I am not Ryan

One sunday morning when Ron woke up he heard the siren of police cab. A policeman was standing near his bed. He said Ryan you are under arrest. Ron saw him in shock and said he is not Ryan. His name is Ron and he is a writer(who was not recognized too much). There was a driving license kept on a table near the bed. The policeman picked the card and showed to him. Ron's picture was there but the name mentioned was Ryan D'costa. Ron was shocked and didn't know what was happening with him. One morning how can his identity change and why was he getting arrested. Policeman put the handcuffs and took him to police station. He kept saying "I am not Ryan" but all the documents had his face but Ryan name in it. When they reached police station, a lady started shouting "he is Ryan , he killed my husband ". Ron was shocked because he was seeing this lady first time in his life. He tried recalling if he has ever met her but he got only one answer "no". That lady was crying ,yelling and continuously shouted "he is Ryan, he is Ryan". Ron stood there silently as he was confused what just happened. He started asking himself "who is he and why everyone is calling him Ryan?". He was taken into custody. He had no family or friends whom he could have called and asked for help. On monday he was called outside saying his brother has done the bail for him. Again he had the same surprise look " I don't have a brother, I am not Ryan". As soon as he came out, he saw a tall fair man stood in front of him. That man hugged him and said "my dear brother i know you have not killed Samuel. Suzy have misunderstood you. We will prove you are innocent ". Ron just said with a soft and tired voice "I am not Ryan. Please explain what is this, who are you and why do you all keep saying i am Ryan". The man who insisted that he is Ron's brother hold his hand and took him in a car. They reached in a big bungalow where an old lady stood outside waiting for them. The old lady says to Ron "why did you kill Samuel. If you wanted the money why you didn't ask for it. How will Suzy live her live without Samuel. Why my child why you hurt someone like that. Samuel was your best friend. He always took care of your family and your things. He loved you so much" and she hugged Ron. By now Ron actually started thinking that there is something wrong with his memory and might be he is Ryan and he has forgotten his identity. He went inside the bungalow and after a tough day at jail he was very tired. Without thinking much he slept in a room which was very dark. Once he woke up and switched on the lights, the complete room had his pictures. On walls the name was painted "Ryan the rockstar ". He started thinking may be Ryan is someone who just looks like him and that is why everyone is misunderstanding him. He thought to go out and explain everyone that he just looks like Ryan but actually he is Ron. When he was coming out of the room he heard some voices talking very softly " no one has seen Ryan , let him get jailed and then I will live a happy and free life ". By the time Ron could reach the owner of those voices they were gone. He came out where everyone in the house kept crying saying "Why Ryan why did you kill Samuel". Ron now knew that someone is behind all this who is cheating everyone in this house. He went and sat beside the old lady. She put her head on Ron's shoulder and said" I was so excited finally after 20 years I will meet my Ryan my grandson. But today I had to get you bailed. Why ?For what? This complete property is yours but now it is all waste". Now slowly Ron was trying to solve the puzzle. He was just dragged here with someone else's name and was about to go into prison for a murder. He went inside the room where he slept and started searching for some clues with which he can prove that he is not Ryan but Ron. While he was searching he could sense someone keeping an eye on him. He was afraid and clueless but he wanted to do whatever it takes to prove his innocence. At midnight he heard a slow knock at the door. With his hand trembling he opened the door. The lady pushed him and closed the door. She was Suzy who kept saying that Ron is Ryan who killed her husband. She was shivering with fear and said in a stammering voice "I...I..I...know you didn't kill my husband but I can't help you. I am sorry. If possible just run from here".

After saying this she opened the door and ran outside the corridor. Now Ron was trying to figure out why was he the one who was bought as Ryan and how were all his documents changed. He started searching for Suzy and thought she is the only one who can explain the whole situation to him. The old lady and Ryan's brother kept crying and thinking how they can save him when he actually murdered Samuel. Next day there was a hearing at court. Ron escaped from the bungalow and went to search for Suzy. While escaping he saw one black sedan car took Suzy forcibly. He followed that car. When the car reached a garage he hid himself under a truck. A manly hard voice said to Suzy " I love you a lot , Samuel is dead now and poor Ryan will go to jail instead of me. So now you have only me. Support me and just say it in court that he is Ryan and he killed Samuel ". Suzy kept denying "I can't do that. Ryan is innocent and he doesn't even know that he is actually Ryan. This complete property belongs to him. You never wanted him to meet his family and that's why you kept him away from everyone. Since 20 years he thinks he has no family but he is wrong. Granny loves him alot. These many years you never let anyone know that he is alive and now you proved that he is Ryan when you wanted to use him as a bait. Samuel in his entire life has eagerly waited for Ryan to come and take over all the business and money. Now you killed him and you want poor Ryan to take the responsibility of the murder of a person who was his best friend. God will punish you. I can't support you. You can kill me also like you killed Samuel ". Ron was listening to the conversation and was surprised to know that he is Ryan. Suddenly a phone started ringing. The man who was talking to Suzy went out and before that he tied Suzy's hands to the steering of the car. Ron came out from under the truck. Suzy was surprised to see him and was happy that finally Ron knew the truth. Ron helped her escaping from there and they both reached the court. There Suzy told the judge that Ron didn't knew his identity that he is Ryan and he is the heir of D'costa family. The person who killed Samuel was actually Ryan's brother. Samuel was taking care of his property and money because he knew that Ryan is alive and will come back one day. Now everything was clear. His brother was taken into custody and Ron was freed from all allegations. He came out of the court and thanked Suzy. He still was a bit confused so Suzy explained him. Suzy said " when you were young, you , Samuel and your brother Ron used to play together . Everyone loved you more and even Samuel always did what you asked him to do. He would never listen to Ron(his brother). Ron hated you. Once he locked you in a faraway place and no one knew where you were gone . Everyone searched for you. Your mom and dad died of pain as they were not able to find you. Coz you were too young , you might not remember what happened then. All this while there was only one person who knew you are alive. It was Ron. Now you are 25 years old and according to the will of your father the complete property is your now. Ron killed Samuel and he wanted to send you to jail so that he can enjoy with all the property. But god is great. So now you know what happened and who are you?". Ryan stood there with teary eyes. His whole life he has spent with a name and identity which was not his. He kept saying "I am not Ryan" but actually he was. He went to granny with Suzy and told them that he will need sometime to understand and believe that "HE IS RYAN". After this he continued writing novels. This time his novel was liked by everyone. The name of the novel was "I am not Ron". He lived happily with Granny and took care of Suzy who was his best friend's wife.
