THE UNSPOKEN WORDS

"Happy birthday mom", tears roll down Kia's eyes as she kept staring at the midnight sky. The sparkling stars and the moon looked so ethereal. The whole world was fast asleep but the pain in her heart kept her awake. "I miss you mom, you are the brightest star in my galaxy." A sad smile crept on her face as she recalled the heartbreaking memories of two years back.

"Dad, hurry up she will be home anytime.""Don't worry princess everything is ready." "Hope she likes it. I can't wait to see her reaction. You know she was very upset since morning that we didn't wished her." Kia chimed. At that moment Kia's father's phone rang and as he answered" hello! am I talking to Mr. Kendrick?" "Yes" "Do you know Mrs. Elissa ?" "Y-yes she is my wife." "I am so sorry to inform you but your wife got into an accident and she is taken to the city hospital." As soon as he heard that phone fell out of his hand and he crouched down crying. "Dad! dad what happened?" "Your mom, s-she met an accident." They rushed to the hospital. "You need to complete the formalities before we do her surgery."Doctor said to them. "Please save my mom, please." Kia requested doctor as her mom was being taken to the surgery room.

After some time doctors came out of the room " The loss of blood was too much and due to the glass hitting right at her heart we were not able to save her. I am really sorry." The whole world around Kia stopped as she was not able to believe her ears that she lost her mom, the only woman she admired the most, her best friend and her everything.

"Hope you were here mom, you would have been proud of me. You know today I was chosen as the representative for the college in the National College League.", Kia said as she kept staring at the sky talking to her mother. "You know how much we miss you mom, your smile,your food, the way you talk, our best memories all those things hurt me so much when I realize that you are with us. You know that day how much I wanted to tell you that I am so lucky to have you as my mother, my buddy as my everything." Kia said as tears rolled down her eyes.

A mother and daughter's bond is a special one that spans the years. Through laughter, worry, smile and tears. A sense of trust that can't be broken, depth of love sometimes unspoken, a lifelong friendship built on sharing hugs and kisses, warmth and caring, mother and daughter their heart as one- a link that can never be undone.

" I still remember when everyone used to say that I am a reflection of yours how much you used to feel good but I always said that I am not like you we are different but you know mom, I really want to be your reflection. I always look up at the sky and think about you. I would give anything in this world just to hear your voice again. I miss you voice, your laugh, the warmth of your hugs, your everything."

"You know what you meant to us. I have so much to talk about with you. I wanted to celebrate lots of birthdays, anniversaries, festivals and holidays with you, mom. You know when you left us, how much dad was broken, he never showed his weak side to me but he cried everyday remembering you. I prepared a letter to give to that day as your present and wrote all the things I always wanted to tell you. I wanted you to know you are the most beautiful woman in this world, that you are the most precious person for me. I wanted to tell you that you and dad are the best couple of this world and the best parents one could have. I wanted to say that I understand you too get tired, you too get sad and there is no need to always show that you are happy, now I am grown up and I can understand when you feel sad and you can share your problems with me." she was crying hysterically.

" I am sorry for not wishing you that day but I was preparing a surprise for you and I never thought that you will leave me in the middle of my life like this. I am sorry mom for every bad thing I said to you, for shouting at you, calling you annoying but you never left my hand. You always loved me the same way, always supported me, always you were at my back. But now when you are not with me I am really sorry for every time I ill-behaved with you. You know that I have had no one besides your to talk with and ow your daughter is really alone mom, dad always tries his best to spend time with me to share his emotions with me but he also have to look after his work and I don't want to disturb him for smallest things. But I really don't have anyone who can listen to me calmly, without judging me. I really miss you mom." She cried her heart out standing at the window.

"I wanted to thank you for always providing me and ear to confide in, for always being there right by my side for always being my best friend. I never told to how much I love you, how much I respect you, you are my everything." She clutched her chest as she was getting out of breathe because of crying. She wipes her tears and said " Mum, I will always make you proud of me and you'll always be the most important person of my life Mom."
