I have an addiction. I can't believe it. I have a YouTube addiction. Rayna writing this in her journal, which she keeps a daily journal of everything that is going on. You can say that her journal is a story of everything that is going on with her life. Rayna was always the type of person who loved to go out clubbing, but she stopped that a long time ago. She got into this YouTube addiction about two or three years ago. She loves to write and read. Rayna has been keeping a journal since she was nine years old. Her father gave her a diary with a key. She still has that diary in her closet from 30 years ago. Rayna goes back and read in the diary to see what she has written in it back then. She first got interested in YouTube when she was searching for writing videos. Her favorite You Tuber was Burgess Taylor, which is now Journey with Burgess. At the beginning, Burgess made a lot of writing videos. Rayna ate up all of Burgess’s writing videos. The Burgess channel changed. Yep, she talked more about art journaling. Her favorite medium is watercolor. It disappointed me she wasn't making anymore writing videos, but she mentioned she would evolve more into content than just writing. I just loved her writing videos. I get nostalgic for her videos and go back to re-watch again. As I was watching Burgess writing videos, suggestions popped up to watch more writing videos. That's when I located more of You Tube Writers Videos: Kim Chance, Vivien Reis, M Kirin and Kristen Martin. Their videos were fun and very informative. Kim Chance and M Kirin have made no videos in a while. Back to Burgess, when she started making art journaling videos that got my mind to thinking, I think I am going love to art journal. As usual, YouTube suggested more channels to watch, so I started watching other art journaling channels. Rayna gained another hobby; Art journaling. She already has writing, reading and playing video and cards games as a hobby. Rayna again dove into another hobby. She always complains that she doesn't have enough time in the day to get everything done. She has a full-time job as a Call Center Quality Coach. That job drains me. So when I get home, I write in my journal of what happens that day and read a book. It's a ritual every day to watch YouTube Videos to see what new videos are available to watch from her subscriptions list. Rayna checks her notification bells, and it sometimes is 9 or more videos to watch. Her addiction comes into play when one of favorites stated bought another art supply; she has to go out and buy art supplies too. Michaels has become one of her favorite places to shop. Every weekend she's out there at Michaels using her 40% off coupon or whatever coupon is part of weekly ad for that week. Rayna got an idea. She started a notebook with a list of all of her art supplies that she bought over time:
Jane Davenport-her favorite art journaling product to use
Aqua Pastels
Pack of Aqua Brushes
Pack of Colorsticks
Collage Sheets
Paper Pad
Whimsical Girls Art Journal
Acrylics Paints
Apple Barrel & Craft Smart-over 100 bottles
Watercolor Paints
Michael's Brand- Artist Loft
Daler Rowney
Stacks of Canson Mixed Media & Watercolor Journals
I am still buying more and more art journaling supplies that are piling up. Yes, I am an art supplies hoarder. A lot of the author tubers love to read books. That led me to book tube. My favorite genre to read: Crime Fiction/Cozy Mystery and African American Fiction. When I watched Book tubers, it got me out of my comfort zone. I was watching a writing video on Coffee Reading and Writing, and I saw the book "Wicked" on Maria's bookshelf. Something infatuated me with the green color sprayed edges; “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire. This got me into Fantasy genre. I heard some book tubers to get out of your comfort zone, and that's what I did. Rayna craved most fantasy tales retelling: Her favorite fairy tales are Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. She read:
Queen of Hearts Trilogy by Colleen Oakes
Heartless by Marissa Meyer
Disney Twisted Tales Series:
Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly
It's a lot more, but I can’t think of them now. Genres that I thought I never read like Science Fiction and Horror. Rayna read:
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Warcross by Marie Lu
The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
Slay by Brittney Morris
As you can see, I am not a big fan of science fiction and horror books; I can't even remember the names of horror books I read. Rayna was watching Karen Campbell, her favorite art journaling and drawing channel. Karen had mentioned about signing up for her art classes online. Rayna thought about it, but she didn't sign up. Then Rayna discovered another hobby; adult coloring. Yep, I can blame YouTube for that too. I started buying adult coloring supplies.

Rayna prefers digital coloring pages to physical coloring books so that if she messes up a page, then she can print out another page. Rayna was reviewing what she has accomplished with picking up so many hobbies. She has accomplished nothing. Speaking of not finishing anything, I have purchased Grand Theft Auto and Murdered Soul Suspects about 5 years ago, and I never finished either of them. Last year, I purchased 16 games from my Steam account. I haven’t start playing those games.

As you can see, I am addicted. Is there a Hobby Anonymous meeting that I can go to?
