- Art's Jewelry Shop on the corner of thirteenth Avenue and Bram Street

- Survey surrounding area. This includes:

- Nearby and adjacent shops, stores, offices and restaurants

- Go by Larry's for vehicle, as well as a few more details about the job. He has been quite sparse. For vehicle, preferably something with tread for the harsh Colorado winter, but also with speed in the event it is required

- Find spare Uber or Lyft sticker. If I don't have one, Ben probably does in storage space

March fifth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Pickup Gunther and Mat from Drunken Cherub Brewery at approximately 20:00 hours

- Drive from Happy Cherub Brewery to Art's Jewelry shop should take no longer than fifteen minutes. This factors in undesirable traffic conditions

- Park at least two blocks away, somewhere along the club district

- Gunther and Mat have twelve minutes on the dot to get what they can, after that I will leave, regardless of whatever circumstances has befallen them

March sixth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Gunther and Mat did not return to vehicle. Find out why

- Only current available source for a possible answer is Larry, will ask him when I return car to junkyard

- Regardless of the possibly of job failure, make sure I retrieve part of pay from Larry for effort, resources and time put in

- Remember Doctor Liberman's words on self-confidence when negotiating for pay, "if you don't stand up for yourself, no one will"

March seventh, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Larry was not at junkyard

- Called him twice on his burner phone, no answer or callbacks

- Check in on Morrison County dive bar that he frequents

- My initial inkling of chance is dwindling, and I feel this growing misfortune may be by design

March eighth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Find out who hitmen men were at Morrison bar

- How did they know I would check there next

- Go based on what I know, or can within a reasonable parameter assume:

- Both wore vanilla Colorado Rockies baseball caps

- One had dirty blonde hair

- Other had black hair

- Dirty blonde wore jeans, slightly dirtied, hiking boots and a black puffer coat, fully zipped up

- Dark haired wore khakis, hiking boots as well and a forest green fleece jacket

- Blonde haired man was about six foot one, six foot two inches

- Black haired man 5 foot ten inches

- Both fought with experience, possibly military

- These men know my face, this must be remedied soon

- Dark haired man may be dead, I feel as if the repeated blunt force impact of the toilet seat to his skull may have caused sufficient trauma. Could have also just as likely, if not more so, that he may have gone unconscious. Continue forward assuming the worst possibility

- Dirty blonde is definitely alive, was unable to inflict much damage on him

- Though it hurts my ego to say this, but in light of Doctor Liberman's words about accepting areas that can be improved upon, the dirty blonde was quite a difficult match. For a brief second, I feared for my life

- This is nothing to be ashamed of. All this means is that my area of physical combat must be improved. I consider myself just the driver, and bar my marine training before my discharge, have never sought the tools or time to build this muscle

- Go by King Soopers for first aid material

- Piece of bathroom mirror shard is still lodged in my abdomen. This is worrisome

- Check in with Ben. Bedsides Larry, the only person I believe that I can count on

March nineth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Ben said Larry betrayed me, met in secret with Gunther and Mat

- Assuming this is true, why

- This requires further investigation

- Ben was at motel. Strange woman was in shower when I arrived.

- Peculiar, considering Ben is married to the daughter of a pastor

- Even though I consider Ben a close work acquaintance, and in the broadest definitions of the word, a friend, this is possible leverage against him and I would be a fool not to take note of it

- Remember Doctor Lieberman's words about using chance to your benefit

- Remember example he gave me concerning my opportunity to have sex with my cousin as a teenager, and how I let it pass me by

- "A better, greater man, would have fucked his cousin"

- I fear abdomen wound has become infected. Not sure if because of length of time gored into tissue, or possible fecal matter on glass. Possibly both. I will see if I can find better remedies on WebMD

- Regardless, if Ben's claim about Larry is true, this unfortunately means I have to kill him

March tenth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Had strange dream of my father. Strange because I haven't thought of him in years, and because of the contents of the dream

- We were hiking through the Washington state forest, when

summer had just turned to fall. He remarked how orange the forest floor was and we continued moving

March eleventh, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Ben was lying

- Ben is now not a trusted acquaintance

- Am getting emotional, must operate based on fact, and follow through with fact based action

- The dark haired man and dirty blonde broke into my motel room, just shy of an hour before dawn

- Tried to kill me

- Fight was long, messy and brutal. Mostly consisted of fists and legs, or knifes and random room items (tv remote, lamp, soap bar, bible)

- I remembered what Doctor Lieberman told me when the police found the bodies in his backyard, and the police dragged him away in front of his screaming wife and children

- "I can only be what I am."

- Killed both of them, but before asking them who sent them under the lie of telling them I'd spare their life

- Once motel staff discovers bodies, will probably make local, possibly national, news

- Upon leaving motel room, I looked at them. They no longer resembled the men they were, or really men at all. Fitting for what they did to my abdomen

March twelfth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Wound condition has deteriorated considerably, have been experiencing severe fever, cold sweats as well as nightmares

- Look up more treatments on WebMD

- Go by King Soopers for more supplies

- Find new motel to stay at, doesn't have to be fancy, just better than this abandoned warehouse

- Still find and kill Ben

- Find out if Larry is alive

March thirteenth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- It seems both Ben and Larry have betrayed me

- Was approached by Larry at King Soopers parking lot, Larry telling me to get into his SUV, and that men were after me

- When we had driven sufficiently away, far from passing cars or prying eyes, Larry put a bag over my head as man in front passenger seat stabbed me repeatedly in stomach (once in the area I was already wounded)

- I barely managed to escape, killing Larry and injuring the other man in the process

- Opened door and rolled out of car down mountainside

March fourteenth, 2024 - Things to accomplish, and various thoughts

- Am unfortunately stuck in wilderness. My right leg is bent, as well as my left arm. In addition, my wound has reopened

- All I have on me is my notebook and pen, a stick of gum and the blade the man stabbed me with

- As I stare at the clouds, trying to find a shape but unable to, I thought about my last conversation with Doctor Liberman before he got transported for execution, and his final words to me

-"Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?"
