The Journey

I have been here waiting for 15 min for my order to arrive at my table, i am in a restaurant near the road going to mexico it was my dream to go mexico, so i collected money and ran away from daily life to live. I am coming from America there i do a job of a writer in a magazine not a job everyone would like but it pays right amount and i am to lazy to go somewhere else. Here is my order finally i ordered Mexican tacos with jalapeño sauce its famous here. I ate and came out to my car got ready to go to mexico.

I have been driving for two hours now i think i will be there by tomorrow morning the road is nice and has no traffic its a smooth ride

I opened the compartment box of my car and there were so many bills piling in there from my daily eating at restaurant, i put my recent bill too inside and closed it its going to dark soon have too sleep i have been driving for too long and now my back hurts my body aches and my eyes are closing. Its 2 am as my watch shows in the morning. I will park nearby in a hotel parking lot and will sleep in my car because its safe and cost effective I don't want to spend too much on hotels. I parked my car in a hotel and got out to stretch my legs and get some pure air i have been in this car for too long it feels like forever. There are stars twinkling in the sky what a beautiful view at this time of the year the sky is very clear and its easy to see stars clouds and the moon, i should sleep now, i opened my travel bag and took out my blanket and slept in the back seat.

Today is a new day a new beginning a very beautiful day indeed i slept well last night it feels like i slept but i didn't knew i was sleeping its feels like normal like i have been sleeping since too long. Now i am hungry i am going to find a cafe and get my morning coffee. I started car and here we go again there is a cafe at the left side of the road i can stop there. I parked my car and got inside the cafe, a bell rang as i opened the gate "tin" "tin" and i sat on an empty table there were not so many people here maybe because its early morning, it was just me and the man behind the desk right across my table and the cafe guy. I ordered a black coffee and a bun it will be enough. And i got my order in no time. It was nice black coffee in a white cup on a white table cloth the cup has beautiful blue flowers on it. I ate the bun it was tasty and soft and the coffee was good too its a money worth place. After i ate i paid the bill and left some tip. I went to my car and was ready to go again when i saw that man who was sitting across me he was not there sitting anymore but how he didn't leave while i was inside and not even with me maybe he has gone to the toilet. I started engine and got back on the road the i put bill again in the compartment. I don't remember what date is today i looked around at the cafe but there was no calender and i didn't ask i thought he will laugh that I don't know what date is today. When i left home it was 1 march and i am on road since two days so according to my calculation it should be 3 march today i will be there in an hour or maybe i should be there by now but i am not, I don't understand why i drove fast and the road was clear i should have reached there. Maybe its my calculation that is wrong but somehow diesel of my car is still almost full even though i haven't stopped at any petrol pump to get the tank full how it still full after two days and how there is only me on the every road i go and every restaurant looks familiar even though i have never been to mexico before. I thought i should ask somebody what day it is there is shop near by i can ask there so i stopped my car in front a small shop and there was a man sitting inside of around 40 years i asked him "Hello sir what is the date today". He said " its 1 march" . I was shocked i thought he is kidding so i asked but how it was 1 march two days ago it can't be march 1 today then he showed me the news paper pointed towards date i saw it says 1 march 2007. What the hell! I asked how it could be 2007 when i left home it was 2019. He laughed "2019 son it looks like you have been on road too long you should rest its been 2007 since 3 months now". My mind was not able to think anymore how the did that happen and when. I immediately got out of my car and asked the what place is this he said are you mad its central america. What! I was here two days ago and still here i could not understand what is happening and i fell and got out of consciousness.

When i woke up i was in a room behind the small shop it looked like i fell and the man took me with him to his home, it was a small but nice room neat and clean and there was newspaper on the table, i got up and picked up one it still says 1 march 2007 i instantly went out to my car said thankyou to the man and was on the road again I don't know what the hell has happened i opened my compartment of bills and took out a bill it says today is 1 march, i took out another bill it also says 1 march 2007 all of the bills in the compartment is of same date and year it feels like i have been on this road since too long. I was driving very fast and was very scared and looking at the bills when i hit another car in front of me it was so hard hit that it opened air bags of my car and i was looking towards the car it was a SUV of red colour but even though the crash nobody came out of car, i was afraid maybe i hit them very hard they must have gotten hurt i got out of my car and slowly reached the red car i opened the gate and what i saw it was me infront of my eyes lying on the staring wheel like i hit my head i got so scared i fell on the ground.

When i woke up i was in a hospital on a bed and my head hurts there was An iv drip and a glucose bottle attached to my hand by a needle and then a nurse came in she was looking at some papers when she came inside and when she saw me she ran out and called Doctor he is awake and suddenly doctors came and checked me and asked me what i can remember i told them everything and they said i have been here since 3 days, i was in a coma. I asked how did i get here there said there was an accident on the highway to Mexico in which i hit a road barrier and Emt took me here and from then i was in coma. I asked what day it is. Nurse said 3 march i asked which year, she got surprised and said 2019 it means i wake in coma the whole journey.
