My story is entitled I remember the location of the tunnel through the mountain during our visit.
Once upon a time, the story tells of an actually imaginary story and also a fact. The story was about a group of men who were set out on a long and difficult journey to find some sort of ancient mines that one of them has read about in his lifetime.
As noted after sometime, they reached some sort of high mountains that seemed impossible to cross to the other side of the road.
At the peak of the mountain there was a volcanoe and a small valley that often stores water for the inhabitants around the mountain. Also vehicles were not normally driven on the mountain because their roads were rough and also untarred.
It is only a few cars and other trucks that were allowed to drive on the mountain and on the tunnel in order to avoid all sorts of road accidents.
However during their journey two of the other men found a cave on the mountain side at the Kilimanjaro mountain. The cave at the mountain side of the Kilimanjaro mountain serves as the dwelling place for the homeless and other Cyclops.
These men felt their way in the darkness by actually guiding themselves by the wall of the cave which appeared to actually penetrate into the heart of the mountain.
The mountain was very huge and it was noted as one of the biggest mountains in the entire world in the Guinness Book of records.
The mountain Kilimanjaro is noted to have a steep side along which vehicles cannot often be driven on.
Also most farming activities are not done on the mountain but rather at the latter bottom of the mountain. There are other houses built on the mountain apart from the tunnel.
Most of the citizens of the community live in decent housing on the mountain.
Also during Easter festivities events such as Paragliding are often held on the mountain in order to earn foreign exchange so that the community will earn for themselves some money or income during paragliding activities.
In addition what then surprised Cyprian Somebody was that the air was perfectly fresh and another thing was that the cave ran straight almost as if it had been tunnelled by some sort of artificial means.
The men mentioned that they would have wished to have a candle or light of some sort.
They needed light to actually see clearly where they were going or heading to on their journey.
The light helped them to see and observe things as they walked through the tunnel in the mountain.
The tunnel also has old archaeological findings such pots ,clothes, skeletons of animals and skeletons of our forefathers.
Also the tunnel is the dwelling place of the homeless, poor people and underprivileged people of our society.
It is within this tunnel that most nefarious and criminal activities often happen due to such menace the road to the tunnel is most often blocked by soldiers at both the entrance and the exit.
It is in this tunnel that some Archaeologist often gather and make their findings for the museum. When ever findings such as the magic lamp, clothes ,pots and old skeletons are gathered and stored in the museum it helps foreigners to visit the museum to watch and learn about the archaeological findings. This helps the museum and the community as a whole to earn foreign exchange and also offer employment for the youth within the society.
As the men walked on their journey about eighty or hundred yards ,Joshua Jackson caught Victor by the arm.
Look! the young man exclaimed excitedly.
Look! What is that actually.?
A light! shouted Joshua Jackson. Someone is coming or walking towards us on this journey to the end of the tunnel within the mountain.
Nonsense! Actually nobody was coming towards us. Come on!
Also yet undoubtedly a light was visible ,the light which looked like a star actually shining through the darkness helped them to see directly on the right path in the tunnel
The young man holding , Joshua Jackson arm dragged him on as they quickly advanced in the light and they became gradually larger and huge.
As noted until presently the passage was no longer in darkness within the community.
The young man Mr. Brempong the Professor was right! cried out loud Charley Chaplain excitedly.
In addition, there was a way through the rock and we finally observed and found it.
As we were running in less than a minute, we actually reached the end of the tunnel during our journey and there beneath them was a valley inexpressibly beautiful under the rays of the setting sun ,whilst away within the distance was some sort of broad river and it's banks fringed with tall trees.
Joshua Jackson and Cyprian Somebody returned to the others, just in time to hear about Victor speaking in an angrily manner on the foolishness of not having then relied on Mr. Brempong the Professors guidance.
He then realized that he does not know what he has been thinking of,he mentioned and said bitterly. A silly old fool of some sort like him would be able to lead us to some ancient mines.
Also Professor Mr.Brempong mentioned that he does not understand much about issues. He then looked up from his book as if speaking to himself .The country's map clearly showed that he followed this route through the tunnel to the other side of the mountain side.
Also,How could he? Victor demanded impatiently, Can you possibly see that we are hemmed in all around.
The Professor by name Mr. Brempong replied sadly. It would almost appear as so bad within the society.
There is no road on this way, said Victor ,there was never a road and the explanation about this issue was that the man was a liar entirely.
Another man mentioned and answered that the young man was not actually a liar.
Almost all the three other men looked up in some sort of surprise at these words from the young men. What! exclaimed Major Ankrah.
What do you mean.? Charley Chaplain looked exactly at the angry face of Victor and then smiled at the young men.
He finally mentioned that there was a road leading to the tunnel through the mountain side.
They concluded that they have found the road during their journey on the tunnel through the Kilimanjaro mountain.
