Tree🌳 of Kindness💖

Once, there lived an old merchant. He had only one daughter, Scarlett who was kind, gentle, and caring. One day, the merchant fell sick and only laid on his bed for the rest of the day. As a kind young woman, she was, Scarlett took care of her father gently.

One day, Scarlett found out that her father had a serious sickness, so she called for the best doctors in the kingdom, as she doesn't know what to do. When the doctors arrived, they found out that the merchant had rabies. One of the doctors said: "He will take about 5 days to recover but if you want the timeline to be shorter, then we will have to take him to the hospital." Scarlett didn't know what to say but take her father to the hospital. And the merchant was terrified when he heard what his daughter said but could do nothing to avoid going to the hospital since the decision was made by his own beloved daughter.

After the merchant was taken to the hospital, Scarlett was all alone in her mansion all by herself. It's clear that she really misses her father. The next day, she received a call from a doctor at the hospital. He had said that the next day, her father will recover. Scarlett was so happy that she leaped in joy. She was so happy that the next day she will finally see her father as happy as usual. As it was nighttime, Scarlett immediately went to sleep. And that night, she dreamed about an old fairy talking to her about some family spirits and angels.

The next day, Scarlett was delighted to see that her father outside the door. She quickly let her father in and prepare a hearty meal for both of them. The merchant was also very happy to see his daughter. After the meal, Scarlett asked her father what he experienced at the hospital. Her father told her everything step by step. Scarlett was very surprised because she went to a hospital before. After that, Scarlett asked her father to go shower but they were out of soap. So, Scarlett had to go to the soap shop to get more soap to use and store for later.

On the way there, she someone very familiar but she couldn't recognize that person at all. The old woman told her: "My child, you are the merchant's daughter right? Scarlett said yes, of course. The old lady smiled and then said: "Could you be kind enough to bring me, this old woman, to him? I have to discuss important matters with him." Scarlett immediately brought the old woman to her mansion. After that, Scarlett went to buy a ton of soap for storage. After coming back home, she found out that the old woman was her fairy godmother that passed away when she was just a baby. She invited her fairy godmother to dine with them. Her fairy godmother agreed to dine with Scarlett and her father because she wanted to get to know her a little bit more so that she can find out what personalities does Scarlett have since she had no chance to see her.

After dining with her fairy godmother, Scarlett found out that she wanted to live with her fairy godmother in her mansion, so she asked her: "Fairy godmother, could you please live with us in our mansion?" the fairy godmother said: "If you want me to live with you, I would love to but, God had told me that when somebody wants me to live with them, that person needs to go to the tree of kindness to gather kindness for all the people in their kingdom. And that is all that I can say, my dear." Scarlett was determined to go. Her fairy godmother told her that some angels will test her kindness to get to the tree of kindness on the way there. Scarlett accepted the adventure.

When Scarlett reached the shore she bid farewell to her father and sailed through the ocean awaiting an adventure coming towards her. After she reached the kind angels island, she saw the tree of kindness. Then she asked one of the kind guardian angels: "Can you please test my kindness now?" That guardian angel asked her: "What do you do when you see your kingdom all poor except you and the king?" Scarlett answered: "I'll ask the king to help me donate money to the whole kingdom generously." The guardian angel said: "Your answer was very thoughtful. You may pass and gather whatever you want from here. Some angels will be preparing gifts for and then you go and gather kindness from the tree of kindness for your kingdom to remain kind as usual."

She gathered some food that some of the angels gave her and gathered some kindness for her kingdom from the tree of kindness too. After that adventure, Scarlett sailed back to the kingdom's shore. When she reached there, she found her dearest father and fairy godmother waiting for her there. She quickly carried all the things she got out and ran to hug her dearest father. Then, her fairy godmother took the sack of kindness and spread it throughout the kingdom. So, the kingdom's evil deeds vanished, and kindness replaced it. And, that day start, the villagers lived happily in the kind kingdom and even the king himself offered Scarlett and her father tons of money. Scarlett used the money to donate to the poor, and everyone was proud of her so all the villagers called her Kind Scarlett. Scarlett also became her school's president and everyone in the school became friends with her.

So, the moral of this story is to be kind and make your family and friends happy just like how Scarlett made her kingdom kind and prosperous. And also, remember to help old beggars on the street because they're going to be so cold at night without any food to eat and they won't have any warm clothes.
