A story about an incident of stealing in a travelling bus.

My story is entitled An incident of stealing in a travelling bus. David and a strange man were seated close in a bus on their journey to their hometown . This strange man seem to be giving away toffees and tells foolish stories, screaming and disturbing to the annoyance of the passengers in the bus. When the bus started , David felt like urinating so he went to the washroom at the latter end of the bus whilst the bus was still accelerating on the road. However visiting his hometown , David had about hundred thousand dollars in a suitcase in his possession. Again from the washroom he came back and opened the suitcase, he realized that the money was intact, no theft whatsoever. Davids money was intact but he could not realise the need to make it safer in the bus. He later hid the suitcase under the passenger seat in the presence of the strange man. David thought hiding the suitcase under the bus nothing could possibly happen to it. The strange man John was asleep in the corner of the bus . David did not talk to the strange man because he likes looking through the window. This strange man keeps on sleeping after his scream and makes disturbances with his wife Miss Manel. John the strange man always kept his hat on at all times in the presence of David. As the bus accelerated we realised that trees, fields, houses went quickly past the bus. John the strange man always kept his hat on in disguise to the other passengers in the bus who seems more of a criminal of some sort. This strange man was described as a man of long face and his ears were very thin and stood out away from his head. Again David jumped with surprise and happiness on hearing the news that he will have a share of the money upon delivering the money to his hometown. David was supposed to deliver this money to his relative William and Prince. Also for a long time in the city, David had missed his relatives . David also slept in the bus and he nearly fell off his seat in the bus. In the bus where he had fallen asleep as he was wondering about his life. In the bus, David awoke in the bus , whilst the bus was moving in acceleration. Whilst sleeping in the bus , David fell from his seat , amidst laughter and sympathy from other passengers . He found himself lying in the bus. David had a dream that he was being followed by criminals of some sort. Which was more of a bad dream. David realised in the dream that criminals were running after him due to the huge sum of money he had on him. He however remembered slowly that he was going to his hometown of course , David was going to Takoradi to visit his relatives both William and Prince. Also lo and behold his relatives were sitting waiting for Daniel to return with their share of the sum of money. In a moment , David awoke from his sleep realising that whilst he was awaken his knees were shaking because of the long sleep and dream in the bus. . However, David got up from the bus , to clean himself up after he fell from the bus seat. When he came later into the bus and looked under the bus, he realized the money together with the suitcase was gone. David thought it might be the strange man or the market women because there is a saying which says the market will rob you of your money. Also David had no other alternative but to report the incident to the bus driver. The bus driver was unhappy about the incident and stop for a search in the bus and asking other passengers, whilst others have already alighted from the bus. Then ,David asked the bus driver to alight at a nearby Police Station, where he went and made a report of his missing money. The Police cautioned David that he should have saved the money in the Bank. David was asked if he could possibly notice any suspect in the theft case. David seem to suspect both the strange man John and the market women of stealing his money but there was no evidence as to the case. The Police officers had to do their own investigations in regards to the theft case of the large sum of money being stolen. The bus driver also realized it was a mistake so he tried to made amends through some compensation to his passenger. The bus driver was very surprised he only paid a compensation of hundred dollars to David the passenger. So as David was thought a lesson this time, he was not allowed to keep huge sums of money on him when in a bus. The Police officers went in search of the criminals and realized it was the strange man, John and the market women embezzled the money from David secretly in the bus. The Police officers also realized that the bus driver was also an accomplice and a thief in the bus for not telling David they had the money but instead informed David that it was a mistake and compensated him with only hundred dollars. Since the Police officers were not satisfied about the issue they carried on their own investigations and found out that the bus driver, the strange man , John and the other market women were all accomplices in the theft case about the stolen money. One Friday , which was a day to and exhibit love, the Police officer noticed the faces of the bus driver and the passengers who were seated in the bus. The bus driver , together with the strange man and the market women had gathered together at the premises of a Banking Hall to share the money. Quiet unfortunately ,the Police officers were carrying out their own investigations and got the opportunity to arrest the bus driver, the strange man John and the market women for the alleged case of the missing money in the bus. The culprits including the bus driver , the strange man ,the strange man and market women claimed it was a mistake and they were trying to make amends by paying compensation through bribe to the Police officers but it all came to no avail , they were arrested by the Police officers. Finally the family of the culprits, the bus driver, the strange man John and other market women tried to make amends by compensating the Police officers claiming that it was a mistake , the arrested criminals were innocent . The Police officers had evidence of the stolen money in the possession of these culprits so they arrested them and handed the money back to David , but by then they embezzled about five thousand dollars from the suitcase. The Police officers asked for a compensation to be paid to David for their wrong doing in an amount of six thousand dollars for their wrong doing and theft case. Until then money is paid to David before they will all be realised ,it was an alarming issue. Lastly , David had no other alternative but to deliver the balance of the money to his relatives both William and Prince where he was compensated for all his efforts upon delivering the money with a sum of ten thousand dollars. Again David was also compensated by the Police for all the troubles he went through in regards to his stolen money where later he lived happily ever after with his family.
