“That’s cheating! You have five letters, not four!” Amora said. She was sitting in a dark tunnel, with only a gas lantern to light up the area. She had a blank sheet of paper and a black pen. “Fine. What about horse?” Ezra said. He was sitting in a light-filled tunnel. Letting the sun light up the area. He had a blank sheet of paper and a red pen. Ezra wrote the word horse on the paper, smiling softly. “I guess that could work, how many letters do I have?” Amora asked.
She looked on the paper and saw the word horse being written as she spoke. “ You have nine letters.” Ezra said. Amora was fiddling with her pen as she said, “Dimension!” Amora wrote the word on the paper and sighed at the thought of her winning. “Dimension? How did you think of that?” Ezra asked. Amora took a moment to think about the question “ Well, haven’t you ever wondered why we are in different dimensions?” A moment of silence broke out between the two. “I mean, I have been coming to this tunnel since I was young, and you have also. Have you ever wondered why we can only see each other in dreams? It's like each other's imagination” Amora asked. Ezra didn’t know how to answer, he was also confused on why they couldn't see each other. “ Well, maybe we're not supposed to, maybe we are supposed to wait for a magical fairy to come and save us.” Ezra jokes. They both let out a small chuckle. “Well It was just a thought, I'm going to head out.” Amora announced. “Goodnight!” Ezra replied. “Night!” Amora said. She knew he wasn't going to sleep since It was morning over there. As she walked to her house, she thought about what she asked back in the tunnel. “Why were they in different dimensions?” She thought.
Amora walked to the front of her porch, she looked down at her golden flower pot. She smiled and headed inside. Ezra sat on his front porch, fiddling with his red pen. He looked to his side and saw his golden flower pot. He smiled and headed inside. Amora settled into her bed and drifted off to sleep, Ezra did the same. “Amora?” Ezra called out. “I'm right here!” Ezra turned around and saw a beautiful dark brown-haired woman. She had dark brown eyes and brown freckles. She smiled softly and hugged Ezra. Amora released her grasp and looked at Ezra. She saw a tall black-haired man. He had green eyes and a neck tattoo. “You totally cheated today.” Amora said. Ezra chuckled and led Amora to his porch. “Whatever, I will win tomorrow.” Ezra said. Amora sat on the steps and looked at his flower pot. She remembered she has the same on her porch. “Where did you get this? I have the same one!” Amora asked. Ezra looked at the flower pot, then back to her. “That thing? I have had it since I was little.” Ezra said. “Me too! Isn't this a coincidence?” Amora asked. Ezra sat down by Amora laughing. “ I guess it is, maybe tomorrow we can finally see each other in person. In the real world.” Ezra said hopeful. Ezra always longed to see Amora in person. He wanted to have the chance to hug her close and not just in his dreams. Amora leaned her head on Ezra’s shoulder and said, “ Me too, I believe we are soulmates, why else would we be here? A science experiment?” Amora raised her head and looked at Ezra longfully. He felt her head, “What do you think will happen when we meet?” Amora asked. “I think the world will stop, and it will just be us two. Living happily.” Ezra said. He smiled and looked at Amora. They looked in each other’s eyes, both wanting to say something. “Ezra…” Amora trailed. She starts leaning into Ezra, wanting him to do the same. He then caught on, and leaned in and closed his eyes.
He waited a few seconds to feel any signs of Amora. He opened his eyes and saw his bedroom. “No! Not again!” Ezra yelled. “Why are we always so close? Why do they ruin it? Why can’t I reach the end of this?!” Ezra thought. They have always tried countless ways to pursue their relationship, but they always wake up. “When will it end?” He thought. He jumped out of bed and threw some clothes on. He headed out of his house and towards the tunnel. His pain grew bigger and turned to sadness. “I felt her! I felt she was really there!” Ezra exclaimed. He reached the edge of the tunnel and yelled out, “Amora!” He didn't hear a response. “Ezra!” Amora called out, he was at the edge of her tunnel and was listening to hear his voice. She didn't hear a response. They called out to each other, but all they heard was their echoes. They both looked longfully to the other side of the tunnel. “It's morning...It's morning! It's never morning!” Amora screamed. She ran to the end of the tunnel and saw the sun setting. “No!” Amora yelled. “Amora?!” Ezra screamed. Ezra started running toward the end of the tunnel, trying to find the end. As the sunset disappeared, she saw the tunnel turn completely pitch black. Amora closed her eyes and started tearing up.
“Amora?” Ezra asked. Amora looked and saw the silhouette of a man above her. She noticed the tunnel was filled with light from the sun. She recognized the man to be Ezra. “Ezra!” She hugged him tightly and looked him in his eyes. “It's you! It's really you!” Ezra looked her in her eyes and started laughing. They looked into each other's eyes and shared a passionate kiss. They held each other in each other’s arms and walked to the end of the tunnel. As they reached the end of the tunnel, they looked at each other, and Ezra said, “I told you I would win in the end. I won you.”
