NEW GIRL IN THE CITY

"You had been feeling it for awhile now ----that sense of awakening.There is a gentle rage simmering inside you,and it is getting stronger by the day.You will hold it close to yourself---you will nurture it and let it grow.you won't let anyone take it away from you . It is the rocket fuel and finally,you are going places.You can feel it down to your very core --this is your time.You will not only climb mountains ---you will move them too". 

This words kept on featuring again and again in your mind .You put all your faith in yourself and took Suitcase in hand and head to the station. As you are moving to a big new world, this new space is going to be a total different from the one you in which you had been investing in . Well technically , this big apple is about a duration of six hours away from your home but it took 19 years of your life span to finally get there.

The people of your city really have to work hard to run their livelihood. Being diligent is one of their core values but for you that is just not sufficient .You really want to capture everything what this world offers from a very young age you had this thing in your mind that money can give you recognition in the society and hence the ultimate happiness. You just want to grab the happiness of yourself.

It is not that you were not happy with your family rather staying away from that is going t o be difficult for you too and you that but after all you are doing this for them as choosing to be journalist is the their dream too .As you are drifting away from your core all this emotions came flooding back to you.To distract yourself and clear your head,you look outside the window the and fall asleep looking at the passing objects near by.

You suddenly woke up by a noise . Actually, it the sound of the new passenger .Half the journey had been completed and for the other you finally got a companion . Its's a relief as you will get some time to be distracted from your past. 

''Aman..." he introduces himself .

 "Aarti" , you said as with a bit lost voice. As if he drags you from your own thought.

Aman works in a software development company and had settled in New York for over 5 years now and was out of city for a week due to some personal work.Speaking with Aman you get to know that everyone's story starts from the scratch and you just have to believe in yourself.You mark each word.

As you reached your destination you saw a man in blue suit it appears to you as if he was overly dressed for this place later you get to know that this man has come from the office and you have to be present there too with him right away. It seems so odd as you had traveled almost six hours and not to mention with a heavy heart and they have not even given you time to relax, you guess maybe it is how the daily life is spent here.

You walked straight with the guy and headed towards the office.The time you reached there you could not belief your own eyes it was such a tall twenty story building , all painted in white with lavish furniture and well groomed staff. You were astonished by the whole scene. The guy told me to wait for the further notifications.

You waited in the waiting area with all the other interns . They all are also from different parts of the state .Later there you all were taken to the seminar room where the M.D. of the company address you all and wished all of you his best wishes. You got very excited and just wanted to get to your desk and start your work. 

But you get to know that the interns are not given their separate desks rather their only work there is to assist their mentor and learn work from them until they are hired.

You have to assist MS. Kate Jones.She is a news anchor and with this channel for a very long time and she is perfectly competent for her position.Your first meeting with her is something that you will be just icing on the cake .

The moment you enter in her cabin you slipped and to your notice she doesn't even bother to look at you .You felt really embarrassed and ashamed for yourself but most importantly disheartened as she doesn't even bother to look at you.

You quickly got yourself up and move towards her desk. She asks you to sit down . As mentioned earlier she is very professional in her work , she quickly assigns you your tasks for today and asked you to leave the room.

The tasks was to edit the content of the news and refer to relevant pictures with it .You started looking for the headlines first and started organizing it.As you were not allocated your own desks that's why you have to work in the room with other five interns .None of you were talking all busy to complete their own work and as fast as possible .

You took got busy in your task and once you completed it so go back to MS. Kate not to brag but she actually got impressed by your work now she asked your name and asked you to continue work like this.Finally something good happens in this office for you.

When you left the office you have to go in search for a hotel at a rate affordable by you.After a few mins of googling you get your place.You checked it and reaching your room you took sometime just you appreciate the beauty of the place and examined the fact that you have arrived at the city of your dream.

You called your family and describe your whole story to them .You describe your first day at your office, its environment with details as you don't want to miss anything.Your parents are in such a relief as you are alright and are extremely happy for you.

Your father tell you ""....you are a lost traveler but now you hold the compass.Promise to never look back at your muddy footprints.For you were meant to embrace the dust that lies ahead"".

You understand each and every word what he actually want you to understand.After hanging up the call you go to sleep .

As it is another big day tomorrow and your journey has just begin....
