I was working my farm early in the morning when I saw a purple and black cloud form and descend right in front of me. When the cloud dispersed, a figure stood in front of me. He had a horse-like head, wore gleaming armour, and held a scythe in his hand.
"Kameron, son of Kalmon. Do not be afraid, for you have been chosen to be blessed by the True God. You shall see what is to come," said the being.
I was so afraid that I froze, for I didn't know who stood before me in that moment. "I...I do not know you...or your god...I'm...I'm just a farmer." I was scared for my life. The being's nose exhaled warm air on my face. "You will know soon enough." He then raised his free hand and placed it on my head.
Suddenly, I was on a cliffside overlooking a never-ending ocean. It was sunset. On the edge of the cliff, there were wooden beams overlapped in an X-shape. As I got closer, I saw that on the beams, a lamb's head was in the center of the beams with its legs tied to each end of the beams. The closer I got, the lamb parts turned into a human, then an elf, then a dwarf, a half-orc, a halfling, and every race in the continent. They cycled through, and soon I was in a huge white, gold, and silver throne room. I stood before the thrones where a member of each race sat with weapons by their side. They eyed each other. Then all at once they leaped from their thrones and fought each other. After some time, a body pile formed, and the victor stood on top. A half-orc was the victor. At the bottom of the pile, a mermaid knelt in surrender.
"Glory to the CONQUEROR! Glory to his GOD! Glory to his EMPIRE forever and EVER!" said the mermaid. "Blessed be my god, the creator of the world and heavens. May his kingdom be my empire and my empire be his kingdom. GLORY TO THE TRUE GOD! For I am his MONSTER!" said the half-orc triumphantly.
"What is the name of this half-orc?" I asked. "Let me show you," the being said. I was then in a tiny house filled with half-orcs. They were surrounding what looked to be a mother and her child. I knew she had to be the mother based on how she held the baby and the fact that her hair was not groomed at all, unlike the other females, who had their hair groomed. This also meant that the mother had given birth recently. "Is this him? The real him?" asked one of the half-orcs. "It is indeed," said an elder half-orc. She slowly walked toward the mother and child and held her arms out to hold the child. The mother gave her child to the elder. "This. Is. Noone. The Conqueror who will bring the end of great evils. The one the True God promised would come," said the elder. She then gave the child back to his mother.
"Who is that elder?" I asked. "I'm surprised you don't recognize her," said the being. "I know her, but how this has to be taking place centuries into the future, no one alive today will know by then," I said. "You know her parents. In fact, the woman has been conceived recently," said the being. Then I realized who he was talking about. I am the slave to a half-orc family. My master's son was a newlywed. "Is it my master's son?" I asked. "Is he the one with the elf?" asked the being. "Elf? I know nothing of an elf being married into the family. Perhaps it's someone else then?" I asked mostly to myself. "If you haven't figured it out by now, perhaps going back will give you answers. You have seen what the True God wants you to see. Now go. Write. Preach. All in the name of the True God, for he is your heavenly master," said the being, and soon I was back standing in my field. "Kameron!" shouted my wife. "AH!" I screamed. "AH! Kameron! You fool. You nearly made my heart jump out of me," she said as she slapped her rags against my head and shoulders. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just...I had a vision. I have to write it all down. Also, do you know anyone we know who is a half-orc who is married to an elf?" I asked. "A half-orc who married an elf. What are you talking about? Why would an elf marry a half-orc?" asked my wife. "I will explain once I write down what I saw in my vision," I answered. "Are you sure you had a vision and not daydreamed about somebody?" asked my wife. "Oh no. No. No. You're getting the wrong idea. The vision came from the Monster of the True God. He came to me and showed me a cliff with a lamb's head that changed into different people. Then a throne room where multiple people fought each other. The half-orc won. Then I was in a hut with several half-orcs with an elder one declaring the child's name as 'Noone.'" I said as if I were a madman. "Your vision. It sounds eerily like something a halfling and a dwarf said that they experienced as well. Even when bad things happened to them, they still spoke of a half-orc who would unite all the countries under the True God. If I'm remembering correctly, one of them even died without taking back what he claimed he saw. Maybe this True God does exist and is slowly revealing himself after some time, or it's a demon," said my wife. "I don't think it was a demon. There would have been much more darkness, or things I would want to see. Not scenes about a half-orc being a war hero." I said dismissively. "Well, it was just a possible cause. I never said it was the cause. Now let me ask around about a half-orc-elf couple while you get your writing supplies," said my wife. "Ah, thank you, dear. This is why I fell in love with you." I said. "Oh, quit it. That is not why you married me. Now get to writing. You don't want to anger another god, would you?" asked my wife, hitting me with a memory of a time when we experienced a bad harvest and I cursed one of the gods, and the next month I got wheatsickness. That's when I learned to respect divinity, and I would soon learn to respect true divinity. The True God.
