Marcus Aurelius was then looked after by his mother and paternal grandfather in Spain. However in Spain Marcus Aurelius joined the Spain Army and he became the leader of the Spain soldiers.

Marcus Aurelius quoted also that, A mans worth is no greater than his ambitions. Likewise a womans worth is no greater than his ambitions. It can be noted that ambitions can certainly drive individuals to always achieve great things in life reducing a man worth solely to his aspirations is a flawed perspective.
Marcus Aurelius also commented that Ambition means tying your wellbeing to what other people say or do. Again, Ambition is the path to success in life. It was Marcus Aurelius who helped the Spain soldiers to conquer a lot of countries in times of war. Later the Roman soldiers under the leadership of Antoninus Pius conquered the Spain Army.

The King of the Romans, Pontius was so jealous about Marcus Aurelius that he ordered for another Gladiator fight against the Army commander of the Romans , Julius.
During the Gladiator fight , the Roman soldiers led by Julius fought Marcus Aurelius and then wounded some of the slaves. Other slaves also died in obscurity. Later Marcus Aurelius by the help of some of his slaves fought and then killed the Roman soldiers including their leader Julius.
The King Pontius by then became jealous that he even fought for his Army and Marcus Aurelius finally killed King Pontios. Then all the Roman soldiers surrendered that they have been defeated by Marcus Aurelius. Since Marcus Aurelius and his slave friends won the fight he became famous that he even earned for himself enough gold coins.
Aftermath of the death of King Pontios and King Antoninus Pious, Marcus Aurelius was chosen by the Queen, Queen Victoria to become the next King of the Romans for his fame, good qualities, wealth and brevity.
During Marcus Aurelius reign as the King of the Romans he thought the Roman soldiers that, It is not death that a man should fear but he should fear never beginning lo live.
