That one book that changed my life.

"Hi Aphro!"

"Hello there,Jemis"

Everyone in the village were greeting me Goodmorning as i walk in the market.Today's weather is quite sunny.A very nice weather for me to read a book in front of the sun

"Going to borrow a book again?"

I saw Miss Vina in her shop and waved at her.I ran towards her shop and flash her a smile

"Yeah im going to Mr Adonis's library to borrow a book.I heard that my favorite author published her new book yesterday,so im going there to borrow it"

"Quite excited for it in this very chilly weather,huh"

I laughed

She then gaved me a two plastic of apples that are really looking red and juicy

"Here,take this.You can give the other plastic to Mr Adonis,if you want"

I gratefully took the apples and said thanks.I wanna eat them here right now but i think it'd be better to eat them with a book

After a few minutes,Miss Vina and i exchange our goodbyes and i continued my way to Mr Adonis's library.I've been awefully waiting for my favorite author to finally publish her new book that she's been working on in Reedsy.And its finally here now!

The wind chimes of the entrance of Mr Adonis's library radiate itself after being struck when i opened the door,and made a sound

"Glad to see you here again,Aphrodite.What is it this time that you want to borrow?"

He walks closer to me and looked at the plastic of apples that im holding

"Hey Apa,would you like some apples?"

I call Mr Adonis 'Apa' whenever i talk to him.He's like a grandpa to me so i call him 'Apa' for short

"Did you got those from your Aunt Vina again?"

He asks,reffering to Miss Vina

I nodded and he took the one plastic of apples in my right hand.Im glad he likes Miss Vina's apples

I ask Mr Adonis if he remembers where'd he put my favorite author's new books are.He said he wasnt the one who were placing the new books today.I just nodded and left him in the counter

I started searching in the very back shelf

Most of the people were in the front while here in the back is quite quiet and a little bit of darkThe weather is quite chill today,perfect for bookworms to read their favorite book infront of the sunlight.

While searching for the book that im finding.I was wondering if its in somewhere high.The shelfs are extremely big so you need to use a ladder.I wonder if where i can find the ladder.

But before i can even make my way to find the ladder.I stumbled over a book that made the other books in the top fell too

Ouch.That hurts

I opened my eyes and see a book that was open in the ground

The book was quite big and has nothing inside it.What is this empty book doing here in the library?

Every page of the book were all empty that made me wonder why someone would ever make such a book that is ten times bigger than a normal book,that is empty

I kept flipping the pages to see if there really is nothing here

Then there was a one wierd drawing that drawed my attention

Its like a drawing of a summoning symbols

What are these symbols doing here?

It was a symbol that has a color of red,and as big as the book.I was only looking at the symbol when suddenly,it lighted up and everything went black.

"Oh.Your awake"

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a...person? I just realized that im lying in the floor,and i cant move any of my body.Am i being tied?

"Hello there darling,goodmorning.How was your sweet nap?" The guy asked me,flashing me a smile.He looks just like a human...but why does he have a pointy ears and a wings on his back?What the hell is happening?

"You are probably very confused on what is happening.But first of all,my name's Dionysus.And you are,Aphrodite if i am right?"

I didnt respond and just glared at him furiously

"You are probably wondering why you are here without knowing whats this place.But you are in an another dimension called Netherlands,or aka Hell.For someone who's a bookworm like yourself i guess you already know what's here in the Netherlands right?"

The place Netherlands is where different wierd creatures lives,such as demons and etc.I didnt ask him further questions for i am so confuse that i might explode so i just nodded then he proceed to untie me

Mr Dionysus and i were walking in a very big empty hall inside the Palace that he mentioned.Wow.Its very big that it looks like some giants live here.I didnt expect the palace to be something this big

As we were walking,he kept telling me about the ancient histories about this palace and the ancient histories of the demons who lives here

My curiosity keeps getting bigger and bigger as he tells me more about these Princes further and further and gets me so excited that i feel like im going to yeet myself

Then he stops from talking and realized,were in a very big door

"This is where the Princes lives.They need you there,im sure you'll be fine alone."

I just nodded and flash him a smile.Obviously wasnt agreeing that i'll be fine alone.

"Here.You open this door by yourself by inserting this key in the keyhole.I'll be going ahead now since i still have a job to take care of.See you some time darling."

He casually walk away,then ran.

Why is he in a rush for?

I looked at the key.And it is surprisingly ten times bigger in my hands,but its not heavy.The key is made of metal,and something big like this would weigh a lot.But it feels just like a normal key only, though if you look at the key and feel their weight,you'd be doubting your mind.

I proceed to insert the key in the keyhole.Though its kinda high that i cant reach it.No way i'd be able to reach something high like that without a ladder or something to climb on.Like some boxes or something

I heaved a sigh and starts to think for a way to get in here

I started observing this extremely big door when i suddenly saw something that looks like a summoning symbol.It is in a not very high place,its somewhere that i can reach.I wonder what is that thing doing here in the door.It has a color of green

Oh dont touch it,Aphrodite.I might get teleported in somewhere i dont know again like what just happened to me earlier in the library.But what if i put there the key?Let's see if the key will teleport if i put it there

I slowly put the key in the summoning symbol.I was careful to not let my fingers touch the symbol as i put the key.But in a surprise, the door opened

Wow.Thats it?

You guys would probably get robbed some day if you just simply put that thing in somewhere where most of the demons,or humans can reach

As the door opened,a very nice smell welcomed me from the inside.

The inside was quite dark,and i cant see a thing.I can see a few candles that are light tho.But the light wasnt enough to light the darkness.It feels as if im facing an abyss right now.

I slowly started to walk inside.Im a bit scared but my curiosity was making me forget about fear as i walk in

"Hello?" I said.

The door suddenly closed and it became even more darker.Omg i cant see!I feel like im being blindfolded right now.

I grope around to search for something that i can hold on to.I cant see a damn thing so i was using my feet to feel my surroundings,i might stumble into something and crash my head.

While i was groping,i bumped into something.

What's this thing?

I proceed to touch the thing i bumped into,feeling the touch of the thing from my palm to guess what it is.

Its soft,not hard,and...huh?

"What're you doing?"

I gasped when i heard a man's voice.Oh pie!

I then tried to wide my eyes to see who's this infront of me.But i cant see a darn thing

I can hear my heart beating rapidly.And i forgot how to breath.I cant breath through my nose so i tried to breath through my mouth and tried to calm myself down.

"Asmo!Turn on the lights,no need to make this surprise longer now that she found me." He shouted

I was shooked by what he said and tried hard to wide my eyes open again to see him.

But the lights turned on that made my eyes closed.Bruh so bright.For something so dark like an abyss theres also a light who's as bright as sun

"Did we scare you?"

I slowly opened my eyes and was shock of what i see.

Holy mother of pumpkin pie!

I rubbed my eyes if am i seeing things or something.

I've never seen such human who looks so incredibly handsome!

"Did Dionysus told you something about us?" He asked

Sorry.What?I dont even know who're you guys so how am i suppose to know?

I shook my head and he heaved a sigh

"So,Aphrodite right?"

I nodded

"Oh yeah,before we tell you about why your here and why we need you,allow me to introduce myself and the others there in the back"

I looked at the back and saw six handsome humans.Damn,how come they're so gorgeous and handsome at the same time.I wish i looked like them too

"Im Lucifer,the Sin of Pride"

I gasped when he mentioned the "Sin of Pride".I remembered Mr Dionysus mentioned that to me earlier.Uhhh

The Sins Pride,Sloth,Gluttony--and....HUU I FORGOT!!

"Im one of the Princes in Hell"

Wait what?Isn't the Princes of Hell supposed to be demons?I mean like,no way he's a demon,he looks exactly just like a human,and the others from the back too

I heard him laugh

"Beautiful expression there young lady.You probably thought im a human.But i am actually a demon." He said,proudly

Damn.I was excited to finally saw a human here other than me

The human-looking-demons from the back went beside Lucifer

"Hi sweetie!Im Asmodeus,the Sin of Lust"

Says the demon who's beside Lucifer.He gaved me a smile and winked.So this is the Sin of Lust,well accurate.From the looks of it he looks flirty and...okay he's not pure

"Im Belphegor,Sin of Sloth" He said then yawns

Sloth?Like...an animal?He doesn't look like it tho.He looks sleepy and....lazy?

"Im Satan,the Sin of Wrath"

The guy beside Belphegor says,and flashed me a smile

I then heard something who i thought is a thunder.Is there a storm right now?

"Uhm,sorry..that was my stomach..." Says the one who's next to Lucifer in the other side

Oh

"Im Beelzebub,the Sin of Gluttony.By any chance,do you have any food with you right now?"

He rubbed his stomach while giving me a puppy eye.Aww

"Dont worry i have-"

I gasped

OH PIE

WHERE ARE THE APPLES?!

I suddenly started to freak out and keeps searching the area for my apples.NOOOO!!Why did i forget about the APPLES!?They were freshly made for me!!

"Are you okay?"A guy asks beside Beelzebub.He has a tail in the back that looks like a snake.Oh wait its actually a snake.Oh snakes have tails?I didnt knew.I thought they just have a long body.

"Oh yeah im Leviathan.The Sin of Envy"

He looks quite cold

I then look at the last guy who haven't introduce his self yet.

Our eyes met and he raised an eyebrow

"What ya' lookin' at there human?"

Oh he speaks oddly cool

I told him that he forgot to introduce his self and he just shrugged and said my bad.That's an odd reaction-

"Im--"

"He's Mammon.The Sin of Greed" Lucifer cutted him off.

"HEY!!Why ya kept stealing my line?!"

"You looked like you aren't interested so i did you a favor"

Mammon was about to kick his feet but he holds his grudge and sighed

Now they're names are Mammon,Lucifer,Beelzebub,Satan, Asmodeus,Leviathan and Belphegor.For someone who's incredibly handsome as them they have a very cool unique names too

"So Aphrodite,do you,by any chance,remember us?" Lucifer asked

I was confused about his question and shook my head.Do we know each other?

He then just let out a sigh.He looked sad and hurt that made me worry.Is there something wrong?

"I can tell your worried.But im fine.Its nothing."He mumbled and look away from me.Poor thing

I asked him about why am i here and why am i needed here.He was sighing over and over that made me wonder whats his problem

"Lets cut to the chase.So basically,your here because you are,somehow,half part of us"

Huh?

"Like not related.But your a half human and a half demon."

And that was the day where my life changed

Im now living with these demon princes.And everyone treats me as a princess.As if i am someone rich,royal or something.

Im just a simple young lady living in the human world,in the Keinston Village,with a simple house

I lived there entire my entire life.Without a parents or a family

And as i grow up.Everyone in the village feels like a family to me.The family i have now is something i could ever ask for.I also have Ms Vina whom i thought of as my Mother,and Mr Adonis as my both Grandpa and Father.If they were to be together,imagine how happy that'd be

And now here i am.In an another dimension,living with the demons. It has been already a month,since i stayed here.When Lucifer told me i was a half human and a half demon.My reaction was really wierd.But i felt oddly amazed

The princes,surprisingly,was kind to me.

They gaved me comfort,and everything i could ever ask for.They were someone,whom i thought as my siblings.And i want my relationship and bond with them to last longer as i live.

They say that the all of them were already hundreds years old.While im just seventeen,wait no im turning eighteen this year.But they said im already two hundred years old.And i was really shock that for someone with that age i looked just like a teenager

Welp Demons dont age.But im half tho

They said i got a blood of a human,when my parents sent me to the human world

I lived here in the Netherlands,for more than twenty years before. And sent me in the human world,with no memories of the past.And was inside of a human body

They said that my demon form was still inside me.And i could always change my form when i feel like i want to

Despite my horrible past that i had

The princes have been always there for me when i need them

And they were the ones who took care of me too when i was born here in the Netherlands,they didnt told me the backstory of mine from the past.They said i was a kid back then,even though i was already fifty or more years old.But i was exactly just a kid

Living with the princes so far was nice and fun

They were lovey doveys to me.Very clingy and acts like a baby

"Hey guys...you all are the best brothers i could ever ask for." I said to them and they all looked at me.I know it was wierd to say that,sorry

We all were in my bed.They were all in a circle while i was in the center.And they're killin me with their glares

"Look,Aphro.We know we took care of you since you were still a little kid." Says Belphe.I call them with the nicknames i gaved to them

"But you've grown alot and changed.You aren't the little princess that we used to know...you've hit puberty,you've grown,you've matured,you have massive--"

"Okay stop with that,Asmodeus!" Beelze cuts off Asmo.Asmo then smirked while looking at me with a dirty eyes.Sheesh when will he stop being a pervert.Though im already used to Asmo being like that since hes the Sin of Lust after all

"Dont call us your brothers.We arent related to you." Says Levi.

Hm yeah thats true,sadly

"Aphro.Now that ya aren't related to any of us.Who will ya choose if any of us will ask ya out?"

My eyes wide open when i heard Mammon's question.Excuse me what?

"Dream on Mammon.Why would you princes ask someone like me who's only simple and--"

"Go out with me!!"

Before i could even finish what i was saying,the all of them just said the same thing at the same time.

What the hell is happening?

"HEY!!Why y'all keep buttin in when i was the one here who asks her first!?"

I was really shooked about the all of them and glared at them furiously.Seriously these demons,they wont stop saying those stuff to me.Although they knew that i dont have those kind of feelings for them

"Look guys,no matter how many times y'all are going to hit on me.I wont ever have a feelings to any of you.I see you all as my brother only.And i cant date a bro-"

I can feel a very strange and scary glares to me,that made me stopped what i was about to say.

W-what is this tension?D-did i say something wrong?

"Just you wait Aphro,you might see us as your brother,but no matter how and what you see us as.Nothing can stop me for taking something that's mine.And im taking you someday,Aphro." Says Lucifer

Then followed by the others

Sigh.Sometimes,i feel like i want to go back to the human world

I dont know if im just dumb or just....really clueless about why these princes are always fighting over me.They often get into fights in my presence.So i mostly tend to hid away from them

And that was my life there in the Netherlands.

With the demon princes in my daily life-
