"Mom! I can't believe it's already 2020! That's a cool year." Jen shouted through the living room

"Yes, Jen. This is the year." Mom said

"2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!" The reporter cut off Carrol

"YAY!" Carrol always got over-excited

"Go to sleep girls. Tomorrow Daddy's coming home."

"Yay! DADDY." Jen and Carrol said together.

"Good-night." Jen ran upstairs

"Daddy, bo-baddy-banana-fana-fo fatty!" Carrol laughed from downstairs, "FATTY! Daddy's not fatty. He's skinny!"

Jen sat down at her desk. Her clock read, 12:01. She sighed. She got to work on her paper. It was due on Thursday.

Jen fell asleep. BOOM! A cannon.

"Happy New Year!" A man shouted. Jen was on the ground in some field.

"But New Years just happened! What time is it?" Jen shouted

People were cheering,

"Happy 1920! I wonder what life will be like in 1000 years." The man shouted again

"1920?" Jen asked a girl

"Yes!" She said

"Wow! I timed traveled!" Jen said in awe

"No, you haven't. Time-traveling isn't real." the girl said

"But it was just 2020!" Jen said

"HAHA." A man said. "Miana, let's get away from this 2020 person."

"But, Pappa, what if she needs help?"

"She'll find another lou-lou to mess with." the girls Pappa answers

"Good-bye, 2020." the girl left with her Pappa

"Ballia! Is that you? Ballia?" A boy tapped Jen on the shoulder.

"NO!" Jen answered, "My names not Ballia."

"Sorry, ma'am. Have you seen my cousin? Ballia?" the boy asked

"Denti! Denti!" a girl ran toward them, the boy looked up

"Ballia!" they hugged then hurried off.
