Jaden:

You know when I first started hacking it was the most thrilling thing that I had ever done. For years that was how I entertained myself and kept myself busy. It felt good knowing that I was good at something not many people could do. After being put down for years because of my lack of trying to learn at school by my stepdad I gave up. I hated the way he always targeted me and coddled his stupid kids. It was like my mom had a curtain blocking her view of all the abuse occurring. But you know going to visit my dad was always a treat. He never judged me for my choice of decisions and how I went on with life. Me and my dad always bonded over everything he was the man that taught me the basics of working a computer since he was an engineer. My mom used to be observant but that dwindled away as time went by and she got stuck with that douchebag.

With my hacking came the actual gift/curse that I experience on a day to day basis. Being able to see ghosts hurts me sometimes because they still have a grudge against the way they died or the fact that they even died. Hearing their stories makes my soul ache but they need it to pass on, so I stay there and listen to them. My girlfriend who actually cares about her education knows about my secret and my dad but that is all. I couldn’t risk telling my mom and her having her husband treat me worse for it along with his kids. Arabel, my girlfriend tends to take care of me during these hardships but I don’t like bothering her with it since she has back to back school and work. Stress isn’t my field. I like to keep myself occupied by hacking for the elite group I work for. Enough with the background information, let’s go back to the present.

“West, we need backup leading to the heist we fucked up.” our second in command Jacob said incoherently.

“On their way sir, make sure you guys don’t get caught up. You know I hate actually having to get up from my spot just so I could hack y'all out from the jailing system.”

“Hahaha you’re funny now hurry your ass up and tell them to come quickly”

Now this is the story of how I got myself caught up with an ultimate illegal group that consists of the most notorious and intelligent people to walk this earth. Each one of them are pros at their skill or job or they wouldn’t be here. The way each and everyone of us got recruited holds strong emotions and some type of comedy. Our leader, the Vandercoop couple consisting of Lara and James have taken us under their wing and raised most of us on the side and looked out for us majority of our lives. The middle-age couple who soon going to be old helped me with mastering my art of seeing ghosts as well as helping them overcome their fears of the afterlife which is keeping them stuck on earth and my love for hacking.

Most of the ghosts are categorized in section 1 meaning they just want to move on but are afraid of going to a new place. Some categorize in section 2 meaning they have a grudge against them or are mad at someone, so they can’t enter the afterlife until their soul is free of hatred and guilt. Lastly, we have section 3 those who have evil inside their soul which is self-made and enjoy the pain that comes off others for their own sanity. Those are the most difficult to convince because you can never find the root of their self-made hatred. Most of those cases take the longest to help them move on for many reasons with one of them being my body can’t take the energy and darkness they form. It brings me to the brink of sickness which doesn’t come easy to me and the Vandercoops know when to pull me out. I’ve had times where I couldn’t move from my bed for a whole week or longer, those are caused by the crazy ghosts. Advice to you never try to calm a annoyed baby ghost by giving them candy and cooing them. It was the worst thing to happen to me in my 17 years of living and the team didn’t let me off easily taking up to a whole month and half to stop mocking me. I couldn’t even blame them it was some pretty funny stuff. I learned my lesson after that and stayed far away from kid ghosts. Those little devils.

Oh let’s go back to my girlfriend. Arabel is the sweetest soul to exist and doesn’t pick on my flaws. She knows about the team and they welcomed her with open hands and even let her help out around the house since she basically lives there with me. Arabel lives with her sweet aunt who took her up when both her parents died in an accident. It affected her immensely but not long after I met her and made it my mission to make her smile back when I still attended school. We both attended the William Johnson School. It consisted of a elementary, middle, and high school where most kids who lived in Sydney went to. The day I met her is still stuck with me. She was wearing a light pink dress with her favorite black lace and latex boots. Arabel is the perfect mix of a girly girl and goth. She mixes her style so that both fit her. I never met anyone who could rock a smokey dark eye with an extremely light blue dress. Its one of the things I love about her. We met during 7th grade and first started off as friends but once we got to high school and had been best friends for 3 years I decided to ask her out. Best decision of my life. After that I took care of her whenever she would have her episodes and help her overcome her grief.
