Dawn Of A New Day

          Emily was passing the street while walking her way back to home when she noticed a new shop that was just opened where a old lady was selling flowers. Emily had a look at the shop and she had just turned to go to her home suddenly, she heard a voice from backside where the old lady was calling her. Emily went near the old lady. The old lady with a bright smile in her face told Emily dear take this flowers. Emily had forgotten her purse in home so, with hesitation she murmured to the old lady I didn’t bring the money I will take the flowers tomorrow. The old lady gave the flowers for free to Emily and forced her to take them. Emily was surprised and had so many questions in her mind she had a lot of confusion but as the old lady insisted her she took the flowers and went to home and kept the flowers with great care.

         Many days passed and each day when Emily was walking in front of the old lady’s shop she used to see the old lady and smile. There was some connection that Emily felt when she used to see the old lady. She felt happy to see her. Emily always used to visit the shop and buy flowers. The old lady used to smile a lot but she never used to talk much. She was always in some sort of tension and worry still she used to cover all her pain using a smile. Emily always wanted to know why the old lady is always smiling without any talk. Emily used to buy flowers from her shop in regular basis and the old lady and Emily exchanged their talks only with smile.

         One morning Emily went to her office where she found that the company was going to shut down due to some financial issues. Emily was in utter tension as she was the one who had to pay the rent of her house and also look after her brother’s education. Emily’s parents had an accident and they passed away, since then Emily being the elder one had to look after all the expenses. Emily was shattered after listening to the news of her company shutting down. She went home from office with all sorts of weight in her head. While going home she noticed that in the old lady’s shop a man was screaming and shouting to her. She went to her and asked her what happened. Then the old lady with tears in her eyes said my son wants me to put in an old age home and when I said him that I will pay my expenses by selling flowers he said that it will degrade his reputation. Emily after listening to old lady’s painful story was in tears and told the old lady to come with her. The old lady first refused but after Emily forced her then she agreed to go with her. Emily consoled her.

         Emily shared her story with the old lady and said when I see you I feel like I am seeing my mom I feel so safe and pleasant as I lost my mom and dad in an accident seeing you it feels like she is still alive. She also asked her why she gave her flowers for free that day and told the old lady that she has still kept those flowers with her. The old lady was pleased to hear that Emily had still kept the flowers with herself and she said that I was not happy but wanted to see others happy so I gave flowers for free at the end of the day to make them happy and always used to smile as I wanted to put smile in everybody's face. Emily was touched by the words of the old lady. Emily said that I lost my job today and I had no hope left as I also have to look after my brother but seeing you I got my confidence back even when you are in pain you wanted to make others happy. The old lady also praised Emily and thanked her for helping her. Listening to the words of the old lady gave Emily a new raise of hope and Emily decided not to give up and find a new job and also decided to look after the old lady. The old lady resumed her flower business without getting scared from her son as she had broken all the relations with her son and warned her son to stay away from her. Emily later got a new job by the reference of previous company. The old lady found a daughter in Emily and Emily and her brother got a caring mother. Even if they didn’t have same blood but they had same feelings and respect for each other which made them become a beautiful new family.

         Emily and the old lady had gone through rough times they got each other’s support like a family. Emily got inspired by old lady as she never gave up even in difficult times and old lady was happy to see a kind person like Emily in the cruel world. A new family was formed where both had someone to share their feelings and pain with. Even if they didn't had same blood flowing through their veins, the love towards each other made a unbreakable bond which lead to a happy family. Emily and her brother were missing the love of the mother and the old lady whose son wanted to put her in an old age home was missing the care and love she deserved from her son. Both were in difficult situations which made them realize that love of the family is all they need to survive. Both got a beautiful relation with each other which was full of respect. Emily and the old lady lived together happily with each other.
