Based on my writing struggles.

Trust me, a lot of things come in life with no hard work, but a lot of things come with practice. At first I never thought I would be able to write. I've always thought my stories were trash, but I've realized, things come with practice, if you want to be good at something you have to practice. Here's how I struggled with being confident with myself, mostly being confident with my writing.

“Clara!” Mom yelled

“Coming mom” Clara responded angrily looking at the trash can filled with crumpled up paper balls. Clara runs down the stairs for dinner. “Hey mom...Hey dad..” Clara Said while sighing

“Whats up Clara? Is something wrong?” Her dad questioned.

“Its just, I can't seem to write. Every story I write is always trash..” Clara responded.

“Why do you say that? Your stories are wonderful!” Mom bugged into the conversation.

“I never can write, in writing I always get the lowest grade.” Clara Replied with a shrug.

We continued dinner without a peep. I ran to my room to pick up the pencil and brainstorm ideas. “Do you have any ideas, Pebbles?” Clara asked?

Pebbles Meowed.

“Ugh, your no help.” Clara whispered.

The same thing kept on repeating each day but...day by day I actually wrote stories!

                                                             3 Months later

“Clara?! This is the 10th time I'm calling you! Come down right now!” Clara’s mom yelled.

“One second! I'm writing my story for homework!” Clara responded from her bedroom.

Clara ran down stairs after a few minutes.

“Taa-Daa! My Story!” Clara said while showing her mom.

“Hurry up and head to school, the teachers will love it!” Mom said.

                                                          At the Classroom

Clara hands over the story to the teacher. "I hope she likes it!" Clara thought. Clara closes her eyes..."Clara?" "Clara?!" She heard faint yelling. "Sorry Mrs. Scott! I fell asleep I'm so sorry!"

"Its okay just dont fall asleep again." She said

                                                               After class

“Clara! I loved your story! This is a great one! I believe you have great potential! Remember, A lot of things come in life with no hard work, but a lot of things come with practice.” Clara’s Teacher said with a smile.

Clara looked onto the grade.

“I got 100%!” She thought in her head as she walked home.

"Mom! Mom! Mom?" Clara said. She ran upstairs to her mom's bedroom.

"Hello Clara!" Her mother said while rocking her baby brother.

Clara Kisses her brother on the head and continues talking.

"Okay so look! I got 100% on my story!" Clara exclaimed.

"Good job!" Her mother smiled. "Now, I'm going to put your brother to sleep for his nap." Her mother laughed."

"Oh okay!" Clara said while running to her bedroom. Clara was pacing across her bedroom waiting for her dad to come home from work. She got a bored and started playing Animal Crossing on her switch.

"OMG ABLE SISTER'S HAS SOME CUTE KIMONOS! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!" Clara exclaimed. After an hour of playing she heard the door open down stairs and ran to her dad with the paper.

"Dad look!" Clara Said happily.

"Wow! You got 100%! Good job!" Her dad said with a smile.

Clara ran back up stairs to continue playing Animal crossing.

"Hmm maybe I should farm my-" Clara got interrupted.

"Clara! Can you keep an eye on your brother while I make dinner?" Her mother questioned.

"Sure!" Clara Said as she got her toy blocks out of the cabinet.

She watched her brother play as she sat there. After 30 minutes or so her mother came back to get Clara's Brother, Finn.

"Come down for dinner honey." Her mother Said.

"Okay mom!" she said going down the stairs.

The rest of the night was pretty lowkey, ate dinner, Watched some tv, brushed my teeth and went to bed. Clara dreamt about becoming an author. That morning Clara told her mother that she wanted to be an author.

"Mom! I know what I want to be when I grow up!" Clara exclaimed with glee.

"What?" Her mother said while putting Finn in his high chair.

"An Author!"

"An author? wow! I thought you didn't like writing?" her mom said confused.

"After Practicing a lot I realized its really fun!" Clara said. "Practicing was all I needed to do!" Clara added.

Clara walked over to the park and thought about story ideas.

"I wonder if I could make fantasy stories or even documentaries!" Clara Thought in her head walking towards the fountain.

SPLASH.

"Ow...." Clara said.

"Oh no! I'm all wet" she said as she giggled. She walked home and walked inside to see her mother in the kitchen. "Oh hey mom" She giggled.

"Why are you wet Clara?!" She questioned.

"Funny story.. I wasn't watching where I was going and I sorta ran into the fountain and fell in it!" Clara said.

"aww are you okay? also go take a shower before dinner." her mom said.

"Okay! And yeah I'm okay!" she said while running upstairs.

The rest of the night was normal, dinner, Tv, brushing my teeth and bedtime.

I thought and thought more about becoming an author, as I deeply thought and thought I started to close my eyes and fall asleep.

So it took a few months but I practiced a lot and I learned how to write a story. It took a lot of practice but I practiced hard and I learned how to write! Its a thing I mostly struggled, I never thought I would be able to but I did, with tons of practice. Remember, A lot of things come in life with no hard work, but a lot of things come with practice. There is no such thing as skill. Not in this world. You have to practice in order to achieve your goals. Skill comes with practice and when you practice meets with your goals. We all have something we're bad at but if we practice we can succeed in our goals!
