The word forgiveness is mostly used by individuals who feel guilty of their past actions. But to whom are they asking for forgiveness? Let us see here why an individual needs to ask for forgiveness. Lucio is watching their baby daughter confined in the hospital due to malnourishment. How come baby Crystal is given intravenous vitamins and the doctor is shaking his head worrying about the child's condition? Dr. Marisa learned why Baby Crystal got sick because of the negligence of Lucio to provide her needs. He prefers to hangout with his friends and depended on Marina to pay all their household expenses.. She cannot meet their whole monthly bills where their biggest expense is their house rent. Marina is only a factory worker and Lucio is a security guard of a big manufacturing company. He realized the result of his negligence this time when Baby Crystal is hospitalized with the daily expenses incurred If people brings their sick to the hospital they must be prepared to have a big amount of money on hand before they bring their patient there. Lucio thought how much burden having Baby Crystal hospitalized. Where will they get the money to pay the hospital aside from the prescription they are going to buy for her? He knows his friends cannot be of help having their own families to feed. He cannot call his relatives as they have still outstanding balances when they ask money to answer an immediate need. Lucio thought of going to church after work to go to their pastor to listen for his advice on what he must do to solve his problem. Marina called Lucio to tell him she is dropping by the hospital to visit Baby Crystal. Marina is worried that her baby becomes worst. Her mother is not much strong and capable to take care of her baby. She knows all along that this will come since they don't have much at home . she cannot blame her too. This is one reason why Lucio don't go home right away. He thought his mother in law is a burden to them. He do not give much thought when she is really a big help taking care of their baby. She could go and stay with her son. She is thinking what happens to Baby Crystal if she leaves her. Baby Crystal is recovering very slowly. Her grandmother is watching over her. Marina brought the chicken stew for her and some snacks for her lunch and something to munch. Marina talked to the nurse and asked when Baby Crystal would be release. The nurse shook her head saying they cannot determine when she will be discharge having some test to check her digestive system since food deprivation can damage a baby's system. She is given soft diet to help her digestion, solid foods are harder to digest. Marina felt exhausted and frustrated. If only Lucio listened to her that they have to combine their income to split their monthly expenses between them but Lucio refused. Lucio said that it is his money. Marina feels he is treated unfairly. She needs some relief of the burden she is carrying. Lucio must be obligated to do so, instead he is running away from his responsibility. Lucio approached their pastor to listen what he is going to say. Pastor Danny told him to pray to God to ask his forgiveness. And told him not to hang out with his friends anymore but to look after Baby Crystal and talk with Marina about their monthly expenses.. Marina is very conscious about budgeting. She will only consider the things they really need so that she will know what important monthly expenses she would put her money into. If there is something left no matter how small it is she put it aside. She discovered that Lucio is spending money unwisely by pleasing his friends giving them drinks everyday after work. She told him that this time that he needs them he cannot depend on them. Lucio came to realized that it is not advisable to be with friends just to hung out or to have some fun. Maybe to treat them occasionally is fine but everyday is totally prohibited. He ask forgiveness to Marina and told her that he will be home from work from then on. Marina was not sure so her fears keeps on bothering her not to depend to Lucio in this time of their crisis. She is not the type of a nagger to Lucio but doing what is right and dont leave things unfinished is what she has in mind. She takes all responsibility and do anything for Baby Crystal towards her full recovery. Last time that she has a company bonus she didn't spend it for unnecessary things but kept it in the bank. She can talk to the hospital that she can pay them by installment rather than pointing fingers to Lucio. She will give time for Lucio to change his habits. No one can force a person to change. That person will live by guilt if something happens because he didn't change his attitude. It took two months before Baby Crystal was discharged from the hospital. She was able to gain weight and a sign that she is quiet healthy is that she is all smiles. Her grandmother realized how important to be aware what is her role to her grand daughter. She began to be more attentive to what Marina says to her in taking care of Baby Crystal. It is very important to see very well how to take care of baby Crystal. She must follow a system that becomes her daily routine so she could not miss what the baby needs to become healthy. She has to look after herself too. Lucio has to work overtime. Both of them took out a loan from their company so that they can pay the hospital. When their income has been combined Marina and Lucio found out a big difference. There is already money to go to their savings account. Money that could be used for leisure or maybe for emergency. Lucio and Marina are working together harmoniously to achieve what they have talk together to reach the goal of becoming a happy family. There is no need to be with friends all the time. A strong family can solve its own problems. Family values have to be restored in our society. If their is a mistake find a solution. Nowadays the news covers cases about abandoned children Causes varies from alcoholism , early pregnancies irresponsible parents, or abusive parents lack of education about parenting and the modern concept tha children will support themselves when they reach a certain age. Are they really capable to do this? It is not hard to go back to the old practices traditions to raise a family. Bring back the old composition of a whole family not the single parent nor live in partners, This way the world will become a better place to live. again.
