"Test Drive".

Life is pricey and Goldie.Elder says “Spending an honourable and qualitative life is an art,very few people know this art,and not only knowing the art is sufficient,to use it as a tool is the worthy point”.

 Today ,the story is not mere healthy for maintaining good English,or to increase reading and vocabulary,it is an almond both for eyes and brain.

Continuously served in well reputed construction company for twenty five long years with great honesty,and professionalism,now mind pop up to switch over my own construction company.My boss stepped out of country,and desperate waiting took place.One day I found him in office,busy doing writing on his laptop,wearing cute specs.One of his highest quality of level,which every sensible would endorse,an elephantine listener ,after that his suggestions been a monomentle .He always said advice is a mandate,one has to respect and respond it with care and respect. .So ,after greetings ,stated my purpose of quitting the job.He suggested me to stay with him for about two to three years more and should bring my two sons,who were Engineered from a well reputed university,to gain some practical experience in his organization,because his organization been large and a capacity to learn more in advance notion. Totally made upped mind to say bid farewell.Boss,after a little thought,said”ok,now it’s up to you but I have a small venture,complete it ,than you are good bye”he smiley expressed.The venture assuming a small house.He suggested me to involve my two sons in this venture too, to access experience.It shocked me little,Boss chaired an multinational companies,why is he ebbing in this small venture,? i couldn't understand.Firstly,I didn’t like his proposal even though I reluctantly agreed.Been curious and restless to start my own construction company,its been my dream drive.My wife and sons were keen to takeoff with our own venture.plainly speaking,my Boss out to be my ideal and didn’t wanna to annoy or disobey him.My sons and ,my partner in my venture ,suggested , should sublet the venture to some other contractor,or just quit the job to gear up with our own venture. Despite their great pressure,my conscience didn’t agree,it seemed awkward. My wanting stood different, to quit the job with healthy memories.

My boss handed me a diagram of the said house with great flaws mentioned.Firstly it’s foundation was not seep proof.Seepage stood a great issue in our country.I suggested to raise up the price of the project and to lay the seepage stopper,which turning quite expensive.My boss argued this venture a low-cost ,if its price rises ,it would be expensive,we would say that seepage stopper is added in the foundation,all that nobody would go with this point,nobody sees the foundation,they would not give us the desire price .I didn’t agree.Despite ,he raised the construction amount.The plot occupied 1125 square feet ,no provision for lawn,servant quarter or store,kitchen designed too small and the wash rooms were not having proper drainage system.Didn't know how could my boss,a seasoned,veteran and professional builder ,making great mistakes.After a great review architect remade the blue print once again added all the facilities and short comings were removed. Litterly afraid the boss would reject all my corrections ,the large hearted man accepted my corrections with a smile. Despite it, boss again reminded me that I’m exceeding the limit.The company limit was around eighty lacks,with land price,I exceeded the limit by twenty five percent.”Mr Kazim,what happened to you,in your all service life you compromised ,now you are adamant”Boss expressed his concern in coolly and civilized manner.Made an respected answere to him"Sir the entire lifespan ,you directed us“no compromise on quality and you survived well till today or with in future development,you are a role model for the entire company”. Boss only jerked his head.

 Mason was a shrewd enough, offered me a suggestion for adding less material like cement,sand,crush like this we cut short the expenses and would deploy less labor force and charge more from the company.I didn’t accept his suggestions and asked the boss to send his substitute.Bought cement directly from the factory at factory rates.like this went myself to buy the kitchen and bathroom accessories and other commodities directly from the factory.I done all the purchases myself,as I'm constructing my own house.In a nutshell,I wanted to make it a little splendid venture.

My newbie partner,when saw my open attitude towards construction,He straight away refused to go with me.He was my oldest friend since childhood,his approach towards bussiness acted to make money ,my motto also acted to make money howbeit , through good work and reputation.Even my sons,they were astonished about the execution of work.

This was nobody fault,I appeared shy and coward person,I admit now,how source of courage came to me and Now I asked even my sons ,if they join hands with me,they would work under my umbrella.

The project completion duration stood six months , I completed it in five months.Boss came,He checked the whole building work,This was his first visit been get started .He Expressed his fully contented and satisfaction on the construction work.The total cost of the project turned out one crore forty lacs Rupees.

Customers approaching the office.Many customers turned away when they heard the price of the house.

I had done one thing.I made up a full movie of the construction work.special emphasis paid to the foundation work,high lighted seepage stopper and brochures mounted full highlighters of the work .

In those days, high perturbed taken me,the failure of the project albeit my failure and I doubt in future nobody would work honestly,my gesture would be failed.Only one person was on my side ,my wife.

After two months ,a serious party came,they commended the work and their offer was 1.75 lacs of rupees.it means thirty five lacs profit in seven months, a great achievement.

Great delighted ,my last project with the boss changed into successful venture.Now It tasted good ,,considered my self a successful builder and this project proved a milestone in my own construction business.

I handed a full report to the boss.Boss ,asked me to arrange a function in this regard.

In the function ,boss highlighted my whole career.He commended my interest in the making of this small venture.He said his interest gave him two ways.No compromise ,quality work ,number2 that person would stay with you who have qualities related you.

In the last Boss gave a great surprise,as a life achievement award handed the keys of the” Small house venture”to me ,with a great smile.

In the last he said ,This small venture assumed as a " Test Drive” to Mr Kazim.
