Mary , "Dear this dish is really too spicy ."

Mary the home minister of their house quite cool She just smiled and started , " My Dear family members , I do agree that this special look dish is too spicy and I have purposely made it ." impatient Sherlock replied , " Mummy for what ? The other dishes are so tasty then why this so much spicy ?" Mary again smiled and said , " Yes Dear son wait. First of all I am sorry for this spicy dish. This dish I made of goat tongue. I put chilli powder bit more. The reason is you all know today afternoon we have arguments among us about cell phone usage?" All nodded their heads. Mr Thomas asked , " But Honey what’s the connections of our arguments and this food ?" Mary promptly replied , “ Yes Dear there is connection. Remember you all liked that sweet dish which also I made of goat tongue ? Everyone appreciated correct ?? So if our thoughts are sweet then we speak sweet nice and when we have fight we say bad words we argue with the same tongue . “

Mary further added , " You know we all use out tongue to express our views , to talk right ?? The same tongue using for praying God, for praising others as well as for bad words, fighting and so on so on . So my intention is not to spoil our dinner and make you cry by having this delicious look dish , ( smiling ) but to have a lesson , that we all must try to be cool, understanding . God gave us power of talking so we must use it for good cause. that all"

Now the turn on children Anna said ‘ “ Dad and Mummy we are very sorry . We were wrong this spicy dish has opened our eyes .”  Sherock also not behind . He said , “ Yes we do agree .We use too much our cell phones. This spicy dish had made done our dinner  gone horribly wrong but

 we had a sweet lesson of how to be good always .”

All Thomsons were smiling now . and this way even their dinner was horribly wrong , still they had a lifelong lesson that Be Good .
