Adventure Drama Mystery

To better understand the consequences of believing something that may or may not end, it is better to only half believe it ever existed. Anyone who wants to believe they will live forever (here on earth) is almost always fooling themselves with the notion that they are invincible. This is the story of someone who was out of time from the day they were born, and yet were living their own lives as wreckless and as hapless as they could possibly live it. This started even from birth where they followed a simple idea and expanded on it with brutal force, only to feel short changed each time they would feel they had succeeded yet only to be let down once more. How can be left, at that final moment and the final end, standing in the shadow of their once great presence. How can they ever realize that the end had come calling and had handed them the most dreaded piece of news? It was this very moment that bears down upon someone who may be fighting for their own existence, fighting for their own will to live, even for but a moment, a second longer. To try and hide or to run away from the very thing that made them show fear in their fearless face, to shake and tremble like an old man, to become scared beyond measure. How can they actually understand that when their runs out and ends, they know it is too late. They feel the cold and the death is all too real. They run in like a fool, ever so blindly, ever so wishing they had a deal to cut with the devil, yet all they receive is laughter as they bow their heads in shame and disgrace. Yet in their minds, they want to be given more than their mere mortal souls can pay for, much less actually spend even if they are given that to use. It is with much weight that reminds them of a time they were once much bigger and much more so than this. They reach out for a lifeline, reach out for a way to make it better than before, only to be given fool's gold in exchange. They believe that it is meant for someone else, that it is another's time to go, to come to an end, but they see that it is instead their own. To beg, to plead, to hope, to wish for, to know that it is all real. The ticking of the clock on the wall, that horror sound of the striking of alarm, then the knock on the door. The rapid pulse, the heart beating faster in time with the rapping on the door. They are then standing alone with only their thoughts, before a blank and unforgiving face as they stare at the face, they only see the one who will judge them, which is a mirrored reflection of themselves. They are to be judged by none other than themselves. Oh how this seems like a cruel joke and how can this be that they are judged by the one person that they never realized whom might judge or not judge them fairly. They scream and shout out to see who will hear them, only their efforts are responded to in vain. They see, they feel, they know, they are tormented by many thoughts that are presently useless in their defense. They was to know how it came, how it was present, where did it come from, and what will the outcome be for them, so defenseless, so helpless. To not wake up, for this must be a dream, a mirage, and deep dark thought. But no it's very real and it's very much part of one's former existence. It can makes itself more real than reality and can be more harmful than anything one ever imagined. It can give no support can, give no positive words to help ease the fear and regret. It can only give nothing since it feels nothing, nor can it offer nothing, yet it only gives what it has available, the very fear you feel, the very things that make you scared and help you fall farther until you are just a memory. A faded memory, that may only be in people's minds but for a second, then gone, gone into oblivion. To run out of or run away from time can make one believe that time will never end and will go on forever. To run out of time means that the end will come like a thief in the night and will only steal from you, will destroy you, will leave you without words to speak, without thoughts to think, without memories to share, without anything to listen to or reply to, because time will by now have ran out, will have left you without. The great void will be seen by many but only remembered by few. The moment time ends, will be like a fleeting minute on the clock, you will rush towards this, to stop it, yet it evade you. You will not realize that no matter how to achieve what you wish to achieve, it will only leave you wanting more and more will never come or happen. You will become like a vapor, will become like a distant memory, like you never was or never will be again. You will be like waiting on a bus to take you somewhere that never shows up, or a flight that is delayed permanently. You will see others but to them you are just a ghost, just a cloud in the sky, here one minute then gone the next. You will hang on for dear life, yet yours left before you are aware of that taking place. You seek but never find, you speak but are never heard, and you knock but never are any doors opened up for you. When you finally realize it and the point sinks in, you finally know that you have ran out of time.

Interesting idea of death. This was a bit hard to read. It felt like it could be a narration read over a screenshot of someone's life. I'm left wanting to hear more about this person's story.
