On a dark stormy night, I was awaken by a rough thunder. I went in search for my mom only to find out something that strike my eyes in wander. I was confused whether to laugh or cry as my mind went blank. I don't exactly remember how to express as I was only 8 years old but that day changed my entire life .

Ten years later, I was very thankful that Elsa was always beside me. I could have been less cared if she wasn't around. She played both the role of a mother and father in my life. We were like best friends and I love her so much. No child would need a parents when a person like her is around you. We would usually go for a shopping in cities once a month and come back with lots of memories.

I had a boyfriend who was from same college but Elsa didn't like me having him around so I broke up with him. She assured me that I will get my perfect prince Charming on right time. And her words never failed to amaze me. Few weeks later I was hospitalized because of food poisoning and stayed there for 1 month. If Elsa didn't take me to hospital in right time I would have been death by now. She's always my guardian angel and I love her so much. She welcomed me with a beautiful surprise and we had a hearthy laugh talking about our past after I was released from hospital. That night, i heard a voice whispering as I was trying to sleep so I called out Elsa but she didn't respond. I walked down the stairs where that voice is coming and saw her hugging my ex boyfriend. I wasn't shocked because I trust her so much and went off to sleep. The next morning I asked her about last night whisper/hug and she said that my ex came to ask for financial help as his mother is in last stage cancer. She felt for him so gave him some cash and comforted him. I was proud of my sister and gave her big hug for her big heart.

In evening I decide to visit my ex mother. I asked Elsa to accompany me but she said she have some urgent work to do so I headed out from my car. I was little nervous on how and what to say to my ex. I turned on the music to relax and was singing along with it not realizing that my car brake was falling off. My car started shaking and I couldn't balance but hit straight to an old tree which was my life saviour. I woke up to find myself in my bed. I had only minor injuries and my car was safe too. I remember Elsa was the last one to use the car so I asked her about the brake and she said there was nothing wrong when she last used. The winter creep in and we decorated our house in such a way that the whole neighborhood would envy us. We decided to have the best christmas.

One evening Elsa went out to collect firewood and didn't come back till midnight. So I grabbed my jacket and seek out to find her in a dark silent forest. I began to call her name "Elsa" "Elsa" "Elsa" but was responded only by the houling wolf " auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu". My body began to shiver (out of cold and fear) but I manage to take a step ahead. I could sense a shadow following me but I didn't dare look back as I was too afraid.

Then a person dressed in black grabbed me from back with a sharp knife and tried to kill me. I was chocked but I thought I should live for Elsa and started fighting back. We rolled over and over fighting for that knife. I couldn't see the face as the sky was blur with no moonlight but we fought for about 20 minutes. I was astonished when suddenly a shiny necklace caught my eye. It looks like Elsa's necklace so I began to run from there till I couldn't run anymore.

I lie flat on the ground and look up to the sky where my parents are. Tears started rolling on my cheeks and I let it flow as I was too sad and broken. That day I realized no one can ever replace a family no matter how strong our friendship is or how strong our bonding is. At the end, everyone betrays us.

Elsa was my poor childhood neighbor who was always jealous of our wealth and of my beauty. She ought to be because she was always mocked and teased in school for her ugliness by our friends(led by me). I could say that she was my biggest rival and I thought there would be a fire bursting if we talk for 1 minute.

We happen to loose our parents on the same day when that unlucky thunder strike hit our neighborhood. We were the only survivor in that neighborhood so I decide to accept her as my sister, gave her everything I have, trusted her and treated her as my own. But little did I know that she was only pretending to be my sister these whole years carrying that grudges in her heart. I had a flashback that she was the one who poisoned me, stole my boyfriend, plot to kill me by taking off the brake and attempt to kill me in the forest. Oh! I feel so betrayed and bitter but I let her have all my belongings and property as my genuine love for her.Her bitterness was her revenge! And though she betrayed me and my trust but I can't hold it on forever so I am going to forgive her and move on. And I ain't even gonna remember that she existed. So I hope she can forgive me too someday and move on...
