Throughout my 30-year career as a licensed plumber, I have gained expertise in wielding wrenches, installing pipes, fixing toilets, and replacing water heaters. March 2023 ignited my desire to write. Despite the short deadline, I joined a prompt contest on Reedsy. It was not good. Regrettably, I entered the contest with a rushed piece of writing. Regardless, I found joy in writing the story and am determined to keep going.
