The Third Heavens

Ransom, son of the shield in the earthly realms, sets out to find Elizebeth and his son after returning from a series of wars, only to learn that his son, Ramon, a mighty protector, has died at the hands of Javan. Torn with sorrow and regret, Ransom sits alone in a wooded area to grieve and reflect on his life journey.

When Ransom was young, he went away to join the military unbeknownst that the woman he once loved long ago was pregnant with his son. After learning this news, Ransom hears that her parents sold her to a deceiver named Javan to rid them of the responsibility of caring for a single mother. However, they were unaware this man had deceived them with his charms like a viper, smooth words, and grandiosity. But he had other intentions; he wasn't looking for a wife to love, provide for, and protect. Instead, Javan desired an enslaved person to care for his two children and home and appease and worship him like a god. Unfortunately, he also deceived Elizabeth until she saw him morph into what looked like a serpent when he violently attacked her. Not only had her son witnessed the attack, but at the young age of nine, he saw the wickedness of his stepfather and swore to Javan that he would kill him if he ever harmed his mother again. From that day forward, Javan feared the words of this child. As Ramon grew in strength and wisdom, Javan devised a plan and killed him by ambush because Ramon was his mother's mighty protector. He knew he could not deceive Ramon as he did others and isolated her from them; he convinced them that she was insane.

However, Elizabeth was a woman who feared the One true God and would not bow down to her earthly husband; instead, she knew God was with her and gave her a son to be like his father to protect her as his father did many years before. Ransom, a handsome man of Spanish descent, a man of great strength and integrity, was a warrior who fought in many battles, and Elizabeth prayed for his safety and return; her greatest desire was that he and their son would be united one day.

Elizabeth, also of Spaniard and Indian descent, was a beautiful woman, and her strength was a gift from God. Even in her older age, her long, dark brown curly hair, now lined with grey, highlighted her hair like a crown, draped down her solid shoulders and callused hands from years of hard work; she too was morphed as a warrior queen, and Javan saw her strength as a threat and tried to silence her prayers to God for justice. There are countless sons and daughters of the Highest God. Javan's mission was to keep her hidden from them; he knew their power was greatest when united in the spiritual realms. Therefore, when bowed on her knees in prayer secretly behind closed doors, she appeared as a warrior dressed for battle, suited in armor with the sword of the Spirit in hand as she prayed to the God of the angel armies.

So Elizabeth swore to God and searched for the only one who could give her what no man on earth could provide; perfect love, protection, and provision for her and her son through the spiritual realms. She sought after the Lord in prayer for His grace, peace, strength, and courage to do what she believed God wanted her to do until her deliverance came. After many years of suffering from the manipulation and lies of a wicked husband who attempted to kill her because he no longer had use for her in her old age. Little did he know that God was already guiding Elizebeth and planning her escape. Finally, two witnesses forcefully delivered her from Javan's hands and safely exited her from captivity.

In the meantime, Ransom searches for them for many years to no avail and almost gives up. However, with renewed strength, he keeps searching. When Ransom finally gets close and hears his son is dead, his power is weakened and drained of all hope; Ransom gives up. Javan ambushes his stepson with a spear; he drives it into his heart while sleeping and kills Ramon. As a coward, Javan waits until Ramon is sound asleep because his stepson is more vital than he, and he knows Ramon will overpower him with great strength. When the father learns about the death of his son, he is filled with grief and sits in a wooded place, staring at the moon. At times, the father swore he could see a fierce battle waged in the sky-the clouds took the shape of heavenly warriors-angels fighting the demonic while all around him were those beating drums and playing instruments that made the sounds of devilish music. The constant battle for our souls is what we cannot see unless we have eyes to see and ears to hear. At times, Ransom finds himself searching for a Guatemalan child lost in a refugee camp whose purpose in life is similar to his own to prep the next generation for battle, the spiritual warfare of their future generations. However, he does not come as a reincarnation but as the Spirit of the man moving thru the ages as a member of his family.

However, his visions are confirmed after he sees the moon getting closer and smaller until he sees it looks like a blinding shield and a young, very handsome, muscular man standing behind it. The young man says, "I am your son, Ramon, who you now grieve. I am not dead; I feel more alive in Spirit than in my earthly body. Like you, my earthly father who has fought to keep the nations safe, I am in the Lord's Army, a soldier fighting against spiritual warfare for the generations after us. As you have fought on earth, I fight in the third heavens and heavenly realms. I need you to continue to help on the earthly battlefield. Our ancestors need us to unite them from captivity, free them from the serpent's grip, and defeat the beast holding them captive, for the battle is spiritual and morphs into the physical, thus destroying children and the world with the fire of the mouth of the serpent. The prince of the air is trying to kill my mother through the hands of wicked men like my stepfather, Javan. He knows her gifts as a teacher, strengthens the children's crafts for a better future, and empowers them with knowledge. The enemy is out to kill their power by keeping them trapped in despair.

However, she, too, is a Warrior, a Prayer Warrior. The Lord heard her prayers, and she cried out to the Lord these words when she saw a vision of darkness and evil surrounding her; terror struck her in the night of her soul. These were her spoken words that reached the heavens:

"When I woke up this morning, my son was gone, Lord; your light wasn't shining in my heart; darkness came upon me like an eclipse and consumed me. I fell to my knees when I learned of his death. I saw evil surrounding me, countless demons lurking from the corners of my eyes. I was trembling so badly, and I held my chest; I couldn't breathe! My son was murdered as he slept in the night; he was a hand of protection upon me. So then, as I bent over, I cried out loud, "Who will fight for me? Who will defend me in my hour of need, for he always protected me in the earthly realms!"

Suddenly, I heard what sounded like the thunder of thousands upon thousands; an army approaching me. I looked up and saw what looked like Mighty Warriors all around me. They came dressed in the armor of God; I saw you, my son standing next to the Commander and Chief of the Lord's Army, Jesus Christ. The light of His Presence overpowered the darkness and destroyed the enemy of my soul and set me free."

"I am here now says Ramon, to unleash His vengeance on the wicked; we are threefold and not easily broken. But first, the saints' prayers unleash God's power on His enemies."

"What can I do now Ransom asks, I am old, my bones are weak. How can old man help in the battlefield now."

"The enemy knows how to weaken God's people and discourages them from prayer because he knows the power is greater when the saints pray in one mind and Spirit. Heaven's gates open through the power of prayer, and God's vengeance is unleashed through His Heavenly Army of angels. The devil fears his day is near; you must teach the children how to pray and seek God's power.

Before I leave, father, I want you to know that I forgive you and understand why you had to go away. My mother also forgave you and prayed for your safety; she knew we would be united again in Spirit and Truth. So keep praying for the saints until we meet again in the heavenly realms.

Soon after, Ransom sees his son fade into the moon's reflection. Again, he falls to his knees and cries intensely for his son. Only this time, he now hopes to be his guiding light as he moves to search for Elizebeth.

However, though miles apart, Ransom and Elizebeth are united in the spiritual realms, threefold with their son Ramon, together fighting as mighty men and women in the third heavens.
