My story is entitled "Back in my day my brother Joshua Jackson and I had an encounter with bees in the bush around the forest."
Once upon a time Joshua Jackson and I had an encounter with bees in the bush around the forest. In an instance both Joshua Jackson and I walked home full of some sort of regret and sorrow.
Also we did not blame anyone at all during our encounter.
Again our main concern was how to get well soon and fit in health by the following day for the boys and girls at the Lincoln community school were sure to ask all sorts of questions.
In addition what answers could we really give about our encounter with the bees during the previous day.? What is being expected of all the teachers of the school.?
I noted that back in my day the teachers including Mr. Agbo would stand both me and Joshua Jackson infront of the Lincoln community school during a gathering and beat us mercilessly thereby inflicting corporal punishment on me and Joshua Jackson. As usually noted Mr. Agbo was a strict french teacher who often than not disciplines students for their wrong doing. Joshua Jackson and me do not like the way and manner the french teacher usually discipline students especially when they are disturbing and also when they take a visit to the honey hunting bush in the forest.
As noted and observed Mr. Agbo never liked students taking regular visit to the bush in the forest for honey hunting and also disturbing during class hours.
Also his main reason is that they can get lost or easily hurt themselves in the bush or they can easily be beaten or stung by bees in the bush and they can easily fall ill. The noise and disturbances they create in the class can interrupt their lessons and their study period in the class.
Also they would beat and punish both Joshua Jackson and me for going honey-hunting in the nearby forest.
It was normally Mr. Agbo the french teacher who often beats and punishes students who go for honey hunting without informing the Authorities of the school.
Mr. Agbo often beats students so that they will be well disciplined and have good manners within the community at large to be highly respected.
Mr. Agbo often than not adviced students to study and learn the french language instead of going for honey hunting in the bush.
Also in addition Mr. Appiah another teacher advices these students who go for honey hunting and sometimes disciplines these students. He advices them to take their studies seriously and also learn mathematics and science so that they will become Scientist, Doctors, nurses, Dentists, Statisticians and mathematicians in life.
There are instances that we went for honey hunting whist we should be doing our homework after the teachers gave us assignment.
Also while we were still thinking about this issue my younger sister came out of the bush at the back of our school and she saw our appearance by then.
I realized that my younger sister was shocked by then and she informed my mother about her issue.
Again as moment past both Joshua Jackson and I feared the worst.
As my mother came out I was then standing alone shivering with some sort of fever and fear. I later realized that my father was not in by then to give his comment in regards to the honey hunting at the bush within the forest.
I was so lucky by then for he was termed as a severe man of some sort and also mascular in structure. I knew also that my father would have disciplined and whipped me there and then. Later in the morning we heard a shout coming from Naa Akleh's house. Help! Help! Nàa Akleh has finally fainted.
I realized at that moment that if only I could faint too , I would have my family and my father's sympathy.
But quiet unfortunate , I did not faint at all.
Again I was then laid on the mat and also covered with all sorts of clothes to the bottom of my leg.
The village doctor was sent for but he did not come to me exactly at once as he was busy treating Naa Akleh. When the village doctor came he gave me some medicine to then lick. The medicine was very sweet. I realized that the medicine was mixed with honey.
Again almost every part of my body was then rubbed with the same kind of medicine that I even felt sticky.
Also in about thirty minutes I was sick all over my body. Within a moment, I felt asleep and then I awoke up in the morning completely recovered and also healthy.
I then realized that almost all the swellings on my face and body had disappeared whilst I was asleep in my bedroom. I immediately looked into the mirror and saw that I was myself again.
As usual when I got ready for school , then wondered what had happened previously to the others. Just then Cyprian came in looking happy by then. Also both Prince and Joshua Jackson moved to Naa Akleh's house.
Again apart from the bandage on his feet you wouldn't know exactly that it was the same girl who had been very ill and had then fainted the previous night.
Also both Joshua Jackson and I were then satisfied that nobody would hear of our adventure at the Lincoln community school.
As it was unknown to us , however the news of the adventure had immediately gone ahead of us to Lincoln community school. Both Joshua Jackson and I immediately walked into the school as usual as if nothing had possibly happened.
Other boys and girls burst into laughter and as the music was being played amidst dancing and drumming among some teachers of the Arts Department of Lincoln community school we were refresh with drinks.
The boys were informed to tell us how sweet the honey was exactly and how hard the bees usually sting at all times.?
When they clapped their hands around us what we possibly did was to then bend our heads in some sort of shame to avoid them.
Finally after Joshua Jackson and Prince had an encounter with the bees they learnt how to produce honey from the bees that they later brought some to the Lincoln community school to sell and they sent some of the honey to their families in their various homes for human consumption.

"and beat us mercilessly thereby inflicting corporal punishment on me and Joshua Jackson." I love this sentence. A very unique style of storytelling. Great work.
