It was 8:30. It was time for story time the grandmother sat on the edge on Eden's bed. " Now today's story is about a little girl" said the grandma. Once there was a little girl and her dream was to become famous. she would sing and put on shows for the neighborhood. she loved it. One day after one of her small show's a man walked up to her. He said that she was phenomenal and a wonder. a few days after she was on the front page of the newspaper. She was so happy. her dream was coming true. Then she became a teenager. Her dream's changed. She wanted to become a teacher and live a simple life not a life of fame and attention. Everyone didn't agree that she wanted to be a teacher. But she just ignored their hate. one day she didn't feel so well and she had very pale skin. her parents had to rush her to the emergency room. She had to get 30 blood tests. 3 day'd later the test results came back that she had leukemia lymphoma, a type of cancer. Her parent's in tears. She had to shave her head and had to get treatment. It was the hardest time of her life. she Felt like she was in a deep, deep, deep pit of fire. The doctor came in and said that she had to get a surgery to take all of the cancer cells out of her body. She was so nervous about the surgery. But she had a week to settle down. Her parents wanted to do something so very special. They decided to go on a Disney cruise
for six days. The first day they went to the water park. They had a water slide, a lazy river, and 2 swimming pool's. The second day they went survivor shopping. Everyone got a t- shirt and something small. Day four they played bingo. Day five they played some bored games. On the last day they packed up and went back home. It's the day of the surgery the little girl was terrified. When the surgery was going the little girl felt like she was in a dream and couldn't get out. The surgery took 30 minutes. when the little girl woke up she was so happy it was over. When the little girl got back to school the hate comments got worse. She started to lose friends. people started to make fun of her hair behind her back. She felt like she was back in the deep, deep, deep pit of fire again. Everyday The little girl came home crying and went up to her room. one day she was walking down a street to get some groceries. She saw a street performer. She was playing the ukulele. The little girl stood there and listened to the ukulele for about five to ten minutes. after she got back from getting groceries. She stood there again and just listened to the ukulele. When she got home she told her parents that she wanted a ukulele. The little girl's parents said that if she gets a job and gets the money for it maybe just maybe she could pay for one. So she got a job as a preschool teacher. The little girl got paid 8 dollars an hour. The ukulele Is 200 dollars. Her work days are Monday- Tuesday. She loves her job. A few weeks after she had enough money to buy the ukulele. When it came in she was so happy. She took it out of the box and immediately started to learn chords and songs. She just loved it. She would sing to her students and fellow co workers. She would schedule gigs and play on open mic nights. When she played and sang she felt like she was free. One day she got a letter in the mail form a famous producer. Dear ruby
I heard your talent in playing the ukulele. I've been working on a track and I think that it will sound great with your ukulele skills. Write a letter back to answer.

The little girl was so happy she ran to get a paper and pencil and to show her parents. When she showed her parents. This is what they said. “ i've heard that he has said that to a lot of people and has never gotten back to them but you can try.” so the little girl wrote and sent it to him. She waited and waited and waited. Then she finally got a note. The little girl read the whole thing. It’s just a note just saying that they need to pay their bills. Her parents felt so so vary sorry for her. So her dad came up with a super super sick/ dope beat for the girl to write a song and play her ukulele. The girl's dad told her about the beat. she said that she did't want to do it. so the dad had to convince her to write a song and play it. So the only way he could get her to write and play a song was to take her ukulele until she dose it. So when she was asleep her dad sunk in to her room and took her ukulele and replaced it with a letter that said, dear rose
I am taking away your ukulele until you agree to write a song and play that song on your ukulele. When she saw the letter she raged and screamed. She went to her father and said fine I'll do it. It took her week's to come up with a song and the ukulele chords but she did it. She sang and strummed it to her dad. her dad was so proud and happy. The reason he did it was to make her happy. THE END " So you know the girl in the story Eden." " yes" " that was me" grandma explained to Eden. " WHAT!!!! that girl was you" " yes". "Here I want you to have this". " Your ukulele" " yes" " thank you so much". " Your welcome! now lets get some sleep" " OK. good night grandma" " good night Eden". Then it was dark.
