The Hideous Rapist at the Weddings

Haven’t you heard of him? Yes, the ravenous rapist that ravaged the country in all weddings until weddings were banned and promiscuity thrived.

It all started few years back, the first case was of just a normal party goer, she wasn’t invited to the wedding party so when she disappeared, no one noticed. The rapist practically demoralized her, he had sex with her until she fainted. She was found in the rest room two days later when the hall attendants were cleaning the hall.

A second case involved a state official, wife of a minister. Dressed in her regal silky dress, she made way to the rest room, after three minutes, the minister who was overprotective of his wife- sent his boys to get her. He managed to beat the two guys just in a moment and ran off, got back to the wedding slowly as if nothing had happened. Needless to say, the minister’s wife was found to have fainted also, not due to the molestation but for the fact that the rapist now uses chloroform on his victims. The minister requested for an investigation team to be setup and Detective James came into story.

Since numerous weddings were still being put in place, Detective knew not the wedding the rapist would target. The only clue they had was that, he targeted only rich weddings.

The third rape was of a bridesmaid, elegantly dressed with exposed and seducing cleavage. A plump and fair looking lady. The rapist utterly destroyed this particular wedding. He raped her minutes before the bride's procession when she quickly went to the make-up room to get a necessary part of the bride’s costume. The victim was one with a lot of body fat and failing heart, so when she was taken to the hospital- she slipped into coma.

One major thing that baffled Detective James was how the rapist was fast enough to drug them, rape them and still get away cleanly even in the heat of the crowds of people around.

And then the rape goes on and on till someone was always raped in every marriage across the state. Then weddings became a once in a blue moon event but defiant and confident people still went on with their marriage, always making sure that Detective James was on site and all other rest rooms were manned by stiff and strict bodyguards.

The last bone that broke the dog’s canine came along with a temporary ban on marriages across the state. The rapist stepped up his game and came for a petite bride. She was a virtuous Christian lady who preserved her virginity till marriage. The rapist actually let the marriage happen without making a single move. The vows were taken and rings exchanged, the new couple danced and kissed and the rapist watched, doing what he does best.

The newscaster for the TV station that came to oversee the wedding had begun to make comments;

For the first time in months, a wedding happened with no sign of the rapist, what could have happened? Surely this is a blessed marriage.

But on the way to their new home, the couple’s car developed a fault. The groom had barely stepped out of the car for minute to make a call. He came back to the the naked thighs of his wife, her bridal gown was raised above her- soiled in blood and she showed no signs of breathing.

Sure, you can imagine how devasted he was, he called everyone he could call at that moment, took his wife to the hospital where she was pronounced dead due to overdose of the chloroform the rapist had used on her. The groom spent his nuptial night sobbing silently, cursing and swearing to catch the rapist and make him pay.

The government made a release the next day, banning all marriages temporarily.

Detective James was on the case for months unable to convince the state government to conduct a fake wedding with which he would capture the rapist.

“Your methods has failed,” they retorted.

Fast forward to when a new government cane in. The marriage ban was lifted and I, yes I, I got engaged and planned on marrying Tony, a cute wedding photographer.

Our wedding day came with Detective James onsite. “No bodyguards,” he said to Timi. He was so sure that he would catch the rapist in the act.

The priest read out the vows and we followed him, our mouths jingling excitedly. We were on the lookout for the rapist but he didn’t turn up, disappointing anxious Detective James. It was exhilarating, we danced and made merry, congratulations came from joyous family and friends.

We were also on the lookout on our way home. We all read the news and we know fully well all that he was capable of. I tuned the TV that night to find out that most of the news stations actually aired our wedding, talking about the absence of the infamous rapist.

After the night meal, Tony lead me to our matrimonial room. He took off my dress slowly and gently while I did the same. We climbed on the bed and started smooching exuberantly. The way he caressed and kissed my body slowly made me thought that he was experienced compared to my amateurish moaninigs.

I wanted the cuddling to continue for a while but he made me lie and climbed over me and started forcing himself on me.

“Go gently Tony, we have all the night to ourselves,” I said.

But it was as if Tony didn’t hear me, rather he became forceful on me. I stopped moaning and started shouting.

“Tony stop!” I screamed and tried pushing him off me but his face had stopped smiling. He slapped me across the face repeatedly. I cried and threw random jabs and kicks but he restrained me with more slaps and eventually got the chloroform, just a minute and I blacked out.

When I woke up some days later, the Doctor analyzed the damages that had been done to my private part. There were several internal ruptures and bruised and rashes. I was tested for infection but the results were yet to be out. Detective James came in later that day while I was being consoled my mother.

“Tony doesn’t exist,” He said.

I looked at him bewildered and betrayed.

He continued, “After hearing of your case yesterday, I made my findings on Tony. He isn’t registered anywhere, he had been going around as Tony, a wedding photographer. I went through the list of all the attendees of all the other wedding in which the Rapist had performed. One name was constant in all- Tony, he was always the event's photographer.”

I broke into tears. I cursed him in my heart. He had used my life as game.

“I checked out for his parents and friends, they were all fake, they were hired for few pennies. Just a bunch of lowlives.”

“So you mean that he is a fictional character, he doesn't exist literally but as another person?”

“Yea. And there is no traces of him anywhere, he just disappeared into the thin air.”

I sobbed the more, my mum hugged me tightly, “I will find him and destroy him,” I muttered continuously alongside my angry sons.
