Adventure Fantasy Science Fiction

This sun in this galaxy was going to explode, create a black hole ripped in the universe.

The advanced humans on this earth like planet had found out when it would by measuring time.

All suns live for billions of years; no one really knows for sure how long, it happens suddenly like a blink in a second.

Basically, explosion happens creates a hole, a vacuum in the space time continuum, a rip.

This sucks everything in around it, whole galaxies - a galaxy is a cluster of planets surrounding a star which is the sun.

The sun gives life to this planet now, let’s calls it earth 2, for show, and allows life to exist.

The sun creates the seasons, summer, spring, winter and autumn. By the earth going around the sun, on a rotating axis, moving closer or further away.

Closer summer, further away winter. Without sun, trees would not reach for sunlight, proto -synthesis would not occur, the very cells in a leaf reacting to sunlight and growing.

Without sun the animals that eat those plants would die, the bees would die that pollinate the fruit and vegetables for us to eat.

The predator animals would die that eat the prey ones that eat trees and grass, which is Darwinism, the Theory of Evolution.

So that is Earth 2, and they knew the sun was going to die. They did this by predicting sun flares more than the size of Earth and the flares were growing less and less in size-they were dying.

A storm was happening inside the sun, made of fire, like God had lit a match and it never ceased to burn.

But fire requires fuel, a source to burn like wood or anything combustible, with no one was quite sure what source was inside the sun.

These humans from Earth 2 had explored planets; they had done this by creating a giant Ark in space bit by bit, transported in rockets carrying the payload, to be assembled over thousands of years.

That took dedication, that took written memory so vast, that that it went beyond any bibles we know.

But they could not fit the whole human population of Earth 2 on this one Ark.Trees, animals, water - life. A lot of people had to be left behind to ponder now -what will it feel like for the world to go black?.

An explosion so quick, so massive, it took planets with it, well you would not know, in a second you would be gone. Obliterated from existence.

The Ark had already gone on anyway, finding let’s say, Earth 3 and life was slowly being created there. Releasing all the animals much like Noah did with the first Ark.

They did not need to terraform this planet, basic life was there, rudimentary yes, but the basics were there.

Water, sun, plants and microbial life.In the fresh water and seas. So they just let their basics of life go, in hoof and claw, leaf and flower and fish and whale.

Let nature work it out, and roll the dice. While these twenty thousand people got to work on building homes, hospitals, highways to travel to and from in between.

Schools of thought were set up to study the planet, what threats existed if any, and teams were sent out to take samples, of how the indigenous microbes would affect the introduced flora and fauna.

It was a lot to do, a project so vast it was beyond imagining. But these were human beings and they could achieve anything, if not by knowledge, by sheer will alone.

This all took thousands of years again, to build the Ark and populate the planet, generations being born and dying.

Poets creating songs about the new planet, scientists, naming the way animals were evolving into new sub species. Entirely new, changed, altered.

There were no wars, not big ones; they had made sure to wipe the knowledge of metallurgy to create weapons from the data base in the Ark itself. Making man, take another thousand years, to re-learn this.

Yes, groups were formed, they always are. Disagreements turn into fights, and fights become battles.

But they didn’t happen very often, because the whole concept of money had been wiped from the original Arks data base, not much to fight about.

So the weapon was always there in the mind of man, that’s just man, but not filling the memory banks had entirely slowed the process on Earth 3.

The seas were the best. Two whales, as an example, had been introduced to the sea, and by radar tracking, they were monitored, two humpbacks.

They had bred. The gestation period of a humpback is relatively the same as a human – nine months. So determining that, a thousand years you had a thousand whales first generation, and those babies grew up and bred too.

So one thousand plus one thousand, well its expotential.

This was all of course relative, to the various fish species breeding; it was all hand in hand.

The song of a humpback is like an angel singing under the sea, long and plaintive and questioning at the same time. Where are you? I am here. Stay beside me, I can see you but my eyes don’t see that far.

But I know you are there. Memory has taught me how to hunt, genetic memory. I can sense the warm water in the sea through my skin, where fish are usually bountiful.

I hunt by opening my mouth up, taking in vast amounts of water with a few fish, I can repeat this over and over, but have to do this my whole life, but with such grace and skill.

I do not understand other species of whale calls, I hear them, but the meaning is lost to me, as I cannot hold a book.

This is a sample of life on earth 3, and it is magnificent. But let’s get back to our dying sun, and the original galaxy we spoke about, Earth 2, and really we have all the time in the world.
