Marlyn the Great

Each year, Marlyn organizes a party for folks of the town. Parties was organised for the youth and the elderly.

"This year, the party will be cool and joyful, i cant wait for it", Foster said. The various youth groups were planning endlessly to assist Marlyn's party a success since the party always make people happy, joyful because merry is never left out in the parties. More food, drinks and music and dance makes people of the town joyful. At the end of the party, people receive bunch of gifts to their various family houses.

Foster organised the party with the people by clearing the weeds near the parade ground which is located in the middle of town. He worked with grown group and harvest group of the farming community. Vincent called the Dazzle in the box?, Foster said and Michael has the caterer prepared the foods and drink which will be used?use my phone to verifty. Vincent and Micheal are the leaders of the grown and harvest faming group respectively. Ok sir, they said.

Micheal responsed, the caterer have done everything perfectly but Vincent was a little worried because the event planning firm thus Dazzle in the Box was not responding. He told Foster to give him a moment, he will be back.

Vincent left the town and visited the premises of Dazzle in the Box. When he reached there, he shouted aloudly and angrily " you knew the party has to come this evening exactly after 5pm but it is 3pm now, your firm have done nothing to organise all the neccessary decorations. Please hurray up. Priscilla is one of the staff of Dazzle in the box. She caters for all clients needs. She said, Vincent please forgive us, we had a little problem here but we are done. Kindly join us on the

courier bus, we are off to go. Ok let go, Vincent said.

Both sat in the bus to the town. When Foster saw them arrived at the grounds, he was happy and greatly said to Vincent, you know something, with you i believe you are a great leader that is why i placed you in charge of the event decorations. Well done. At 4 : 30pm, everything was set, gloomy and beautiful. People of the town were trooping to the grounds for the party. Different groups of the town covering different occupations in the town worn their groups attire. Everyone looks colorful and are sat in groups, making the grounds beautifical and exciting.By 6pm the grounds was filled with people, music was played which made people danced and sang along as the music played.

Marlyn is the leader of Asesei township who present the town in House of Legislators in the capital of Ghana. She does a lot of developments in the community such as building schols, hospitals, roads, offer scholarship to the needy and comes to the people's aid when they need her. For this reason, the community of Asesei love her and love to be with her all the times. During end of year party like this, she always invites chiefs of the community and other communities, MPs and other dignitaries she wished they can grace the occassion. She was happily when she announced in the Town Square that the event will come on, more bigger and stronger, everyone who were at the Town Square shouted for joy and clapped hands to express their true expression of the proposed programme. Foster is Marlyn assistant in the township when she is not in the community. Due to the assistance offered to the community, the community pays the same respect and love they display towards Marilyn to Foster.

Foster managing the event in the community while Marlyn also speaks to dignitaries to attend the event since it will be bigger than the previous years.

The event started with a prayer, after that MC, Eric de mike told the crowd that Marlyn is on her way, so they played and sang aloud her favourite song, horning as she approached with her Envoy. The people sang more alouder when she enter the grounds. She said to herself, woow this place looks beautiful and colorful, and accompanied with other dignitaries on board.

The event went on successful until when Marlyn was introduced to give her speech. As she drew nearer to the podium, she felt dizzy and weak. Her reaction drew attention to the MC. Some of the crowd saw what was happening. Suddenly the crowd stop making all the cheer towards her welcome, perplexed. Before the Mc drew near to withdraw her from the Podium she fainted in his arms of which he prompted the Elders. The elders were surpised and murmured among themselves saying, what is happening here. One elder said let pray for her. They surrounded her in a circle holding hands together prayed aloudly for her for almost 15minutes. At the end of the prayer, the crowd shouted a big Amen and with one accord clapped their hands. Immediately, her eyes was opened and asked : What is happening here.? She seems like something never happened and okay. Eric de mike said, you fainted madam. What!. Two officials and one elder took her to back stage free from the crowd. Stood her up to the back stage to energize her by giving her an energy drink and a bowl of rice and chicken soup. She ate like she has not eaten for days. As she was catered for, the crowd cheered and dance to music played by the DJ. When she camed back the crowd cheered with a big shout to welcome her when Mc Eric de Mike annouced that she is ok and ready to enter the podium.

She speak beautiful and strong when she came at the podium." Thank God for giving me the strength again. The encountered I had minutes ago was not just a mere thing. I will that I was almost dieing but God rise me up. Thanks lot my people for the supports and prayers. Todays is a great day for this community, let enjoy ourselves and happy. Thank you once again".

At the end all the dignitaries where given the podium to give their speeches, gifts was shared. People ate and drank alot during the event. It is time was given out gift to everyone. Marlyn shouted, it time for gifts, she was assisted with other dignitaries to share the gift to all members of the community, Elders first. The youth were given gifts represented by the various groups. In all there was over 105 youth groups who received at the party. As she mentions the groups, the two additional dignitaries present the gift to the group leader and receive a hand shake to appreciate what they have received. All the 105 youth groups were called for their gift. Everyone was happy and departed home safety.

Community loves the show despite the bad encountered but in all the event on successful.
