We go inside places like laboratories and spacecraft specifically to learn their secrets. However, we are frequently taken aback when we learn startling information. Max Wison, a young journalist, will have his life turned upside down by the horrifying employees he uncovered on his previous visit. Max Wilson, the son of a farmer, has been interested in journalism ever since he was a kid, and he has worked hard to become a serious journalist. He commutes to Sydney from his home in Taxes to work for Australia's preeminent news organization. His aspirations are lofty. After a string of successful sting operations, he rises to become the company's most prominent journalist. His ultimate goal in life is to work as a journalist in Australia so that he can interview Dr. Derek Webber, the country's greatest and youngest scientist, who is studying the mechanisms of memory suppression. Dr. Derek claims that by mastering their memories, humans may eliminate their negative emotions and focus solely on the positive experiences they've had. Max, who has been fascinated by science and technology ever since he was a kid, is eager to learn about Dr. Derek's latest research. Max is interested in this because it complements his ambition to become a journalist. As word of Derek's amazing invention spreads via the media, he will soon have the chance of a lifetime. Max, after gaining permission from his supervisor to enter the facility, plans how to do so because the scientists won't let anyone else in on their secrets. Max intends to enter the laboratory and pretend to be a lab assistant. Max is finally allowed to see Derek in his lab after years of planning, but as soon as he does, he abandons his plan. When he speaks, only one word comes out: "You." Alex Standly and Max had been friends ever since they were young. The two gentlemen share a love of all things scientific and technological. Max had always been exceptionally bright, but Alex had always been a spoiled privileged kid. Alex has spent his entire adult life engaging in destructive behaviors. However, in the guys' senior year of college, Alex cheated his way to victory in a science competition, in which he and Max both participated. And Max decides to pursue his other professional interest—journalism—only to learn too late that Alex had been being dishonest the whole time. In contrast, Alex sets up shop in his basement with the intention of doing harm to humanity rather than good. Since that day in their senior year, when the incident occurred, Alex and Max had lost contact with one another. So, Max doesn't know about Alex, but he's harboring a lot of resentment for what Alex did to him that day. So, Max will tell Alex how he feels about his cheating. Max is currently avoiding confrontation with Alex by keeping their identities secret as he gets to know him better by playing along. Alex (Derek) took a shower at home one day while working together on a different project. Max is startled to hear a woman's sighing cry. When he finally locates her, he is heartbroken to see her in such a sorry situation. She is in a terrible state of fear and distress. There is visible fear in her eyes as she stares at Max. After seeing Max often in secret for a few days, the girl gradually becomes his friend. After a few days of Max keeping her clean and feeding her, she is glowing with health and beauty. Max has a new idea to find out anything he wants to know from that girl. When Max least expects it, a fantastic opportunity presents itself in the form of a phone call informing Alex that he must leave immediately for a one-week trip related to his new research on brain control. Once Alex left for the tour, Max let the girl go and brought her home. One night, he asks the girl how she knew Derek was really Alex and how they met. The girl breaks down in tears and reveals all. The Webbers, Derek, and Philipa, were overjoyed to become parents to a little girl they named Stessy. Philipa's only complaint about her spouse is that he is always gone on business. Alex, an unnamed man, visits Derek at his lab one day with the intention of working there as an assistant. Derek, oblivious to his sly ways, hires him. Alex quickly earns Derek's trust, and the latter chooses to let him in on a little secret about his new memory-control study. Alex and Derek began working on the project together, but on the day Derek completed the blueprint, Alex murdered him. He then continued working on the project under a new identity, assuming the name Derek. When Phillipa finds out what's going on, Alex kills her, too, and abducts Stessy; later, when she's an adult, he keeps her locked in that room, feeds her only once, and sexually assaults and tortures her numerous times a day. Max's wrath towards Alex grows rapidly. Stessy also warns Max that Alex will destroy the world if he succeeds in his quest. Hearing this, Max promptly sets out to destroy whatever Alex was working on before his arrival, and he eventually succeeds in doing so. Alex enters, and like a bat out of hell, Stessy's owner immediately rushes to the room where he keeps her, only to be taken aback by the absence of his beloved pet. He breaks into Max's house, where he rapes and kills Stessy by strangling her. Max was unable to save Stessy, although he did stab Alex in the back as he was killing Stessy in the last stages. Max stabs Alex once in self-defense but is arrested and taken to jail for a day along with Alex. Max is now unemployed and spending his days at home after this tragedy. He isolates himself at home and is perpetually miserable as a result. However, once his boss suggests a doctor, he receives treatment and is able to move on with his life. Although this experience caused Max to lose interest in science, he will soon return to his journalism career.
