The City roared with enthusiasm, all throughout the marketplace the town folks were bustling en masse, stopping to converse and to purchase wares. Merchants from far and wide gathered to the town to sell there goods every autumn and every autumn there is more merchants eager to sell at Engala Market in Cornuthal.

With the growing industry taking place and the advancements of steam powered machinery Cornuthal has become somewhat of haven for all manner of commerce and trade. The population has been growing daily and with the influx of people a few undesirables will inevitably sneak through the cracks. Crime in certain parts of the city has been exploding of late, from robbery, vandalism, rape and all other perverse and debaucheruos behavior.

There must always be a balance however and the Crime will always need an equal. Enter Erin Mere, she has seen the evil of that has befallen this land first hand when here fiancé met a terrible end trying to stand up to a thief in the streets. She was left broken hearted and abandoned in a city that was being engulfed in a sea of darkness. However instead of turning to the convent or the comfort of a bar overnight she decided to take matters into her own hands.

As the moon rose in the night sky she perched herself up on an awning taking in the night life of the Bleekwood Streets. People in the streets were already stumbling from to much drink. Walking with three legs instead of one, they couldn't stay straight. Perfect targets for the thieves that hunt this street. They wouldn't even feel a hand in their pocket thought Erin. As she sat perched in her vantage, it was hard not to take in the marvel this city has become. Lamps lined the street with dazzling electricity and steam rose from vents in the streets. The old cobblestone still wet with rain reflected in the luminance of the future. If only the people of this city could be so bright She thought. However she knew that advancement and decline go hand and hand. Erin looked onward to a couple admiring each other and the life they have in this bright new city. The Women touched the mans shoulder and her stomach. She must be pregnant Erin though as a tear rolled down her face thinking of her lost love.

As the tear rolled off her face in to the streets, like the dropping of the last sand in an hour glass, she witness a figure snatch something from the mans pocket and meander on. The couple to engrossed in each other were blissfully unaware of there now missing goods. Erin saw the chance and leaped from the perch and begin to pursue the figure. Bobbing through folks through Bleekwood she never lost her mark. Eagle eyes on her prey, she followed the figure into the bar. the perfect place. The bar was crowded with drunkards more than half were itching for a fight. She approached a table and hurled a glass across the room at the biggest man she saw and slid out of sight. The entire bar was in an uproar as fist were being thrown and chairs breaking backs, Erin saw her mark at the bar and begin to engage the dizzying drunk dance that filled the room, throwing punches and weaving through gracefully till she collided with the figure. " Oi sowry mate," she snagged the ring from his pocket as they collided "bit of a brawl ye' se' best ye' should be innit aswel'" She grabbed by the shoulders and hurled him into the fray as she made her escape.

I hope the I can still find that couple. She ran to where she first them and they were still there it looked like they found out about there loss and looking any which way to find what they had lost. as she got closer she could here " Honey how I can help you find what you lost if you won't tell me what it is" the women said. "I just can't tell you okay its to important and I feel a fool for misplacing it."

"Exuse me" Shouted Erin "is this what you're looking for then." She was holding up the item as she walked forward. "Yes o yes this is it thank you where did find it" the man asked.

"listen you were pickpocketed, you ought to be more careful lucky I was here to pick it back, the city is getting more dangerous and if your going to bring a kid into it you can't be so careless."

"Well thank you, miss" said the Women " How can we repay you"

"Just take care of your kid, and that'll be enough of payment."
